Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di kelas III SDN Brayublandong masih menggunakan pembelajaran bersifat teacher centered dengan metode konvesional sehingga mengakibatkan siswa pasif dan hasil belajarnya kurang optimal. Siswa kelas III SDN Brayublandong memiliki berbagai karakteristik kecerdasan yang beragam. Oleh karena kecerdasan siswa beragam, dalam proses pembelajaran guru dituntut untuk dapat memfasilitasi setiap kecerdasan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perangkat pembelajaran, mengetahui pengaruh, dan mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis multiple intelligences terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Experimental Design dengan desain Pretest-Postest control group design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN Brayublandong yang dipilih secara acak.Data hasil instrumen tes dianalisis dengan uji statistik. Hasil rata-rata uji gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi, hasil uji determinasi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 63% dan analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 6,008 > ttabel sebesar 2,080, artinya terdapat pengaruh antara pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III SDN Brayublandong. Efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences dilihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81,04 > KKM, rata-rata aktivitas guru= 3,88 dengan kriteria sangat baik, rata-rata aktivitas siswa = 3,58 dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan rata-rata respon positif siswa = 97,39% dengan kriteria sangat kuat.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning skills are a fundamental aspect in mathematics learning that contributes to students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies applied by teachers in improving students' mathematical reasoning skills in elementary schools. The research method used is a qualitative review based on literature studies and data analysis from relevant previous research. The results showed that teachers applied various strategies, including problem-based learning (PBL), group discussions, scaffolding, and the use of technology and interactive media in the learning process. In addition, metacognitive and reflective approaches have proven to be effective in improving students' critical and analytical thinking skills. These findings provide insight for educators in developing more effective teaching methods to improve students' mathematical reasoning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas artikel internasional melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Mendeley dalam pelatihan berbasis teknologi. Manajemen referensi yang efisien menjadi kunci dalam penyusunan artikel ilmiah yang berkualitas. Namun, banyak peneliti mengalami kesulitan dalam hal ini. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 April 2024 melalui platform virtual Zoom, diikuti oleh 29 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang. Materi pelatihan mencakup pengenalan Mendeley, fitur-fitur utamanya, dan praktik penggunaannya dalam manajemen referensi. Metode pelatihan melibatkan presentasi interaktif, demonstrasi langsung penggunaan Mendeley, serta sesi latihan dan diskusi kelompok. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan Mendeley, serta peningkatan kualitas artikel internasional yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi peserta dan komunitas ilmiah, dengan meningkatkan kualitas penelitian yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam pendidikan semakin menjadi kebutuhan yang mendesak untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Salah satu teknologi yang memiliki potensi besar adalah Artificial Intelligence (AI), yang dapat digunakan untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran interaktif yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Namun, masih banyak pendidik yang belum mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi ini karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dan dosen mengenai penggunaan AI dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Workshop ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom dengan melibatkan 32 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyampaian materi melalui presentasi dan demonstrasi, dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab dan latihan praktis pembuatan media pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran. Peserta juga menunjukkan ketertarikan untuk lebih mendalami penggunaan AI di bidang pendidikan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa AI memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, namun diperlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan agar pendidik dapat mengatasi tantangan dalam implementasinya

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject indicate the need for more effective learning strategies to enhance language comprehension and skills.The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes flexible learning and the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) strategy, which adjusts the learning process to the actual abilities of the students.The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can encourage students to think critically, collaborate, and find solutions relevant to their lives.This study aims to obtain information regarding the differences in learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on the topic of imperative sentences using the PBL learning model with the TaRL approach.This research is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles.In the pre-cycle, an initial test was conducted to determine the students' learning outcomes.The subjects in this study are 28 fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Banyuajuh 3 Kamal.From the initial test results, the average learning outcomes of the students were 64,28, and the achievement of student learning completeness was 46.43%.In cycle 1, the average score and student learning increased to 73,92, and the achievement of student learning completeness was 60,71%.In cycle 2, the average learning score of the students was 86,78, and the achievement of student learning completeness was 85,71%.Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL learning model combined with the TaRL approach is capable of improving students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect size of ethnoscience-the based project-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a meta-analysis. Data sources come from 20 national and international journals published from 2015-2023.  The search for data sources comes from the google scholar journal database, Eric, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. The process of selecting data sources using the PRISMA method. Data collection techniques through direct observation and documentation through journal databases. The data analysis technique in this meta-analysis is quantitative statistical analysis with the help of the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) version 3.0 application. The results showed an average effect size of 0.827 with high criteria and a standard error of 0.088. This finding shows that the ethnoscience-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The traditional approach to mathematics education in elementary schools often fails to engage students fully and can lead to a lack of interest in the subject. Augmented Reality (AR) technology presents a novel opportunity to enhance learning by integrating interactive, immersive experiences that can make mathematics more engaging and understandable for young learners. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of AR-based educational games designed specifically for mathematics learning in elementary schools. The primary goal is to determine whether these games can improve students’ engagement and mathematical understanding compared to traditional teaching methods. A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 150 elementary school students from three schools. Participants were divided into a control group, which continued with the standard curriculum, and an experimental group, which used the AR-based games. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests to assess mathematical understanding, as well as student engagement surveys. The findings revealed that students in the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher levels of engagement and improved test scores in mathematics compared to the control group. The AR games were particularly effective in enhancing students’ abilities to solve problems and understand complex mathematical concepts. The use of AR-based educational games in mathematics education can significantly enhance student engagement and understanding of the subject. This study suggests that incorporating AR technologies into the elementary school curriculum could be a beneficial strategy to revitalize mathematics education and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of drum band extracurricular activities in developing students’ creativity and discipline at SDN Banyuajuh 3 Kamal. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with research subjects consisting of drum band students, the supervising teacher, and the drum band coach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that drum band activities make a significant contribution to the development of students’ creativity. Creativity grows through practice in arranging music, organizing marching formations, and developing new ideas for performances. In addition, these activities also play an important role in shaping student discipline. Discipline is instilled through routines of arriving on time, adhering to practice schedules and rules, and taking responsibility for the musical instruments used. Collaborative training also encourages the development of other character traits such as cooperation, responsibility, and self-confidence. Overall, drum band extracurricular activities not only serve as a medium for expressing interest in music but also as an effective means of character building, especially in fostering creativity and discipline among elementary school students.
