Abstract

This study aims to examine Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy in reducing Self-Harm behavior in adolescents and to examine differences in Self-Harm behavior in adolescents regarding Big Five Personality Traits. This study's research sample was 200 students in X school aged 15-20. Six subjects who met the criteria were obtained after screening using the Self-Harm scale measurement and personality dimension assessment using the Big Five Personality Traits scale. The research was conducted using an experimental method. This research uses a Pre-experiment with one group pretest and posttest design method. This research instrument is the Self-Harm scale and Big Five Personality Traits. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxson Signed Rank Test statistical test and the Kruskall Wallis test. The results of the Wilcoxson Signed Rank Test showed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.027 <0.05, meaning that there are differences in pretest and post-test results after being given Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy behavior. This proves that Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy effectively reduces Self-Harm behavior in adolescents. Then, the Kruskall Wallis test results show an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.227 > 0.05. there is no significant difference in reducing Self-Harm behavior in adolescents with the personality types of openness, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique therapy to reduce anxiety in patients with hypertension and to determine whether there are differences in anxiety reduction based on the five dimensions of the Big Five personality. This study consisted of 6 subjects who met the research criteria after going through a screening process involving medical records, measuring anxiety using HARS, and assessing personality dimensions using the Big Five scale. SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy was given as an intervention to reduce anxiety in patients. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test to compare anxiety before and after the intervention. In addition, the Kruskal-Wallis Test was used to test the difference in anxiety between different personality groups. The results of the analysis showed that SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy was effective in reducing the anxiety of hypertensive patients. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant decrease in anxiety levels, with an average value of patient anxiety before intervention of 33.50 and after intervention of 23.00. This proves that SEFT therapy can reduce anxiety in patients. Meanwhile, the Kruskal Wallis Test showed no significant difference in anxiety reduction based on personality with a p-value (Asymp.Sig) of 0.303 > 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that although SEFT therapy can reduce anxiety in hypertensive patients, personality does not affect the response to this intervention

Abstract

The postpartum period is a transitional phase that can lead to a life crisis and increase the likelihood of postpartum depression (PPD) in some mothers. Symptoms include sadness, irritability, disturbed appetite, insomnia, and exhaustion. Family support, especially through communication, can help reduce the risk of PPD. Additionally, an individual's personality plays a role in coping with postpartum challenges, as explained by the Big Five Personality Traits Theory, which classifies personality into five dimensions: neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, conscientiousness, and agreeableness. This study aims to examine the relationship between family communication, the Big Five traits, and the tendency for PPD. A quantitative correlational approach was used, with questionnaires distributed to 60 subjects from four Midwifery Independent Practices. The results showed a significant negative correlation between family communication and the tendency for postpartum depression (t = -5.337, p = 0.000). This indicates that better family communication is associated with a lower likelihood of PPD. Additionally, significant differences were found in the Big Five dimensions in relation to PPD tendencies, with extraversion (t = -3.779, p = 0.000) and agreeableness showing strong correlations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and social support with burnout in Intelmob, as well as analyze between each independent variable (resilience and social support) and burnout in Intelmob. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design, on 86 East Java Intelmob personnel who were selected through a saturation sampling technique. The data was gathered by use of a Likert scale.. The study tools included a burnout scale, a resilience scale, and a social support scale, all of which were evaluated for validity and reliability using SPSS 27.0 for Windows software. The data was then evaluated by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that resilience and social support had a significant negative relationship with burnout in Intelmob personnel. Which indicates that the higher the resilience and social support, the lower the burnout rate experienced. Where resilience helps individuals manage work stress, while social support plays a role in emotional protection. These two factors together account for 28.7% of the variability in burnout, whereas the remainder is affected by other variables. Intelmob employees' resilience and social support systems are key to lowering burnout rates; as a result, the company needs better policies and procedures to help employees' mental health and boost their productivity.
