Abstract

The liaison book as a communication tool between parents and teachers, in the book the teacher provides information on child development to parents, and parents can also provide feedback in the form of child development when at home. However, the lack of resources as a classroom teacher does not allow them to be able to write down the development of a number of children in a class every day, which must be completed before the children return from school. From the results of the notes made on the connecting book, the teacher is required to provide a final semester evaluation in the form of a conclusion that each child is superior in two areas of intelligence. With the problems that arise, research is carried out by developing a system as a substitute for an Android-based link book that can be used as an assistant for writing a connecting book. In this study, several stages were carried out in its development. First, analysis and specification of requirements, planning, implementation, and testing are carried out. At the stage of analysis and specification of requirements produced 35 functional requirements. in the design in this study using use case diagrams, use case scenarios, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, and there is an algorithm design and database design. The development is implemented in Android studio using the Java language. The system testing process begins with unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing which produces a value of 93.02%. And testing the System Usability Scale with a score of 72.09 which can be categorized as good.

Abstract

Surat keterangan lulus uji kompetensi keahlian menjadi indikator guru SMK tersebut ahli dalam sebuah bidang kejuruan. Masalahnya tidak semua guru mendapatkan kesempatan mengikuti program/pelatihan baik yang diselenggarakan resmi pemerintah maupun swasta untuk meningkatkan penguasaan substansi keilmuan. Tim pelaksana pengabdian masyarakat dari prodi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif UM memberikan pelatihan khususnya bagi guru teknik otomotif di SMK tersebut dengan tujuan mentransfer pengetahuan terbaru terkait automotive advanced yaitu diesel common rail untuk meningkatkan penguasaan substansi keilmuan guru. Metode pelatihan meliputi survey lokasi, merumuskan materi pelatihan, membuat jadwal, menyiapkan alat, bahan dan instruktur pelatihan sampai dengan evaluasi. Pelatihan teori dan praktik diesel common rail terselenggara sesuai prokes, dan hasilnya terdapat peningkatan penguasaan substansi keilmuan guru dibuktikan dengan mean skor posttest (83,76) > mean skor pretest (76,17) dan perbedaan tersebut nyata Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 pada 0,05. Selain itu, dari penjelasan narasumber, guru mengetahui bagaimana mengajarkan diesel common rail ke siswa. Hasil pelatihan ini dilaporkan dan dipublikasikan melalui artikel dan media elektronik guna memenuhi target luaran program pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi diperoleh bahwa tidak banyak siswa yang lulus kompetensi perawatan system kontrol injeksi. Kompetensi kelistrikan memerlukan kemampuan mengidentikasi letak komponen kelistrikan, nama komponen, dan cara kerja sistem injeksi. Platform android dapat dipergunkan sebagai media pembelajaran sistem kontrol mesin injeksi yang berbasiskan augmented reality. Perkembangan pendidikan berubah seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini dan mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran. Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) menjadi tren di pendidikan dengan menggabungkan dunia digital dan dunia nyata, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan belajar mengajar. siswa yang memanfaatkan aplikasi AR berhasil menyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian adalah angket yang diisi oleh ahli, praktisi, dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Augmented reality di validasi oleh ahli media, ahli otomotif, guru dan siswa. Hasil validasi menujukkan AR valid dilihat dari aspek Tampilan, Pengetahuan, Kemudahan, dan Kelengkapan.

Abstract

The most significant football stadium riot tragedy occurred at the National Stadium (Estadio Nacional) in Lima, Peru, resulting in 362 fatalities. The second largest tragedy transpired at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang Regency, Indonesia, leading to 135 deaths. This research aims to evaluate the conformity of evacuation routes and fire protection systems at the one of Football Stadium in Greater Malang, in accordance with the standards and regulations applicable in Indonesia. This analytical descriptive study employs a quantitative research design. The research process involved examining the factual conditions on the ground and subsequently comparing the suitability of evacuation routes and fire protection systems against the standard benchmarks and regulations in place in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the conformity level of the evacuation routes, comprising emergency stairs, evacuation routes, safety signs, assembly points, and emergency exits, is at 61.9 percent, denoting adequate compliance. Conversely, the active fire protection systems, encompassing portable fire extinguishers (APAR), hydrants, fire alarms, fire detectors, and sprinklers, show 0 percent compliance, meaning no conformity exists. This study is anticipated to serve as a reference for enhancing evacuation routes and fire protection systems at Football Stadium X: stadium in Greater Malang.

Abstract

Saat ini mobil menjadi salah satu kendaraan yang paling banyak diminati di Indonesia. Karena dengan naik mobil, masyarakat merasa lebih aman dan nyaman. Kita tidak terkena panas dan hujan ketika sedang berada di dalam mobil. Mengingat jalanan di Indonesia yang masih belum memadai, maka faktor utama dari kenyamanan ialah suspensi mobil itu sendiri. Fungsi sistem suspensi adalah meredam getaran akibat kontur tidak beraturan, seperti gundukan kecepatan, jalan berlubang, dan jalan berbatu. Getaran yang diterima tubuh berulang kali dapat menimbulkan gangguan Kesehatan pada tubuh manusia. Penelitian Eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah adanya perbedaan modifikasi per custom pada suspensi type Machperson Strut terhadap gejala Whole Body Vibration dan kenyamanan pada pengemudi serta penumpang baris pertama di mobil low SUV. Dalam proses penelitiannya menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimental Design degan model Pretest dan Posttest Design untuk melihat perbedaan hasil pada sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan adanya perbedaan antara modifikasi per custom pada suspensi type macpherson strut terhadap gejala whole body vibration pada pengemudi dan penumpang baris pertama di mobil Low SUV dibuktikan dengan nilai t-test sebesar 0,000, kemudian terdapat perbedaan antara modifikasi per custom pada suspensi type macpherson strut terhadap tingkat kenyamanan pada pengemudi dan penumpang baris pertama di mobil Low SUV dibuktikan dengan nilai t-test sebesar 0,000. Dan getaran yang diterima pada pengemudi maupun penumpang baris pertama lebih sedikit ketika mobil sudah dilakukan modifikasi pada bagian pernya yaitu dengan hasil getaran yang diterima sebesar 0,3 m/s2 – 2,1 m/s2. Dibandingkan dengan suspensi standar getaran yang diterima sebesar 1,8 m/s2 – 3,9 m/s2.

Abstract

Based on data from the Indonesian National Police, there were 5,336 fire cases from May 2018 to July 2023. In October 2021 Hospital X experienced a fire in the Pharmacy Building. The easiest fire protection tool to use is light fire extinguisher. In order for workers to understand the use of light fire extinguisher, it is necessary to carry out training. Light fire extinguisher training can be carried out by providing digital flipbooks via WhatsApp. This study aims to determine the effect of digital flipbooks on fire extinguisher use behavior in X Hospital workers. The research method is True Experiment Design. The sample in this study were 44 workers and used total sampling. Data analysis in this study using the independent T test and Mann Whitney Test which obtained a Sig value. 0.000 less than 0.05 which means that there is an influence of digital flipbooks on knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the use of fire extinguishers. It is hoped that light fire extinguisher training will be carried out evenly to every worker in the hospital, if a fire occurs workers can extinguish the fire using light fire extinguisher.

Abstract

Graduates who are superior, competitive, and ready to work are the goals of vocational education. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of Teaching Factory (TEFA) implementation with the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model and student work readiness on the Occupational Future Time Perspective (OFTP). Indeed, nowadays, professional/vocational graduates must be ready to enter the industrial world after graduation. This research involved 456 respondents of Vocational High School (VHS) students in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, who were determined using a proportional random sampling technique. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using SEM AMOS. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the implementation of TEFA and the level of work readiness up to 57%, while the actual contribution of teaching and work readiness factors to future employment time was 80.7%. Overall, the results show that the implementation of TEFA has successfully helped students become more independent and ready to face the competitive world of work. Although 19.3 factors still influence work readiness and prospects, the research results do not change much. Therefore, the application of a teaching factory in the learning process is highly recommended for teachers and students in vocational schools. The implementation can be adjusted to the learning conditions and resources available in VHS. This research contributes as a source of reference in future studies related to improving practical learning and developing students' entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

Cak Na Tilapia Cultivation is a Trading Business Group that focuses on the management and cultivation of tilapia seeds. This group has a tilapia pond of 135 m2 and 72 m2 consisting of 9 plots and 4 fish pond plots. One pond can contain 1000-1500 tilapia seeds. The problems faced by partners are First, the large number of fish that die causes many buyers' orders to decrease because the fish die due to indications of fungus, causing losses due to low productivity. The objectives of this community service are (1) Producing appropriate technology in the form of a Fine Bubble Technology-Based Treatment Machine (2) Providing assistance on how to Automatically Treat fish that are indicated by fungal diseases, (3) Providing technical guidance on maintenance and repair of the filtration system. The method used is by designing technology, training and workshops. The results of community service activities are producing and implementing appropriate technology in the form of a Fine Bubble Technology-Based Treatment Machine in Jombang. This technology has been proven to be able to improve the quality of water in cultivation ponds, such as increasing dissolved oxygen levels and pH stability, which has a positive impact on the growth of Cak Na tilapia.

Abstract

Body position and posture are important components in carrying out activities because poor posture and other non-ergonomic elements will interfere with the focus and accuracy of workers which have an impact on production results. Based on observations and interviews with practitioners in the UM Mechanical Engineering Faculty Workshop, there are symptoms and feelings of fatigue in the body when carrying out practicum due to the duration of work for 4 hours and the target achievement of tasks that must be completed. Therefore, this assessment aims to provide an overview of student work postures that increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. The methods used in this observation and measurement were the Ovako Work Posture Analysis System (OWAS) and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). The results of the OWAS score analysis showed a value of 2 in postures 1 and 2 where this attitude is harmful to the musculoskeletal system, so it needs improvement in the future, and a value of 1 in posture 3 where this attitude does not need improvement. Meanwhile, the results of the RULA score analysis showed a value of 6 high categories in postures 1 and 2 which interpret further investigation, immediate changes, as well as a value of 4 medium categories in posture 3 which can interpret further investigation, changes may be needed. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a need to improve work postures by practitioners on tuning machines by changing work positions to ergonomic, stretching periodically, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
