Abstract

This study's objective is to examine the factors that influence the quantity of oil exported from Indonesia, including the area of plantations, the price of palm oil, the exchange rate, and the amount of palm oil production. In the current study, Time Series data spanning the years 1989 to 2020 were subjected to an Error Correction Model (ECM) Test. This research was compiled using data from both the 2019-2021 National Leading Plantation Statistics book and the World Bank. In the near future, test results will be available. Price has a significant inverse relationship with Area, while Area has a significant positive relationship. Both of these connections are important. As indicated by a probability value of less than 5%, the exchange rate variable has a significant and negative relationship with the volume of palm oil exports in the long run, while the area variable has a significant and positive relationship with the volume of palm oil exports. Both of these connections are important.

Abstract

All countries in the world, both developed and developing countries, are facing pollution problems in order to be able to balance accelerating economic growth with environmental degradation problems due to their economic activities. The acceleration of economic development in Indonesia to achieve high industrial growth is directly proportional to the cause of the high increase in carbon dioxide emissions. The purpose of this study is to see the environmental impact of the regulations set, as well as to provide recommendations for the formulation of environmentally friendly economic development policies in the future. This study applies time series data regression with ECM as the method used. Indonesia was chosen as the object of the theory Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) from 1990 to 2020. The results of the study show that the squared industry variable in the short term is not significant, but in the long term, it is significant and has an effect of -0.0002, which means that the EKC hypothesis is not proven in the short and long-term, only a decrease in environmental degradation occurs. (CO2 emissions) because industry increases in the long term or industry has a significant negative effect on carbon dioxide emissions in the long term.

Abstract

Every individual, including persons with disabilities, has the right to work and a livelihood that is decent for humanity. This study aims to analyze the conditions of participation of persons with disabilities in the labor market and identify potential discrimination of persons with disabilities in the labor market in the public and private sectors in Magelang City. The research used a qualitative approach with analysis techniques developed by Miles and Huberman. The results show that there have been inclusion efforts made to increase the absorption of disabilities in the public and private sector labor market. Other findings show that there is no local regulation in Magelang City that regulates workers with disabilities. Although some public agencies have shown commitment in employing people with disabilities, similar responses from private companies are still minimal. In addition, it was identified that there are still people with disabilities who experience different treatment when applying for jobs. Although there have been inclusion efforts and commitment from several public agencies in employing people with disabilities, stronger local regulations and stricter government supervision are still needed to ensure equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities and address discrimination and stigma in both the public and private sectors.

Abstract

Abstract

The distortion model becomes a problem in development planning, including in the development goals of reducing discrimination and concerns. These two things are closely related to gender expectations on work participation. The purpose of this study was to estimate the gender pay gap at the work participation rate of household heads in Magelang during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical tools used are Probit regression and the decomposition of the Blinder-Oaxaca model. The model decomposes wage differentials by gender. The study uses the 2020 SAKERNAS data. The results show that work participation for male household heads is determined by the marginal effect of work experience, age and area of residence, not education level and number of family dependents, while female household heads are only determined because of the number factor. family responsibilities. Furthermore, the potential work experience of male household heads has a significant negative effect. Research findings from the Blinder-Oaxaca Decomposition calculation show that the difference in wages between groups of household heads during the Covid 19 pandemic proved statistically significant. The role of the government is expected to be more active in disseminating policies related to gender in the labor market and exercising control over business actors in implementing labor regulations.
