Abstract

This research aims to analyze reviews in understanding the opinions and emotions expressed by users regarding the Google Translate application on the Google Play Store using sentiment analysis. By using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method in sentiment analysis of the Google Translate application, to get a better understanding of how users respond to the application. This can help developers improve the application experience, responding better to user needs and preferences. This user review analysis uses the SVM method. The measuring tool in this research uses, firstly, the Indonesian Lexicon as a tool to obtain positive and negative results, secondly, term frequency–inverse document frequency (tf-idf) as a support for the results of the evaluation. Google Translate app has a dataset of 1000 user reviews collected from Google play store. The results of analysis using Support Vector Machine produced 95% accuracy, with "no" as the result of the most positive and negative reviews out of 1580 reviews.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology that is revolutionizing various industries and everyday life. This study aims to explore current trends and challenges in IoT research and publication. The research method employed in this study begins with a blind search across various international journal databases, followed by ranking the minimum and maximum percentages of each IoT subject. The journal databases used include IEEE, Science Direct, Taylor and Francis, and NATURE. Subjects with minimal rankings or IoT journal topics with the lowest percentages in each database were then reviewed based on predetermined filters. The blind search results revealed that IoT subjects with the lowest percentages were IoT Smart Farming at 0.87%, IoT Smart Bin at 1.54%, and IoT Smart Water at 2.73%. A review was subsequently conducted on journals covering IoT subjects to identify trends and challenges related to techniques, tools, and objects in the subjects with the lowest percentages.

Abstract

RAHMATIKA POTOHU. Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Pada Materi Media dan Jaringan Telekomunikasi Kelas X TKJ (dibimbing oleh Dr. Mukhlisulfatih Latief, S.Kom., MT dan Arif Dwinanto, S.SI, M.Pd, MCE). Materi Media dan Jaringan Telekomunikasi Kelas X TKJ masih kurangnya Media Pembelajaran interaktif, preferensi metode ceramah, kurangnya keterlibatan siswa, ketidakadaan inovasi dalam Pembelajaran dan kurangnya motivasi siswa. Di kelas X TKJ jarang mendapatkan media pembelajaran software ataupun Link yang mempermudah belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Articulate Storyline pada materi "Media dan Jaringan Telekomunikasi" untuk siswa kelas X Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) di SMK Negeri 1 Kaidipang. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Media yang telah dikembangkan diuji dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas X TKJ, dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai kelayakan media pembelajaran berdasarkan respon siswa dan guru. Hasil validasi dari ahli media dan materi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini sangat layak digunakan dengan persentase kelayakan sebesar 86% dari ahli media dan 88% dari ahli materi. Sementara itu, hasil evaluasi dari siswa menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat efektif dengan persentase kepuasan sebesar 89%. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan.
