Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar dan soal tes berbasis online yang valid dan efektif. Selanjutnya akan digunakan untuk mempersiapkan Siswa menghadapi Ujian berbasis Komputer. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan Dick & Carey. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran oleh ahli, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket kesiapan siswa, dan tes prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika valid dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian berbasis komputer dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Skor penilaian bahan ajar dan tes prestasi belajar oleh ahli pertama sebesar 107, 84 dan skor penilaian oleh ahli kedua sebesar 108, 84 dengan kategori baik untuk masing-masing bahan ajar. Rata-rata skor kesiapan siswa sebesar 83,3 dengan kategori baik. Rata-rata nilai tes restasi belajar siswa kelas sebesar 75,5 dan 75 dengan kategori baik. dan 81% siswa memenuhi nilai KKM.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning barriers of epistemology in the matter of circle at Madrasah Tsanawiyah level such as relationship of center angle and circumference, arc length and segment of circle. These learning barriers were found based on data obtained from students in the class who had received the previous circle material then planned to create a proper didactic design. This research aims to develop didactic design on the circle material at Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. This research was conducted in MTs Salafiyah Cirebon City in grade 8 as many as 27 respondents by using descriptive qualitative method. The didactic design was developed through 3 stages, ie didactic situation analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The result of this research is early didactic design, hypotetic learning trajectory, learning obstacle test result, learning obstacle post-implementation, and didactic empirical design. The early didactic design still needs to be revised to address the LO experienced by the students so that it becomes a more perfect empirical didactic design.

Abstract

AbstrakMelalui studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti di MTs Negeri Luragung-Kuningan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum optimal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa karena pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru. Sedangkan kemampuan penalaran matematika memerlukan pembelajaran yang mampu mengakomodasi proses berpikir, bernalar, sikap kritis siswa dan bertanya. Oleh karena itu, guru harus menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematikanya. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran generatif.Strategi pembelajaran generatif besar kemungkinannya dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam pembelajaran ini siswa tidak lagi jadi pendengar, siswa dituntut untuk aktif mengintegrasikan pengetahuan baru dengan menggunakan pengetahuan yang sudah dimiliki siswa sebelumnya.Key words : Pembelajaran Generatif, Strategi Pembelajaran, Penalaran Matematika

Abstract

Mathematics is a lesson that many students do not like, so to change it all required interactive teaching materials that can foster student self-reliance. The purpose of this research is to know whether there is influence of response of the use of mathematics material supplement comic to student self-reliance. The method used in this research is descriptive statistical method with research design The One-Shot Case Study Design. The result of hypothesis obtained Fcount = 17,198 and Ftable = 3,14 based on Ha hypothesis criteria. Keywords: Teaching Materials, Comic Mathematics, Independence.

Abstract

Mathematics is not only as science that emphasize the cognitive ability, moreover in the attitude establishment and good behavior, while in learning mathematics teacher usually, only emphasizes cognitive ability and teacher seldom to pay attention about students’ so character is still low, on of them is students’ democratic character. Students’ democratic character is still low, it can be showed that they don’t ask to understand the lesson. So, it is needed the effort to improve studnts’ democratic character, that is implementation of Islamic Integration Model in liearning mathematics. The fuction of research are 1) to find out the students’ democratic character by using Islamic integration model in learning mathematics. 2) to find out the students’ democratic character without using Islamic integration model in learning mathematics. 3) to find out the implementation the Islamic integration model in learning mathematic on students’ democratic character better than the convensional model in learning mathematic. Variabel of this research is students’ democratic character, especially in learning mathematics with the theme tangent circle. The research method used is a quantitative method by using quasi eksperimental design. Techniques of collecting data of this research are attitude scale, observation, and interview. Population in this research is the eighth grade students’ of MTs NU Putri 3Buntet Pesantren Cirebon Year 2014/2015 about 213 students. Sampel of the research is cluster random sampling, it can be done by choosing group of two class that is grade of VIII D as experimental class and grade of VIII E as control class. The analyisis data is using descriptive statistic and inferensia statistic. The result of this research can be concluded that 1) students’ democratic character in experimental class when learning mathematics by using Islamic integration model in the good categorization is showed by number of attitude scala is about 83%; 2) students’ democratic character in control class when learning mathematics without by using Islamic integration model in the good categorization is showed by number of attitude scala is about 68%; 3) descriptively, students’ democratic characterexperimental classtend to be higher than control class, but thestatistical result not significant because the score of significant about 0,06. It shows not different of students’ democratic character learning mathematic by using Islamic integration model and conventional model significant standard  =  5%.Key words        : Islamic Integration, Democratic Character

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran merupakan penentu apakah siswa dapat memahami atau tidak tentang materi yang disampaikan. Khususnya dalam bidang matematika, cara mengajar yang diterapkan guru matematika saat ini cenderung kurang kreatif, variatif, dan korektif sehingga, sebagian besar siswa hanya sekedar tahu tentang suatu hal tanpa memahaminya. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan metode student facilitator and explaining dengan metode peer teaching pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Rajagaluh. Populasi terjangkaunya adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 306 dan sampelnya adalah kelas VIII C yang diterapkan metode peer teaching dan VIII H yang diterapkan metode student facilitator and explaining. Pengambilan sampel ini dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Data hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai rata – rata pemahaman matematika siswa yang diterapkan metode student facilitator and explaining pada saat pre test adalah 23,25 sedangkan pada saat pos test adalah 60,08 dengan N-Gain sebesar 49,28. Nilai rata – rata pemahaman matematika siswa yang diterapkan metode peer teaching pada saat pre test adalah 38,03 sedangkan pada saat pos test adalah 72,71 dengan N-Gain sebesar 58,97. Respon siswa terhadap metode student facilitator and explaining dengan metode peer teaching yaitu 73%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji Mann Whitney (uji non parametric), hasil Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) 0,091. Karena nilai Sig 0,091 > 0,05 maka hasil ujinya Ho diterima, artinya tidak ada perbedaan pemahaman matematika siswa antara yang menerapkan metode student facilitator and explaining  dengan yang menerapkan metode peer teaching.  Kata kunci : Student Facilitator an Explaining, Peer Teaching, dan Pemahaman

Abstract

Buyung dance is rarely displayed and has begun to be unknown to the public. Also, children, today prefer foreign culture and dance. As a result, the existence of Buyung dance is only limited to recognition, without the benefits that can be felt. The absence of written guidelines in each of the Buyung dance movements is very interesting for researchers to analyze the relationship of the Buyung dance movements with mathematics. This type of research used in this study is qualitative research. In qualitative research, the instrument is the researcher himself and cannot be replaced by others. Data collection techniques used in this study through the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Every hand movement of the dancers and movements between dancers to one another makes the movements of the dances neat and attractive following the Frieze Group, with four frieze patterns found in the dances of the pitchers.

Abstract

Batik as an Indonesian national identity has contributed greatly to the Indonesian economy. However, the value of exports and other economic potentials are not supported by the number of batik, especially batik artisans in the village Trusmi. Trusmi batik artisans in the village is a craftsman who has been there all the time and remain there for generations. The phenomenon that occurs in the craft of batik Trusmi analyzed with mathematical modeling approach, in this case the dynamical system. From the resulting system of differential equations, then analyzed the stability around the critical point. From the resulting model, gained two critical points. The first critical point is a condition where there is no proficient craftmen (not expected), whereas at the second critical point is the potential of batik craftmen and proficient craftmen mutually exist, or in other words batik will still exist. From the results of numerical simulation, if , then batik Trusmi will still exist. However, if , then the number of proficient craftmen would quickly dwindle and slowly batik will be extinct.Key Words : dinamical system, critical points, stability

Abstract

The integration of art into mathematics is currently still carried out by paying attention to the aesthetic value of student projects. However, its use has not been found to expand artistic or cultural values knowledge. This study aims to conduct a study related to the integration of batik art in mathematics learning on the topic of circles in elementary schools, where batik art contains not only aesthetic meaning but also cultural values and is the identity of the Indonesian nation. This research is focused on content design, the use of methods, and their effect on learning outcomes. The integration of batik art in learning is carried out to support the development of STEAM-based learning. This study used a quasi-experimental method using the design of One group posttest only with multiple substantive posttests, which was carried out in 2 different elementary schools in grade 6 with a sample of 41 students consisting of 28 female students and 13 male students. Experimental learning uses circular batik motifs as an art aspect and project-based learning (PjBL) as a learning method. Data collection was carried out using three instruments: a final student ability test, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show an increase in student learning outcomes, reducing students' anxiety levels in learning, increasing student activity, and providing alternative solutions for implementing fine arts in learning, especially mathematics, on the topic of circles at elementary school. This research is expected to provide benefits of knowledge related to how art or culture can be instilled simultaneously with lessons, especially mathematics learning for educators.
