Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the VN application on the motivation to learn poetry in class X students at SMA Negeri 7 North Luwu. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design (non design). The population in this study were students of SMA Negeri 7 North Luwu with selected samples from class X.1 of SMA Negeri 7 North Luwu. The assessment instruments used in this research are observation, documentation, and observation results test sheets. The data collection technique is by using documentation and tests. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of this research show that the use of the VN application can be used as a medium in learning Indonesian, especially reading and musicalizing poetry because it can provide efficiency in learning and effectiveness for students in demonstrating reading and musicalizing poetry, thereby increasing student learning motivation. This was obtained from processing the hypothesis. 2.378 is greater than the critical value of t (2.032), meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, the results of the hypothesis test show that using the VN application in editing videos of reading and musicalizing poetry significantly increases students' learning motivation compared to using the default smartphone editing application at SMA Negeri 7 North Luwu. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT Pada Siswa Kelas VI UPTD SDN 191 Barru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas, observasi yang telah dilakukan pada siswa kelas VI menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan mengenai hasil belajar siswa dan dari pengamatan ini diketahui bahwa penyebabnya adalah masih perlu model pembelajaran yang bervariasi digunakan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas VI UPTD SDN 191 Barru sebanyak 18 siswa yang terdiri atas 10 siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Prosedur pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yaitu siklus I, siklus II. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan selama 4 kali pertemuan. Hal ini didukung oleh data yang diperoleh dari data persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I hasil presentasi mencapai 38%, pada siklus II 50%. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan sebesar 12%. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dalam mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Siswa Kelas VI UPTD SDN 191 Barru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan media pembelajaran berupa gambar seri di kelas III UPTD SDN 191 Barru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan media gambar seri untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui pendekatan tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Media gambar seri, yang berisi gambar saling berkaitan, digunakan untuk membantu siswa memahami materi secara kronologis, menarik minat, dan memperkuat ingatan. Yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas III UPTD SDN 191 Barru sebanyak 24 siswa yang terdiri atas 16 siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Prosedur pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yaitu siklus I, siklus II. Setelah dilaksanakan dua kali tes siklus, banyak murid yang tuntas secara perorangan pada siklus I adalah 16 murid meningkat menjadi 23 murid pada siklus II. Pada siklus I ketidak tuntasan belajar murid ada 8 orang dan pada siklus ke II ketidak tuntasan belajar murid tersisa 1 orang. Dengan demikian penggunaan model media gambar seri sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran murid kelas III UPTD SDN 191 Barru.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of first-grade students in mathematics, particularly in solving addition word problems, through the implementation of the role-playing method at UPTD SDN 191 Barru. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted over three cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The findings reveal that the role-playing method significantly enhanced students' understanding of addition word problems, with the percentage of students meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) increasing from 60% in the pre-cycle to 96% in the third cycle. Additionally, this method boosted students’ motivation, participation, and ability to relate mathematical concepts to real-life situations. These results suggest that the role-playing method is an effective and engaging strategy for teaching mathematics at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran focusky Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa SMP Negeri 32 Makassar. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII D dengan jumlah siswa 16 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi dan tes. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik desktiptif dan statistik inferensial.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisa data mengenai perbandingan nilai statistic dan perbandingan kategori hasil belajar telah membuktikan terdapatnya pengaruh positif penggunaan media focusky terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 32 Makassar dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa melalui analisis statistik deskriptif sebelum menggunakan media focusky rata-rata nilai siswa masih dalam kategori interval rendah dan setelah menggunakan media focusky rata-rata nilai siswa berada pada kategori interval tinggi. Diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil Pretest yaitu 28,43 dan nilai rata-rata hasil Posttest yaitu 72,5 dimana nilai Posttest lebih besar dari nilai Pretest. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan rumus uji t, diketahui thitung yang diperoleh adalah 15,69 dengan frekuensi df= 16-1=15, pada taraf signifikan 0,05 atau 5% diperoleh ttabel adalah 1,753. Jadi thitung > ttabel atau H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Dari hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui media focusky dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas VII D siswa SMP Negeri 32 Makassar memberikan respon positif terhadap media pembelajaran tersebut.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to determine the form of aspects and components of language attitudes, as well as the factors that influence them at SMK Negeri 1 Pinrang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that aspects of language attitude include: loyalty and pride of teachers and students who are classified as positive, while aspects of awareness are positive for teachers and negative for students. In the language attitude component, the cognitive component of teachers is positive, but students are negative. Affective and conative components, both teachers and students show negative attitudes. The factors that influence language attitudes consist of internal factors (personal experience, personality, identity, and social cognition) and external factors (family, social environment, mass media, and technology). These findings indicate the need to increase language awareness and strengthen positive attitudes in language use in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the prototype, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of developing a Linktree-based learning media through a discovery learning approach to enhance reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research was conducted in KKM I, Makassar City, with Trial I implemented at MI At Taqwa and Trial II at MI Yaa Bunayya. The method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the Four-D development model. The results indicate that the Linktree-based media prototype presents content not only in textual form but also through instructional videos and historical videos relevant to the subject matter, supplemented by interactive quizzes to foster engaging and interactive learning. The media and content validation results fall into category D with a reliability value of 1 based on Gregory’s test. Media practicality is demonstrated by observation scores averaging 1.00, teacher response questionnaires averaging 0.93, and student response questionnaires averaging 0.99, with an overall practicality average of 0.97%. The media’s effectiveness is reflected in the improved reading comprehension scores: in Trial I, from 56–65 to 78, and in Trial II, from 69–80 to 80–96. These results confirm that the Linktree-based learning media through a discovery learning approach is more effective than conventional textbook-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Heutagogy approach based on Xmind Mapping in improving students' critical thinking skills in history subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Barru Regency. The research employed a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 70 tenth-grade students selected through cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were essay tests and observation sheets. The findings revealed a significant increase in the students’ average scores, from 31.92 in the pretest to 66.45 in the posttest. The Mann-Whitney statistical test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the approach had a significant effect on enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities. Therefore, the Heutagogy approach integrated with Xmind Mapping can be considered an effective strategy to improve the quality of history learning and foster students’ critical thinking skills.Keywords: Heutagogy, Xmind Mapping, Critical Thinking, History Learning, Senior High School

Abstract

Low reading interest among elementary students is a global concern that affects literacy development and academic performance. This study aimed to investigate how the application of constructivist learning theory, supported by environmental and cultural relevance, can enhance reading interest among fourth-grade students at Elementary School Unismuh Makassar. A Classroom Action Research (CAR) design was used, involving 30 fourth-grade students over two cycles. Each cycle followed the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were gathered through observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation to assess changes in reading interest and comprehension.The implementation of constructivist-based strategies increased the percentage of students who read regularly from 40% to 70%. Participation in group discussions rose from 60% to 85%, and reading comprehension improved, with 80% of students demonstrating a solid grasp of the material. Contextual materials based on students' local environment and culture played a significant role in fostering motivation.This study contributes to the field of education by demonstrating that constructivist learning, when adapted to local contexts and supported by culturally relevant materials, can significantly improve reading interest and comprehension offering a replicable model for literacy enhancement in similar educational settings worldwide.

Department of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar supervised by Andi Adam and Rahmatiah.The main problem of this study is whether there is an effect of implementing the Round Club learning model on the speaking skills of students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mandai, Makassar City. This study aims to describe the effect of the Round Club learning model on the speaking skills of fourth grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mandai, Makassar City.This type of research is a pre-experimental research in the form of Pretest Posttest Design, namely an experiment that in its implementation only involves one class as an experimental class without a comparison class (control class) which aims to determine the Effect of the Round Club Learning Model on the Speaking Skills of Fourth Grade Students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mandai, Makassar City. The subjects of this study were 23 fourth grade students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mandai, Makassar City.The results of the study showed that the learning outcomes of fourth grade students before the implementation of the Round Club learning model that was completed individually from 23 students were only 8 students or 34.78% who met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) or were in the low category. Classically it has not been met because the average pretest score is 62.6%. While when implementing the Round Club learning model that was completed individually from 23 students, there were 21 students or 91.30% who had met the KKM and classically it had been met, namely the average posttest score obtained was 85.2% which was categorized as high. This proves that there is an Influence of the Round Club Learning Model on Speaking Skills in Fourth Grade Students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Mandai, Makassar City.Keywords: Pre-Experiment, Round Club Model and Speaking Skills
