Abstract

Teacher-centered instruction in many Akidah Akhlak classes has resulted in low student participation and learning outcomes below KKM 76, underscoring the need for more active approaches. This study evaluates the effect of the pair checks model on Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes at MTsN 6 Agam. Using a quantitative experimental design, the sample comprised class VIII.5 (n = 32) as the experimental group implementing pair checks and class VIII.4 (n = 32) as the control group employing a conventional model; assumption tests included normality and homogeneity using the Lilliefors procedure, followed by hypothesis testing via N-Gain computation and an independent t-test. The main findings show a significant effect of pair checks on learning outcomes, with a meaningful difference between the experimental and control classes (p-value [sig] = 0.000 < 0.05) and superior achievement in the class using pair checks. It is concluded that implementing pair checks effectively improves Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes and promotes more active learning; the findings contribute by reinforcing student-centered instructional practice in Akidah Akhlak and guiding teachers toward the adoption of cooperative learning strategies.

Abstract

Learning material of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in class VII MTs Diniyyah Pasia only came from books which were not relevant to students' needs. Therefore, the development of valid, effective and practical SKI based on Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) teaching materials is absolutely necessary. This study aims to develop SKI teaching materials based on higher order thinking skills. The methodology used in this research is research and development. The development technique uses a case based reasoning system. The series of learning activities use a scientific approach that is integrated with the 2013 curriculum. The learning models used are problem-based learning, contextual-based learning, and comprehensive concept understanding. The teaching materials that have been developed have met the validity test requirements with a test score of 96% based on expert/lecturer assessments. This teaching materials module has a practicality test score of 91.4% and is declared very practical. This teaching material module is also declared effective with a correlation value of 0.78 and has an influence of 78% on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 has an impact on accelerating the transformation of education in Indonesia. Starting from active online learning then developing into the implementation of hybrid learning. At this time, hybrid learning has become important to use due to the demands of developments in information and communication technology in all aspects of life, including in the world of education. The development of technology and information in the world of education has encouraged the emergence of innovative learning models which are useful as alternatives for solving the obstacles faced in traditional learning models. This hybrid learning system is seen as being able to support the concept of Independent Learning, Independent Campus. The use of a hybrid learning system at the tertiary level is a form of digital transformation in the world of higher education. Digital literacy is applied at the tertiary level in conjunction with the learning process using the hybrid learning method. One platform that can be used as a learning medium in this hybrid learning system is YouTube.  YouTube was chosen as a learning medium because YouTube is easy to access and students can access learning materials on YouTube wherever and whenever they need. This research was conducted to see the effectiveness of using YouTube media in Hybrid system learning in the History of Islamic Education course. The results of the research that has been carried out is, YouTube media is effectively used as a learning medium for Islamic education history courses,  this is proven by the result analysis that 74,33%. This means that most of the respondents agreed that YouTube media was effective in learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a change or decline in the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, where many teenagers use social media excessively, which makes their religious behavior show a less than good attitude. Such as often neglecting to perform worship because they are too engrossed in using social media, as well as a lack of socialization in the community. In this research, the method used is a quantitative method with product moment correlation coefficient data analysis techniques using SPSS 25. Using data collection techniques through questionnaires. In this research, the sample used was 35 people. The results of this research show that there is an influence between the use of social media on the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency with a correlation coefficient value of 0.760 in the interval 0.75-0.99. This means that the independent variable (Use of Social Media) has an influence on the dependent variable (Adolescent Religious Behavior), which means it has a very strong influence. Meanwhile, 0.05 or (5%) is influenced by other factors and the coefficient of determination is 0.760 or 76%. So based on the results of this research it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of Social Media on the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency.

Abstract

Beberapa masalah yang penulis temukan di Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di kelas X MA, dimana dalam pembelajaran pendidik masih minim dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang dipakai biasanya hanya terbatas pada media power point dan metode ceramah, sehingga dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik merasa jenuh dan tidak bersemangat dalam belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Flipchart pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam kelas X MA Pondok Pesantren Madinatul Munawwarah Bukittinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan pendekatan 4D, yang mempunyai 4 tahapan yaitu : define, design, develop and disseminate. Penelitian ini diuji melalui 3 tahap yaitu: Uji Validitas yang dilakukan oleh para ahli dalam bidangnya seperti konten, konstruk, dan bahasa yang menggunakan rumus Aikens ‘V. Kedua Uji Praktikalitas dilakukan dengan guru mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di lokasi penelitian yang menggunakan rumus moment kappa(K), serta Uji Efektivitasdilakukan dengan beberapa peserta didik yaitu pada kelas X E.1 dan X E.2 menggunakan rumus G-Score (<g>). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Flipchart pada materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam bisa digunakan oleh guru dan peserta didik kelas X. Jadi media Flipchart ini digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Dan desing media ini bisa diakses oleh Peserta didik melalui android. Untuk hasil uji produk validitas dengan nilai 0,83 yang dinyatakan valid, hasil Uji Praktikalitas dengan nilai 1,00 dinyatakan sangat praktis, dan hasil uji efektivitas dengan nilai 0,81 yang dinyatakan efektif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam pada materi Peradaban Islam Daulah Umayyah di Andalusia sebagai media pembelajaranFlipchart sudah valid, praktisdan efektif.
