Abstract: The study is aimed at 1) finding out the description of students' personal problems including both male and female. 2) finding out the description of students' emotional problems including both male and female 3) finding out the description of students’ learning problems including both male and female. 4) finding out the description of students' familial problems including both male and female. 5) finding out the description of students' social problems including both male and female. 6) finding out the description of overall students' problems. 7) finding out the category of students' problems in general. The data dealing with student problem preferences based on personal, emotional, learning, familial, and social aspects were collected by using questionnaire. The subjects of the research are 200 students of State Elementary School 005 Baru Village, Siak Hulu Sub district whose choise were based on sex. The sampling technique is the total one. The research results showed that: 1) 60 moderate category male students (59%) and 55 moderate category female students (56%) experienced personal problems. 2) 97 moderate category male students (96%) and 91 moderate category female students (92%) experienced emotional problems. 3) 69 moderate category male students (68%) and 71 moderate category female students (72%) experienced learning problems. 4) 70 moderate category male students (69%) and 69 moderate category female students (70%) experienced familial problems. 5) 53 moderate category male students (52%) and 50 moderate category female students (51%) experienced social problems. 6) 97% male students and 91% female students experienced emotional problems, 70% male and 69% female students experienced familial problems, and 69% and 71% male and female students experienced learning problems. 7) In general, the problems experienced by male students and female students are emotional, familial and social in moderate category.Keywords: Problems of Students

Abstract: This study aims to determine the differences in the level of self-confidence before and after given the pantun reciprocated technique through group guidance and to know the effect of the pantun reciprocated technique to increase students' self-confidence. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru against 7 samples with purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of indicators of self-confidence. this study shows that there is a difference in self-confidence before and after given the pantun reciprocated technique through group guidance with a significance value of 0.018 <0.05. The confidence of 7 students who were previously in the low category experienced an increase after being given the pantun reciprocated technique through group guidance, some of which were in the high category. In addition, based on the Spearman rank test, it is known that there is a significant effect of the pantun reciprocated technique on students' self-confidence of 56.25% while 43.75% is influenced by other factors originating from within the student and from the student environment.Key Word: Pantun Reciprocated Technique, Self Confidence, Group Guidance

Abstrack: This research aims to know the differences of class speaking anxiety before and after the given role playing techniques through group guidance to reduce the anxiety of speaking in front of the class. This research was done in the SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru on 7 subjects with a purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. Data collection instruments used is the now the anxiety of speaking in front of the class is adapted from Nofrans (2009). The results showed that there is a difference in the thinking and after the given role playing techiniques with a value of significance 0,018 < 0,05. The influence of the techniques of acting against the anxiety of speaking infront of the class through the guidance of the group is 61,7% while 38,3% affected by other factors that originate from within and from the learners.Key Words : Role Playing, Speaking of Anxiety, The Guidance Group

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of Al-Qur'an letter Ali-Imran verse 139 therapy through group guidance services on the self concept. This research was conducted at Pekanbaru State High School 8 from January to February 2019. The research method used was a quantitative method with one group pretest-posttest experimental research. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPA 6 with a low level of self-concept (negative) totaling 7 people. The instrument of data collection used was a questionnaire using a modified Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Non Parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon Test and the Spearman Rank Test. The results of the study show of students' self-concept before being given Al-Qur'an therapy letter Ali-Imran verse 139 through group guidance services, which is in the low category (71.43%) and moderate (28.57%), after being given Al-Qur'an therapy letter Ali-Imran verse 139 through group guidance services was in the high category (57.15%) and very high (42.85%). Based on the Wilcoxon Test there are significant differences in students' self-concept before and after Al-Qur'an therapy letter Ali-Imran verse 139 through group guidance services Based on the Spearman Rank Test it can be concluded that the relationship of Al-Qur'an therapy letter Ali-Imran verse 139 through group guidance services with self-concept of students in the high category 0.901 or 90%. Next to find out the following seabgai detemination coefficient: (rs)2 = (0.901)2 = 0.81. This means that the influence of Al-Qur'an letter Ali-Imran verse 139 therapy through group guidance services to improve students' self-concept is 81% while 19% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of self management techniques on gadget addiction behavior of students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using the research design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of measurement of gadget addiction behavior which consists of 50 items before the validity, and after divalidity there are 41 valid items obtained with validity of 0.560 and reliability of 0.934. The subjects of this study were 7 students of SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru who were identified as having high levels of addictive gadget behavior. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in gadget addiction behavior scores before and after being given treatment in the form of self management techniques. From the results of Rank Spearman test obtained r = 0.821 while the correlation coefficient r2 = 0.67. Thus there is the effect of self management techniques on student gadget addiction behavior by 67% at SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Self management, gadget addiction behavior of students SMK

Abstract: The aimed of this study was to determine the differences in positive thinking before and after applying Al-Fatihah Reflection Therapy (ART) and to know the effect of Al-Fatihah Reflection Therapy (ART) to improve students' positive thinking. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on 8 subjects with a purposive sampling technique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. The data collection used is a positive thinking questionnaire adapted from Albrecht (1994). The results showed that there were differences in the way students thought before and after being given Al-Fatihah refection therapy (ART) with a significance value of 0.012 <0.05. In addition, based on the Spearman rank test seen that there is a significant effect between Al-Fatihah reflection therapy (ART) on positive thinking of students with a significance value of 0.039 <0.05. The effect of ART reflection on students' positive thinking was 52.27% while 47.73% was influenced by other factors that came from within and from the student's environment. From the results obtained, it is recommended that educational institutions should continue to carry out activities that can improve the IMTAQ process such as relaxation, dzikir or religious teaching / learning to encourage the development of more positive thoughts, perceptions, insights and attitudes.Key Words: Al-Fatihah Reflection Therapy (ART), Group Guidance, Positive Thinking

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of assertive training techniques to improve the maturity of social relations of class X students of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru for 3 months. This type of research uses quantitative research with an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the social relations maturity measurement scale which consists of 81 items before the validity, and after divalidity there are 47 valid items with validity of 0.344 and reliability of 0.925. Determination of the subject using purporsive sampling technique, and get the subject of 7 grade X students of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru who identified as having a low level of social relations mortality. The data analysis technique used is the non parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon analysis test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailead) is 0.018. Because the value of 0.018 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". To that end, it can be concluded that there are differences in the maturity score of social relations before and after treatment in the form of assertive training techniques. The difference between the mean Pre-test and Post-test was 94.85. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that the assertive training technique can improve the maturity of social relations of class X students of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. Abstract: This research aims to see the effect of group counseling on the discipline of learning students class X SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2013/2014. The method used is Quasi experiment with pattern on One group: One group pre test and post test design. This research using a sample of 10 students with Sampling Purposive sampling technique, group counseling is used as one way to improve student learning through discipline several times treatments. The hypothesis presented in this study is there is a difference in student learning discipline before and after group counseling service provided at level 5% error and a 95% confidence level. From the results of the processing of used test results of correlation of two variables retrieved group counseling activities that contribute to the improvement of student learning discipline of 45 %. Based on the results of data processing then it can be concluded that the group counseling activities well prepared asquite effective intervention techniques to enhance student learning in school discipline. Next searchers recommend to the supervisor teacher or counselor in order to carry out activities not only against the group counseling of students of class X but also to grade XI and XII in order to improve student learning discipline. Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of dzikir therapy to reduce students' liver disease through group guidance services at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was a measurement scale for liver disease students consisting of 52 items before validation, and after validation obtained a valid item number of 35 items with a validity value of 0.507 and reliability of 0.835. The subjects of this study were 7 students who were identified as having high levels of liver disease. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Rank Spearman test. The results of the study proved the research hypothesis was accepted. For that from the Spearman Rank test results obtained Sig (2-tailed) of 0.017, r= 0,714 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0,509. Thus there is the effect of dzikir therapy on students' liver disease by 51% in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. From the Wilcoxon test results obtained (Asymp.Sig) 0.018 <0.05 it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of liver disease students before and after being given dzikir therapy.Key Words: Dzikir Therapy, Liver Disease,Group Guidance

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of relaxation techniques on academic anxiety in the 8th semester students of the Counseling Study Program through group counseling at the University of Riau. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method using the research design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The measuring instrument used in this study is the academic anxiety scale consisting of 50 items before the validity, and after the validity is obtained valid items number 32 items with validity of 0,531 and reliability of 0,890. The subjects of this study were 7 students in the 8th semester of the Guidance Counseling Study Program who were identified as having academic anxiety. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical techniques using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in behavior scores off task before and after being given treatment in the form of relaxation techniques. From the results of the spearmen rank test it was obtained 0.008 while the correlation coefficient of was 0.883, thus there was an effect of 78% on academic anxiety of 8th semester students in the Counseling Study Program through group counseling at the University of Riau.Key Words: Relaxation, Students Academic Anxiety
