Abstract

Competition in the industry sector influences the companies to increase productivity in their production activities, such as production scheduling. Production scheduling consists of various aspects, those are amount of production, production costs, and the availability of raw materials production. The scope of operations research used in this study was Markov chains. The decision process was used in order to decide the amount of production demand, planning of raw material supply of Kinken products Cake & Bakery Kutoarjo. . The problem was how to use Markov chains in production scheduling and planning of bread raw materials, how was the optimal policy in planning raw materials supply by considering its scheduling production. This study aimed at finding out Markov chains steps to estimate the amount of products demand for the upcoming time period in order to obtain production scheduling and planning of bread raw materials, and to obtain the optimal policy in planning of raw material supply Results showed that a market share of total demand products every the upcoming two weeks period, the equilibrium market share in the 59th week period got production demand 0.7% of bread brownies, 12.7% of Nastro rolls bread, 63.1%, of Spc rolls bread, 2.6% Bansos rolls bread, and 22.3% of semicircle spongecake, meanwhile the optimal policy in planning of raw material supply was seen from the percentage of production demand those bread. The raw materials supply of flour, sugar, and eggs was saved 63.1% for (1) the Spc rolls production, (2) the semicircle spongecake, (3) the Nastro rolls, (4) the 2.6% for Bansos rolls, and (5) 0.7% for the brownies bread.

Abstract

The study aims to test the completeness Jigsaw cooperative learning assisted by problem cards for student’s mathematical creative thinking ability, to test the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students in Jigsaw cooperative learning assisted by problem cards compared with conventional learning, and analyze mathematical creative thinking abilities of students in Jigsaw cooperative learning assisted by problem cards observed from student’s learning motivation. The study uses mixed methods sequential explanatory design. Subjects in this study are six students of Junior High School in Semarang of class VIII B represent each group of learning motivation. Data collection methods used as follows: questionnaire, test, and interview. The result shows that: (1) student’s mathematical creative thinking ability in Jigsaw cooperative learning assisted by problem cards reaches learning completeness, (2) student’s mathematical creative thinking ability in Jigsaw cooperative learning assisted by problem cards higher than mathematical creative thinking ability in conventional learning, (3) student’s mathematical creative thinking ability observed from learning motivation are: (a) student with high learning motivation able to achieve all mathematical creative thinking ability indicators; (b) student with average learning motivation able to achieve fluency and elaboration indicators, but not achieve the flexibility and originality indicators; (c) student with low learning motivation less able to achieve fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration indicators.

Abstract

Thisstudy was based on the results of learning innovation research conducted in Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, Semarang State University. The expected goal is to develop or acquire a learning model mathematics course on ICT-based Operations Research. This study was done in order to utilize computer technology (laptop) that was shared by almost all students of the Department of Mathematics in order to reduce the difficulty of students to perform calculations that are many and complex.Research was conducted at the Laboratory of MathematicsUnneswhich also becomes the avenue of this subject. Implementation of learning by using the PBL approach (projectbased learning) based on ICT. The processed data was taken from the field (a real problem) which was further discussed and discussed in groups by utilizing the theory of operations research and facilities laptop and software that support it. The result of the discussion was presented in front of the class andeach step that has been done until the students reached their conclusion and interpretation. The results of the study concluded that (1) the form of the program to resolve the research operations problem was computer assisted program, and (2) the learning outcomes of operations research with project-based learning approach.

Abstract

This research was aimed to get the total composition of each Bandeng-product that must be produced, so that it can maximize the profit of Pabrik Olahan Bandeng Nirwana. The data that was gotten in this research were the primary and the secondary data. The result of calculation showed the optimal profit to the amount of 2.451.847,00 IDR by producing 85 units of Rolade, 27 units of Nugget Bulat, 30 units of Nugget Stick, 20 units of Bakso, 25 units of Sempolan, 70 units of Sempolan Crispy, 40 units of Otak-otak and 62 units of Tahu Bakso. The ratio profit calculation using Integer Linear Programming compared with the calculation by Pabrik Olahan Bandeng Nirwana was up 190.106,00 IDR. The showed the profit gotten by Integer Linear Programming method had been optimal

Abstract

 Potensi wisata yang begitu besar belum bisa dimanfaatkan oleh warga  sekitar karena kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang potensi wisata yang dimilikinya. Selain itu,kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat menjadi salah satu penghambat dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata yang ada. Masyarakat cenderung lebih memilih bekerja di pabrik daripada mengembangkan potensi wisata yang dinilai belum tentu keuntungannya. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberdayaan potensi wisata di Desa Gogik Kecamatan Ungaran Barat Kabupaten Semarang, antara lain (1) Pengembangan potensi wisata alam unggulan daerah Kabupaten Semarang yang mampu menarik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara ke Desa Gogik kecamatan Ungaran Barat(2) pemetaan potensi wisata dan fasilitas pendukung seperti papan informasi, petunjuk arah, pusat kuliner serta  factor lainnya., (3) publikasi wisata yang ada di gogik melalui pengembangan objek wisata dan media social. (4) Pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata (POKDARWIS); (5) Menjalin kemitraan dengan pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, industry (UKM), dan masyarakat luas. Berdasarkan Permasalahan dan solusi yang ditawarkan, Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki luaran sebagai berikut: Publikasi ilmiah di Jurnal/proseding, publikasi di media masa/cetak/elektronik, peningkatan  omset dibidang ekonomi, peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman masyarakat, peningkatan ketentraman/kenyamanan masyarakat. dan masyarakat dapat mandiri mengelola sumberdaya yang ada di Desa Gogik kecamatan Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Tim pelaksana pengabdi dipilih dari berbagai bidang ilmu yang relevan sehingga dapat menunjang terlaksananya program dan sudah memiliki pengalan dibidang penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sehingga program yang didudun dapat berjalan lancer dan sesuai target yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji mengenai media audio visual pada pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir matematis. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini ialah metode Literature Review. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasi semua artikel yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Artikel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 5 artikel yang merupakan jurnal yang berasal dari Google Scholar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Penggunaan media audio visual pada pembelajaran matematika memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir matematis. Pengaruh yang dihasilkan adalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis yang diteliti. Hasil yang diperoleh ini terjadi pada penggunaan media audio dan visual yang memang betul-betul menjadi treatment ataupun menjadi alat bantu proses pembelajaran saja. Penelitian yang beragam jenisnya tetap menunjukkn hasil yang sama yakni penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis subjek penelitian.

Abstract

Tujuan yang mendasari pelaksanaan penelitian adalah menguraikan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir secara kreatif pada pelajaran matematika selama pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dilengkapi dengan Dynamic Mathematics Software (DMS). Subjek penelitian ini adalah enam siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Salatiga yang dipilih berdasarkan self-efficacy mereka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, wawancara, angket, dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan data collection, data condensation, data display, dan conclusion drawing atau verifying. Penelitian ini akan mengidentifikasi bagaimana siswa memenuhi indikator fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Hasil dari penelitian siswa self-efficacy tinggi cenderung akan sanggup memenuhi seluruh atau empat indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Siswa self-efficacy sedang cenderung sanggup memenuhi tiga indikator saja. Sedangkan siswa self-efficacy rendah umumnya hanya dapat memenuhi dua indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Pembelajaran yang menarik seperti penerapan model PBL berbantuan dynamic mathematics software mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dari semua kelompok self-efficacy.

Abstract

The low of mathematical literacy is a worrying thing. It must be noticed that the literacy is an important ability that must be owned by students as future stakeholders. The objective of this study is to analyze the discovery learning - PMRI which effectively improve students' mathematical literacy. The type of research used was quantitative research, experimental research with quasi-experimental design nonrandomized control group, pretest – posttest design. The determination of control and experiment class was by using random sampling technique. The experimental class was treated in the form of discovery learning - PMRI while the control class is given discovery learning - scientific learning. The data were collected using mathematical literacy test, observation, and interview. The data from the data analysis of the final score of mathematical literacy, it is found that (1) the proportion of students in discovery learning-PMRI that fulfills the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning is 70, it reaches 70%; (2) the average of students’ mathematical literacy on discovery learning - PMRI is better than the average of students' mathematical literacy on discovery learning, and (3) The improvement of mathematics literacy of discovery learning class - PMRI is higher than discovery learning - scientific class . So it can be concluded that discovery learning – PMRI is effective in improving students' mathematical literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menggunakan Project Based Learning berpendekatan STEM ditinjau dari mathematical resilience. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method. Analisis kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji apakah Project Based Learning berpendekatan STEM mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Kemudian, analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari mathematical resilience dengan memilih 3 subjek menggunakan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih terdiri dari 1 orang dengan mathematical resilience rendah, 1 orang dengan mathematical resilience sedang, dan 1 orang dengan mathematical resilience tinggi. Setelah dilakukan uji t, diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu Project Based Learning berpendekatan STEM menunjukkan ketuntasan klasikal. Selanjutnya ditinjau dari mathematical resilience, secara umum siswa kategori mathematical resilience tinggi dapat memenuhi 4 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, siswa kategori mathematical resilience sedang dapat memenuhi 3 dari 4 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, dan siswa kategori mathematical resilience rendah dapat memenuhi 1 hingga 2 indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.

Abstract

E-modules are electronic teaching materials that are designed practically and systematically to help students learn independently. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity, and practicality of the mathematics e-module of System of Linear Equations in Three Variables material, as well as to determine the magnitude of the increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research was a research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The instruments in this study are learning implementation observation sheet, expert validation questionnaires and student response, list of interview questions, mathematical problem solving ability test questions, as well as documentation of research activities. The results showed that 1) media expert validation of 3.87 with very valid criteria and material expert validation of 3.71 with very valid criteria; 2) student response questionnaire of 3.26 with very practical criteria; and 3) the occurrence of an increase in students' mathematical problem solving ability by 0.49 with moderate criteria.
