Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar, kontribusi Internal Locus of Controll  terhadap hasil belajar, serta kontribusi sumber belajar dan Internal Locus of Controll  secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar.  Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional, populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas XI di SMK sebanyak 77. Penelitian ini menetapkan kelas XI TBSM 1 dan kelas  XI TBSM 2 sebagai sampel yaitu sebanyak 51 orang siswa, dan kelas Uji coba kelas XI TBSM 3. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner menggunakan Skala Likert, teknik analisis data diantaranya regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internal  locus of controll berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 33,41%; sumber belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 31,36% serta  sumber belajar dan internal  locus of controll berkontribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 40,83%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sumber belajar dan internal  locus of controll secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran simulasi komunikasi digital di SMK.

Abstract

Teaching the importance of personalized learning in educational technology courses encourages students to understand how tailored educational approaches can enhance learning outcomes. Diagnostic learning style testing, including visual, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK), and technology usage dimensions, has been widely recognized as an effective method for addressing diverse student needs. The purpose of this paper is to design an e-learning application with diagnostic learning style testing to enhance personalization in educational technology courses. This system evaluates learning styles based on five dimensions and uses diagnostic results to recommend personalized learning strategies. The application is implemented as a web-based platform, providing both theoretical insights and practical application. By utilizing this system, educators and learners can gain actionable insights into individual learning preferences, ensuring better alignment between teaching methods and student needs. Additionally, the e-learning application can be accessed via mobile devices, allowing for flexible and adaptive learning experiences anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Kepulauan Mentawai merupakan salah satu daerah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan, terluar) di Indonesia. Semua hal berpotensi menjadi kendala bagi penduduk yang tinggal di daerah 3T. Mulai dari transportasi, administrasi, akses informasi, ekonomi, kesehatan dan tidak terkecuali pendidikan. Kompleksitas permasalahan di daerah 3T seringkali berdampak buruk terhadap kualitas pendidikan, seperti ketersediaan sarana/prasarana, keterbatasan akses informasi, kualitas SDM, rendahnya budaya belajar dan bahkan ketersediaan tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas juga sulit ditemukan.Berdasarkan permasalahan sekolah calon mitra yang kami temui di lapangan, tim pengusul proposal pengabdian masyarakat merasa terpanggil untuk melakukan kegiatan PKM di SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai. Kegiatan PKM dirancang menhasilkan sebuah simulator system pengapian sepeda motor. Simulator system pengapian dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam PBM di SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai, selain itu tim pengabdi juga menargetkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dan siswa Jurusan TSM SMK N 1 Kepulauan Mentawai melalui proses pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka di kelas dan praktik di workshop.Dari hasil evaluasi pada fase post test diperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan dan kompetensi siswa terkait materi trouble shooting system pengapian sebesar 12-16%. Pengusul yakin jika metode praktik ini mampu dipertahankan maka akan sangat berdampak terhadap peningkatan kompetensi siswa secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tantangan dan peluang pendidikan kejuruan di Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Pendidikan dipercaya sebagai  salah satu alternative dalam mengatasi kemiskinan. Pemerintah telah menggalakkan wajib belajar pada masyarakatnya. Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga dipercaya sebagai salah satu departemen yang menghasilkan lulusan yang cerdas, kompetitif dan mandiri. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif analisis. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara di Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Alumni Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga berpeluang menjadi wirausahawan. Hal ini senada dengan tujuan Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. lulusan departemen ini dipersiapkan untuk membuka usaha di bidang busana. Tapi hal ini menjadi tantangan yang hebat bagi Departemen Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh manajemen kelas dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran pemeliharaan chasis sepeda motor kelas XI TBSM di SMK N 1 Talamau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 TALAMAU semester Juli- Desember periode 2023/2024. Seluruh siswa yang terdaftar dalam mata pelajaran tersebut adalah populasi penelitian, yaitu sebanyak 54 orang siswa. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI TBSM yang menjalani mata pelajaran Pemeliharaan Chasis Sepeda Motor periode 2023/2024. Kuesioner yang mengukur hasil belajar adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Metode untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan Manajemen kelas memberikan kontribusi sebesar 48,4% terhadap hasil belajar pada mata Pemeliharaan Chasis Sepeda Motor Kelas XI TBSM di SMK N 1 TALAMAU.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa Kelas X1 Minat belajar siswa yang masih rendah dan penggunaan media Kahoot dalam pembelajaran Masih jarang digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh media kahoot dalam meningkatkan minat belajar kelas XI TBSM di SMK N 1 Talamau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK N 1 TALAMAU semester Januari- Juni tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Seluruh siswa yang terdaftar dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah populasi penelitian, yaitu sebanyak 30 orang siswa. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI TBSM periode 2023/2024. Kuesioner yang mengukur hasil belajar adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Metode untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan Media Kahoot memberikan kontribusi sebesar 60,8% terhadap Minat Belajar Kelas XI TBSM di SMK N 1 TALAMAU.

Abstract

Research on evaluation instruments in Vocational High Schools (SMK) indicates a varied pattern. Nevertheless, there has been limited study and evaluation of the information provided in the research. This study seeks to examine research trends on the development of assessment instruments in SMK, based on published articles from 2019 to 2024, with a primary emphasis on the development of these instruments. The methodology employed is a literature review. This study involved a literature evaluation of 25 publications regarding developing assessment tools from various Indonesian journals, utilizing Publish or Perish and Google Scholar for data collection. The research indicated a decline in the number of studies addressing the creation of evaluation tools in vocational schools from 2019 to 2024. The R&D model is the predominant development model. Instruments for assessing knowledge are predominantly created. The creation of HOTS-based assessment tools exhibits a nearly equitable distribution. Moreover, the creation of evaluation tools predominantly lacks technological platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of ethical values in educational supervision using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the PRISMA method. Based on the analysis of 18 selected articles published between 2018-2024, several studies were found showing that ethical values, such as fairness, responsibility and transparency, play an important role in strengthening the effectiveness of educational supervision. The application of these ethical principles contributes to improving teachers' professional competence, building healthy relationships between supervisors and supervisees and creating an inclusive learning environment. Nonetheless, some challenges were identified, including the lack of clear ethical guidelines, limited training of supervisors and technical barriers in the implementation of technology to support supervision. This study emphasizes the importance of developing ethics-based supervision policies, intensive training and adequate technological infrastructure to support effective supervision. The results of this study provide practical insights for educational practitioners and researchers to strengthen the role of ethics in improving the quality of educational supervision.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop interactive learning modules that can help students in independent learning and are valid, practical, and effective. This research was carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) development research method with a 4D (four D) development model. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire used to measure validity and practicality. Meanwhile, to measure the effectiveness of using a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. The results showed that the interactive learning module was declared valid with a validity value of 0.88 based on the validation of three media validators and in terms of material validity it was declared valid with a value of 0.89 from two teachers who taught object oriented programming (OOP). The interactive learning module is stated to be very practical based on the responses of teachers and students. This shows that the interactive learning module is declared to be effectively used as one of the teaching materials in learning in improving student learning outcomes.Keywords: interactive learning module, object oriented programming, research and development. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v22i2.pp235-244

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Discovery Learning-based module in the subject of Maintenance of Engines and Light Vehicles, with a focus on Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) System Maintenance. The research involves module testing through expert assessment and limited trials with the participation of 30 students from the 11th grade of Light Vehicle Engineering. The module development follows the Plomp model, through the preliminary investigation and prototype phases. The preliminary investigation phase revealed a variety of teaching methods in Maintenance of Engines and Light Vehicles, including lectures and practicals, but their effectiveness was limited. The existing teaching materials were inadequate, unclear, and lacked comprehensive information. Interviews with students indicated difficulties in comprehending the concepts related to the subject. Therefore, the need for an engaging and informative module was identified. The module underwent validation by experts, including content specialists, educators, and graphic designers. The validation process resulted in high scores. Practicality evaluation was conducted gradually, involving small-group and large-group evaluations. The results showed a high level of practicality in terms of ease of use, time efficiency, and attractiveness for students. Further evaluation focused on module effectiveness. Pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to measure cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. The results demonstrated significant improvements in cognitive and psychomotor skills, as well as moderate improvements in affective aspects. These findings confirm that the Discovery Learning-based module effectively enhances students' learning outcomes in the subject of Maintenance of Engines and Light Vehicles, particularly concerning the EFI system. In conclusion, the developed module proves to be effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes in the subject of Maintenance of Engines and Light Vehicles, particularly in relation to the EFI system.
