Abstract

Someone is said to be superior when they have something that other people don't have, do something better than other people, or are able to do something that other people can't do and achieve something that other people can't achieve, and in this era full of competition like today, people use various ways to outperform others. Being superior it's prestigious, but having superiority achieved by violating morals and noble values is certainly not a commendable thing. In the midst of the moral crisis occurring in the general public, especially generation Z, such as; bullying, violence among teenagers, blurring of good and bad morals, dishonesty become commonplace, fanatical attitudes towards certain groups, low respect for parents and teachers, high levels of self-destructive behavior such as use of drugs, alcohol, gambling and free sex, bad language easily blurted out; cursing, scolding, ridicule, blasphemy, slander, swearing, without paying attention to other people's feelings, mutual suspicion, low level of concern, it is easy for hatred to arise between people. St. Yoseph High School Medan, one of the best schools in the city of Medan, is very sensitive to what is happening in society today, but is optimistic that it is not too late to improve it. Located in the St Yoseph Medan High School Hall, holding training in the form of seminars for Class XII students, aimed at broadening their knowledge about the importance of having personal integrity and good character that will lead them to become a superior generation, and not taking actions that can harm themselves, their families, the surrounding community, as well as the nation and state.

Abstract

Inmates are individuals who have made mistakes, requiring them to serve a sentence that entails the loss of freedom in the outside world and a life within a correctional facility. Consequently, inmates live isolated from society, family, and within limited surroundings. Feelings of guilt and shame arise due to their unlawful actions, and they must confront prison life with strict rules and high discipline, which becomes an additional burden for them and impacts their psychological well-being. Through the implementation of this PkM, it is hoped that inmates can build self-confidence, accept themselves, develop honesty, a strong work ethic, strive for self-improvement, and demonstrate integrity by exhibiting good behavior in life. Thus, when they eventually reintegrate into society, their environment will be more accepting of them. The purpose of the outreach program at Tanjung Gusta Detention Center is to help inmates become well-rounded individuals, devout, and responsible for themselves, their families, and society. The program's method involves direct, face-to-face counseling sessions that present material to female inmates. Through the counseling provided by lecturers from STIE Eka Prasetya, IBBI University, Labuhanbatu, and in collaboration with a pastor from the Parousia Christian Church, it is hoped that the character and morals of the inmates will be positively shaped developing honesty, responsibility, dignity, and integrity. The results of this community service show the enthusiasm and positive interaction of the inmates to increase their knowledge and awareness, as evidenced by their willingness to participate in the activities, allowing the program to proceed smoothly.

Abstract

By having a positive character, a person will feel his presence in the family, work, and community environment. Students who are the next generation of the nation are formed through the learning process from their families and the surrounding environment, including schools and educators with all their facilities. As educators, teachers are individuals who are sued and imitated, and they play an essential role in building the positive character of students. Child-friendly schools are the government's efforts to support the overall development of children to facilitate the achievement of educational goals and emphasize the importance of a conducive and supportive learning environment to build students' character values so that they have a positive character because they have a positive character is an advantage that is reflected in good nature and attitude, the ability to interact well with anyone, having strong morals, empathy, honesty, kindness, discipline, optimism, resilience, and good self-control. In supporting the government's efforts to create child-friendly schools, the Medan Catholic Education Council-Keusukan Agung has equipped teachers at the kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels, participated in child-friendly school seminars, with the theme "building a generation with the positive character through teachers with character", so that teachers realize that they must have a positive character. They can build their students with positive character Because a person's character will be formed through the learning process throughout his life, including in the school environment.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah kualitas pelayanan, harga dan promosi secara parsial dan bersamaan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Cava Indo Sukses Mandiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Metode deskriptif analisis dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta yang kemudian diusulkan dengan analisis. Untuk memperoleh data yang relevan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data yang di dapat adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh secara negatif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Cava Indo Sukses Mandiri. Variabel harga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Cava Indo Sukses Mandiri. Variabel promosi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Cava Indo Sukses Mandiri. Secara serempak, diperoleh hasil bahwa kualitas pelayanan (X1) harga (X2) dan promosi (X3) berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Cava Indo Sukses Mandiri. dari hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung untuk variabel kualitas pelayanan adalah 2.239. dan nilai ttabel adalah sebesar 1.988. Nilai thitung untuk variabel harga adalah-2.338 dan nilai ttabel adalah sebesar 1.988. Nilai thitung untuk variabel promosi adalah3.703 dan nilai ttabel adalah sebesar 1.988. Nilai Fhitung sebesar 10.290 dan nilai Ftabel adalah 3.13.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of promotional strategies through social media service quality and word of mouth on the decision to buy oppo cellphones in medan city. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods. Data analysis techniques use classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, f tests, t tests and coefficients of determination. The population used was taken from OPPO HP users in the city of Medan, while the sample used was taken from the formula of Hairs et al, namely the sample size specified was 21 x 5, which is 105, then the sample used was 105. The results showed that partially the promotion strategy through social media service quality and word of mouth influenced simultaneous purchasing decisions that promotion strategies through social media, service quality and word of mouth influenced purchasing decisions. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination of 0.539 means that the ability of the promotion strategy variable through social media, service quality and word of mouth explains its effect on the purchase decision variable of 53.9%. While the remaining 46.1% are other free variables that were not studied in this study such as price, brand image, consumer satisfaction and others.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the career readiness of Vocational High School (SMK) Accounting students in facing the disruption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The method used was an interactive workshop comprising material presentation, discussion, case studies, and Student Worksheets (LKS). The activity was carried out at SMK Swasta IRA Medan, with participants consisting of teachers and students from the Accounting department. Evaluation results through LKS and Q&A sessions indicated an increase in participants' understanding of the role of AI in accounting, as well as awareness of the importance of mastering hard skills such as accounting software and data literacy, and soft skills such as critical thinking, communication, and adaptability. It was concluded that this workshop successfully equipped participants with new perspectives and strategies to answer challenges and seize opportunities in the AI era. SMK Accounting graduates are encouraged to shift from the role of data entry to data supervisors and junior analysts.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dengan kompetensi sebagai variabel mediasi di Kantor Camat Patumbak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah masih adanya kesenjangan kinerja ASN, meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai program pelatihan dan pembinaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian diharapkan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi dan kinerja ASN. Selain itu, kompetensi berperan sebagai variabel mediasi dalam hubungan antara pelatihan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja ASN. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor publik, serta manfaat praktis bagi Pemerintah Kecamatan Patumbak dalam merancang strategi peningkatan kinerja ASN melalui pelatihan, motivasi, dan penguatan kompetensi

Abstract

Introduction. The VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) poses substantial challenges to the professionalism of educators and educational personnel, which can no longer depend solely on technical competencies, formal regulations, and structural supervision. These conditions necessitate a form of professionalism grounded in internal awareness, character resilience, and a clear value orientation. T Purpose. This article aims to conceptually examine the role of sense of belonging and positive character as fundamental foundations in fostering educator professionalism within the educational sector in the context of the VUCA era. Method. Using a conceptual framework and systematic literature review, the study explores how educators' psychological attachment to institutional values, vision, and identity contributes to the internalization of positive character traits, including integrity, responsibility, commitment, and exemplary conduct. Result and discussion. Sense of belonging is conceptualized as a psychological mechanism that enhances the consistency of educators' professional behavior amid policy uncertainty, role complexity, and ambiguity in educational practice. The analysis indicates that value- and character-based professionalism demonstrates greater sustainability and adaptability than professionalism driven primarily by procedural compliance. Conclusion. This article implicitly argues that strengthening sense of belonging and positive character represents a strategic approach to developing adaptive, reflective, and meaningful educator professionalism in the VUCA era, with important implications for educational policy development and professional practice.

Abstract

Abstract, This study aims to analyse the effect of motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction on the work productivity of employees at PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari Kisaran. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach by testing the model empirically with multiple regression analysis techniques using SPSS software. The sampling method used was saturated sampling with data collection using an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. The population used in this study was all 89 employees working at PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The results of this study indicate that, partially, the variables of motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the work productivity of PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari Kisaran. In addition, simultaneously, the variables of motivation, work discipline, and job satisfaction have a significant effect on the work productivity of PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari Kisaran. The research results provide suggestions and policy recommendations to improve motivation, enforce discipline fairly, and increase job satisfaction, thereby significantly increasing work productivity because employees work not only out of obligation but also out of willingness, awareness, and personal satisfaction. Metode penentuan sampel dengan sampel jenuh dengan metode pengmpulan data menggunakan distribusi kuesioner secara online menggunakan google form. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari yang berjumlah sebanyak 89 orang karyawan. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel motivasi, disiplin kerja, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari Kisaran. Selain itu, secara simultan variabel motivasi, disiplin kerja, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja PT. Panca Niaga Jaya Lestari Kisaran. Hasil penelitian memberikan saran dan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi, menegakkan disiplin secara adil dan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja maka produktivitas kerja akan meningkat secara signifikan karena karyawan bekerja bukan hanya kewajiban tetapi karena kemauan, kesadaran dan kepuasan pribadi. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the aspects of service quality at the Bandung restaurant Bakso Semar that have an impact on patron satisfaction. A sample of fifty respondents who had made purchases at Bandung restaurants was employed in this study. In this study, basic linear analysis along with quantitative analytic approaches were used. Validity, reliability, correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, outcomes of linear regression analysis, and determination tests were the statistical tests performed in this study. The results of validity and reliability tests demonstrated the validity and reliability of the research's questionnaire. The findings of the correlation coefficient test indicate a modest degree of link between customer satisfaction and service quality. It was discovered by the outcomes of the linear regression analysis that customer happiness is influenced by service quality. The findings of the determination test indicated that, of the variables included in this study, other factors affected the remaining 52.0% of the relationship between service quality and customer happiness.
