Abstract

Abstract : Male students who are addicted to smoking tend to be more comfortable with their male friends and rarely seen together with their female friends. The purpose of this study is 1) To identify smoking addiction behavior of SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru students. 2) To identify the overview of social relations with the opposite sex students who are addicted to smoking in SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The design of this study is based on quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this studywere all students included in the indicators of smoking addiction behavior. Smoking addiction behavior and social relations with the opposite questionnaire were used in this study. The results of this study showed that the behavior of the students who are addicted to smoking included in the medium category with students’ social relations with opposite sex who were included in the high category about six students and students who had smoking addiction behavior and social relations in the medium category about six students. The result proved that eventhough students have a smoking addiction behavior, they still have good social relations with their opposite sex. In other words, there is no influence between smoking addiction and the destruction of social relations between the opposite sex.Key Word : Behavior, Smoking Addiction, Social Relations With The Opposite Sex.

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon shows the much of students who play online games. Excessive students playing online games will make themselves addicted. Students who play these games online tend to have an emotional nature that affects themselves and others. One of the effects of online game addiction is declining learning achievement and anti social. The purpose of this research is 1) to know the description of online game addiction among students, 2) to know the description of the psychological condition of students who play online games. The population of this study is the students of class IX which consisting of 3 classes and the sample of this research as many as 28 students. The technique used is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. Instrument data collection using a questionnaire which is then analyzed by classifying the data and technique the percentage. The results of this study is the duration of playing time 3-4 hours in a day; where online game play at home; types of games favored by students namely Mobile Legend and Dota; students who are addicted to online games have health problems on the eyes and hands and make the motivation to learn to decline; social adjustment of students who make relationships become tenuous and ignore others. While the psychological condition of students who are addicted to online games about their feelings is happy to return home early; the angry emotion experienced by the respondent is generally irritable when a friend says rudely; sad emotions experienced by respondents generally are disappointed when the desire is not met, then the fear of emotion experienced by respondents who are anxious when going to the exam because of lack of learning.Keywords: Addiction of online game, Psychological condition

Abstract

Abstract: The phenomenon that occurs in the field shows the much of students who play online games. Online games can make a person become addicted. Students who play online games tend to have aggressive behavior such as rude said. The purpose of this research are: 1) to know the description of the students who are addicted to online game, and 2) to know the description of aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online game. The population of this study are students of class VII consisting of 7 classes. A sample of 65 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire which is then analyzed by grouping the data and calculating the percentage. The results of this study indicate the duration of addiction time online game is for 3-4 hours a day and ignore to other activity; where online game play is generally done is at home; the types of online games favored by students are Mobile Legends (ML) and Defense of the Ancients (DotA) 2; students who are addicted to online games have health problems like eye pain; psychological conditions experienced by students easily irritated; from the aspect of student learning constantly think of online games during learning; from the social adjustment aspects students ignore others. Whereas the aggressive behavior of students who are addicted to online games including physical aggression are exposed through a tendency to hit if hit by someone then it will retaliate with a harder blow; and commonly performed verbal aggression is to threaten by issuing harsh wordKeywords: Addiction of online games, Aggressive behavior

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the motivation of students to choose Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau which in the end will become university reference to create competitive advantage and to know and analyze student motivation to choose Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau.This research was descriptive quantitative.Where previously taken Sample using random sampling method. In this research will be seen the dominant encouragement of students choose Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. From this research, it is known that students motivation in choosing Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Universitas Riau is self drive 56,37%, because according to Talent and Interest owned by 19,59%, Parents encouragement equal to 11,46%, easy transportation Or close to 0,24%, since the cost of Lecture (financial ability) of 2.39%, and the Enviroment Enough (Master, Alumni and Friends) amounted to 9.24%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the phenomenon of addiction to play gadget among students. This study aims to 1. To determine the level of addiction to play gadgets in high school students before given conditioning aversi. 2. To know the level of addiction to play gadgets on high school students after being given aversi conditioning. 3. To know the difference in the level of addiction to play gadgets on the students before and after given the conditioning aversi. 4. To know the effect of aversion conditioning on addiction to play gadgets in high school students. The subjects of this study were students of class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 with certain criteria that is as many as 23 people. The instrument of this research is questionnaire that is processed based on addiction aspect of playing gadget that is as much as 25 item statement. The results showed that the calculation coefficient of determinant obtained r2 = 0.3922 = 0.15 which means there is 15% contribution of group guidance service by using aversi conditioning technique to addicted to play gadget at student class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru while 85% more influenced by other factors. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that 1. Level of addiction to play gadgets on high school students before being given treatment mostly included in the high category. 2. Level of addiction to play gadgets on high school students after being given treatment mostly included in the low category. 3. There is a difference between the level of addiction to play gadgets on the students before the treatment is mostly in the high and medium category but after being given treatment, the level of addiction to play the student gadget mostly in the low category.4. The influence of group counseling services using aversion conditioning techniques on addiction to playing gadgets in high school students is low. Key Word : Conditioning Aversi, Gadget Play Addiction

Abstract

Succeding of school organization in reaching target determined by leadership of the headmaster on powered potency of school personal. One of them is potency of school officer. This research target to know the headmaster leadership in order to enableness of school officer. And this research used descriptive methode in which explained how headmaster leadership in powered of school officer. Unit analyzes is a headmaster and school officer of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Data gathering technique by holding interview with headmaster and school officer. The result of this research indicated that application of empowerment by influencing, moving and motivating. There are many strategies that used by the headmaster in powerment school officer, there are ; entangling the school officer in doing school program, executing supervision, entangling school officer in committee, giving reinforcement, giving opportunity in servicetraining, inculcating togetherness culture, and also create the atmosphere which conducive by equipping facilities create the clean and fresh environment.

Abstract

Abstract: Self esteem is an evaluation of an individual done by themselves which can be either positive or negative. People with positive self esteem has good social interaction whereas those with negative self esteem lack in this department. As for parent’s role in the development of teenager’s self esteem, a family has an important role in developing a child’s personality. This research aims to find out a student’s self esteem and their social interactions in regards of the education levels of the parents. As for the indicators of self esteem include self respect/appreciation and appreciation from others. The indicators of social interactions involve cooperation, adjustment, competition, and communication. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the result of the research with 121 students of SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru as the sample, it can be seen that the student’s self esteem in regards of the education levels of the parents is categorized as high coming from those with elementary school level which is 80%. The student’s social interactions in regards of the education levels of the parents of the SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru students are categorized as high as well, coming from those with elementary school level which 100%.Key word : Self-Esteem, Social Interaction, Parental education level

Abstract

Abstract : Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a person’s ability to accept, manage and control the emotions of himself and the people around him. This emotional intelligence refers to the feelings of someone who makes someone inclined to act. Spritual Islam (Rohis) is an organization strengthening and deepening religios teaching. Rohis includes activities carried out outside of face-to-face lessons. Where students who follow extracurricular will be higher emotional intelligence than students who do not follow extracurricular activities. This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence include self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, emphaty and social skills. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of research that has been done on 30 subjects in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru note that the emotional intelligence is 56,67%. Where can be reviewwed from the highest indicator include, motivation, self-awareness, and self-regulation. This means that students who have high emotional intelligence they feel happy to follow the activities of Rohis, a little temperament, and have a strong desire to continue to improve performance.Keyword : Emotional Intelligence, Active Student Rohis.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations and discussions with counceling and guidence teachers in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru encountered the phenomenon: playing online games performed by students both male and female students. Online gaming is found almost all over the android and smartphone students. The intensity of playing the students' online games is different. From a class that has androin found at least 1 to 2 students who are addicted to playing online games on their handphones. There is also a saying that playing online games is as fun as playing with peers. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the students addicted to online games and the problems experienced by students addicted to online games in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the initial questionnaire was found that students who addicted to online games amounted to 33 students. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique that is sample with consideration. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: Addiction of online game among SMA is known more than half is in the aspect of salience, euphoria, conflict, and tolerance, almost half of students are in withdrawal and relapse and reinstatement aspects. Nearly half of students have Advanced Social and Education Relationship problems and the future, over a quarter of students have problems with the physical and health aspects, leisure, and careers and jobs.Keywords: Online Game Addiction, Student Problems

Abstract

Abstract : The phenomenon in schools today, both in public schools and private schools, many children fill their free time by smoking. Nowadays smoking behavior is a behavior that has been commonly encountered. Smokers come from various social classes, different statuses and various age groups. This might be because cigarettes can be easily obtained and obtained anywhere. The objectives of this study are: To find out the description of social relationships of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. To find out an overview of the confidence of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. To find out the relationship between social relations and self-confidence of students who smoke in MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru. Time of study in May 2018 in the 2017/2018 school year. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to 74 students. The study sample was 22 students. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that: communication and social contact (social contact) have a big contribution in supporting the social relations of students who smoke. various aspects support the improvement of self-confidence of students who smoke such as mental and physical conditions, adaptation and communication, family education background, life experience, etc. have a big contribution in supporting their self-confidence.Keywords: smoking, social interaction, self confidence.
