Abstract

The culinary sector plays a significant role in the tourism industry and serves as one of the key drivers of economic growth. In an increasingly competitive business landscape, prioritizing customer satisfaction is crucial for businesses to retain and foster customer loyalty. This research aims to determine the influence of location, product quality, and service quality on customer satisfaction. Method used in this research is quantitative, employing a survey approach with 120 respondents. The research results indicate a t-statistic significance value for Location < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that location has positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Subsequently, the t-statistic significance value for Product Quality < 0.05 suggests that product quality also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. However, the t-statistic significance value for Service Quality > 0.05 indicates that service quality does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Based on the aforementioned, it can be concluded that Hypotheses 1 and 2 of this study are accepted, and Hypothesis 3 is rejected. These findings imply that restaurants need to pay attention to strategic location and good product quality, with the aim of creating customer satisfaction that can strengthen business sustainability in the culinary sector.

Abstract

The hospitality industry depends on employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB) to remain competitive, yet prior studies offer fragmented insights into its drivers, dimensions, benefits, and challenges. This study conducts a systematic review of 64 articles (2019–2024) from Scopus and Web of Science using the PRISMA approach. Results show that organizational support, creativity, leadership styles, knowledge sharing, and motivation foster IWB in hotels, with dimensions covering idea generation, promotion, development, and implementation. IWB enhances performance, customer satisfaction, and competitiveness but faces challenges such as limited resources, leadership constraints, and high turnover. This study integrates recent evidence to provide a comprehensive understanding of IWB and practical implications for managers, policymakers, and researchers.

Abstract

Organizational behavior training constitutes one of the pivotal approaches in enhancing the quality of learning for Vocational High School (SMK) teachers. The primary issue identified was the insufficient understanding among teachers regarding the significance of organizational behavior in creating an effective learning environment. Through this training, teachers are equipped to comprehend group dynamics, effective communication, and leadership that can influence the classroom learning atmosphere. Consequently, organizational behavior training for SMK teachers represents a crucial step in efforts to improve learning quality. This training aims to enhance teachers' organizational behavioral competencies, thereby improving learning quality. This Community Service activity for 2025 is designed to enhance organizational behavior understanding among teachers at SMK Yadika Bangil Pasuruan, enabling material delivery to be conducted in a more structured manner and relevant to industrial needs. The implementation methodology in this Community Service activity comprises material presentation methods and practical/mentoring approaches. The outcomes of this service include enhanced teacher capacity in making appropriate learning decisions based on student needs, as well as promoting the creation of more effective, contextual teaching and learning processes oriented toward the work readiness of SMK Yadika Bangil graduates. Consequently, an improvement in learning quality within the vocational school environment is anticipated.

The population of this study was all employees of PT Penamas Nusaprima located in Malang City, totaling 215 employees, and based on the Slovin formula used, the sample in this study was 140 employees. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory research approach using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis techniques. The bootstrapping technique tests the hypothesis after the validity and reliability tests are carried out using an algorithmic approach. The results showed that quality work of life, employee empowerment, and career development, each have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and it was found that work engagement acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between career development, employee empowerment, and quality work of life on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Digital transformation demands greater innovation capacity in public sector organizations. The rapid development of digital technology and the increasing complexity of public service demands require police organizations to adapt through stronger innovation capabilities, digital readiness, and supportive leadership. However, continues to face challenges such as uneven digital skills, weak dissemination of digital training outcomes, hierarchical barriers, and limited motivation toward innovation. These conditions indicate the need for leadership that is capable of inspiring change and fostering an innovative climate. This study examines the effect of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior with digital competence and digital culture as mediating variables. This study employs a quantitative research method. Using transformational leadership theory, Kurt Lewin’s Change Theory, and Expectancy Theory. The research also addresses the inconsistency of previous findings regarding the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results are expected to demonstrate that transformational leadership positively influences innovative work behavior, both directly and indirectly, through digital competence and digital culture. This study contributes theoretically to human resource management literature and provides practical insights for police organizations seeking to strengthen innovation and digital transformation.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the direct and indirect impact of transformational leadership and quality of work life on organizational citizenship behavior OCB, with work motivation as a mediator. An explanatory method was adopted to examine the relationship between antecedent, mediator, and consequences, with seven hypotheses being tested. A total of 216 employees from the St. Regis Hotel in Bali were selected as the participants using a simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS, which included conducting validity and reliability tests through algorithm methods, followed by hypothesis testing using bootstrapping. The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership directly impacted OCB. When work motivation acts as a mediator, transformational leadership significantly affects OCB. While QWL did not directly affect increasing OCB, its relationship with OCB became significant when work motivation was introduced as a mediator.

Abstract

Background This study investigates the role of work engagement as a mediating mechanism in the relationship between work experience, work motivation, and employee performance within the context of energy transition at PT Paiton Operation and Maintenance Indonesia. Grounded in the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) framework, the study emphasizes that individual resources such as experience and motivation can enhance employee performance through the development of positive psychological engagement. Method This research employed an explanatory quantitative approach. Data were collected from 423 employees of PT Paiton Operation and Maintenance Indonesia using structured questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the direct and mediating relationships among work experience, work motivation, work engagement, and employee performance. Results The findings reveal that work experience and work motivation have significant positive effects on both work engagement and employee performance. In addition, work engagement significantly enhances employee performance and partially mediates the relationships between work experience, work motivation, and performance. These results demonstrate that employees with greater experience and stronger motivation are more likely to develop higher engagement, which subsequently improves performance outcomes. Conclusion This study extends the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) framework by confirming that employee performance is influenced not only by individual resources but also by the extent to which these resources are transformed into positive psychological states through work engagement. The findings underscore the strategic importance of fostering employee engagement to sustain performance in high-risk and energy transition organizational environments.
