Abstract

Futsal is a sport based on soccer, played by five player per team, uses smaller ball and mainly indoors. Due to many available options for futsal pitches in Malang city has caused somewhat a problem in choosing pitches based on people's interests in renting pitches. There are five factor which affects people's interest in choosing rental pitches such as price, promotions, facilities, and contact person availability. Therefore, the solution for this problem is to develop an Android based decision support system to recommend futsal pitches. System will recommend futsal pitches with TOPSIS method based on distance, price, and amount of facilities. Recommendation results also displays detailed information such as address, facilities, price, distance, operational time, contact person, and amount of pitches. The blackbox test results of the implemented system reach 100% score which all the functionality is valid. Then, algorithm validation test result for TOPSIS implementation and manual calculation also gave the same result. And last but not least, usability test result for the system reached 80 point from five respondent. Therefore, the system has grade B with user acceptance category as acceptable, grade scale level category as B, and adjective rating category as excellent.

Abstract

Natural disasters are conditions of events or natural activities that can cause some negative effects such as damage, loss, suffering and also pessological problems in humans. These natural disasters can occur due to nature itself or because of humans. Indonesia itself is a disaster-prone area so that natural disasters occur frequently in Indonesia. Because of the frequent natural disasters that occur in Indonesia, a disaster risk management system will be needed to handle assistance for natural disasters. One of the problems in the emergency response phase is the determination and selection of ineffective natural disaster emergency response facilities. Therefore, by utilizing geotagging technology, a mobile application can be designed to add location points to natural disaster emergency response facilities. So that users can find the location of natural disaster emergency response facilities easily and the coordinator of each location field can process data from each facility that will be added. By utilizing the Polylines algorithm, it can be used as a route search to get to the location of the facility. Polylines algorithm will provide route depiction and recommend the closest route from the user's location that has been calculated using Google Direction API to the location of the facility furthermore provide alternative routes that can be used by the user. Based on validation testing on the mobile application "Geotagging Fasilitas Tanggap Darurat Bencana Alam" it was found that the application had fulfilled functional requirements. Then the compatibility testing shows that the application can run without problems on three different devices with a percentage of 100%. In the usability test, a score of 77.5 is obtained so that the application is appropriate to use.

Abstract

The habit of people eating outside the home makes the culinary business develop rapidly. Various eating places are spreading everywhere with a variety of unique and modern menus. In Malang, various types of food stalls such as crushed-chicken and coffee shops are scattered around the campus. This makes people confused looking for places to eat because there are so many dining options. Emotional conditions are known to affect food choices. Positive moods and negative moods lead one to different food preferences. Based on the existing problem, a solution is provided, a mood-based culinary recommendation system in Android platform using a certainty factor algorithm to process suitable recommendation data. User can take selfie to recognize their emotion which will be processed into suitable culinary recommendation. Based on the result of validation testing using the black box testing method gave a grade of 100% where all functions run as expected. The usability test result was 83 and the rating was excellent and the accuracy test result was 79.4%.

Abstract

Dogs are one of the animals that are often found as pets. The interaction between humans and dogs has many health benefits such as helping reduce stress and making their owners have a more active lifestyle. However, the health of the pet itself must be considered. Dogs that are at risk of developing a disease have the effect of being able to transmit it to other pets or even humans, the condition becomes a little difficult if the new owner realizes that his dog is in an unhealthy condition outside working hours. The limited number of veterinary clinics that can handle patients outside of working hours makes dog owners must be able to provide early treatment immediately. To deal with the problems that arise, a system is needed to help diagnose dog disease by utilizing the Promethee method to help dog owners to detect early dog ​​diseases so that early treatment can be carried out immediately. The system is implemented using the Java programming language. There are 10 types of diseases with symptoms as many as 46. Based on the accuracy testing carried out, the average maximum accuracy is 98%.

Abstract

Solanum taberosum (Potatoes) is one of the staple foods of humans because it is one of the tubers that has a good content. The content of protein and carbohirat can be fairly balanced so it is good for health. Potato production in Indonesia experienced a 9.82% reduction in production, from 1,176,304 tons in 2009 and in 2010 to 1,060,805 tons. Potato production in 2009 also decreased by 16.51 tons / hectare to 15.95 tons / hectare. Potato cultivation so far has several obstacles such as diseases and pests. Late blight is a major disease in potato plants. This disease has a lot of genetic heterogeneity so that plants become vulnerable to broken. Losses caused are fairly high in potato plants, especially in weather with high humidity. One of the solutions to make this plant easy to develop is by using varieties that have genetic resistance to the P. infestans race found in wild potato species. However, the genetic utilization of wild potato plants cannot be used for the development of commercial potato plants because they have different genetic makeup. To reduce failures in potato cultivation, software technology is currently needed to help detect diseases early on potatoes in order to facilitate farmers in potato cultivation.

Abstract

Malang is a city that has a big tourist attraction in the province of East Java. Many typical handicrafts that can be made as souvenirs for people who visit this city. Previously there was a recommendation system in the selection of typical handicrafts in Malang, but recommendations were only for 1 user. Usually the visitors, tourists, students and Malang society often choose the place of souvenirs or handicrafts by discussing together. Therefore, it will develop a recommendation application using the GDSS approach that can help visitors, tourists, students and Malang society get a recommendation for a place of handicrafts typical of Malang that is done in groups. Therefore, developing a recommendation application using the GDSS approach can help visitors, tourists, students and society Malang get recommendations for the typical handicrafts of Malang that are done in groups. In this study using the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to sort the selection recommendations and Borda for the group voting method. This study was tested on 5 users and resulted in 74.5 of usability testing using the SUS questionnare and the results was in the acceptable category and included in the Good category.

Abstract

Water quality status classification for the community is divided into 2 classes namely those that meet the standards and do not meet the standards for consumption. The field of object classification research has been carried out, making it possible to create technology in the field of object classification with high accuracy. There are many classification methods, in this study discussing the comparison between K-Nearest-Neighbors (KNN) algorithm and Support vector machine (SVM). Research on the variables in the KNN and SVM algorithm to determine the best variable in classification. Testing is done by the K-Fold method with a value of K = 5 on a dataset of water quality status. Tests carried out to get the optimal parameter value KNN with K = 7 and SVM with value of the maximum iteration value = 300, = 10−12, 𝜎 = 0.07, 𝜆 = 3, 𝛾 = 1.7, and 𝐶 = 1. This research resulted in an accuracy of KNN of 88.94% and SVM of 87.71%. It was observed that the K-Nearest-Neighbors (KNN) algorithm had higher accuracy than the Support vector machine (SVM) algorithm.

Abstract

Martial arts are a method by which individuals can protect themselves from increased danger. There are several types of martial arts in Indonesia, both original Indonesian martial arts, namely pencak silat or various important martial arts from other countries such as karate, judo, taekwondo, and capoeira. Martial arts venues in Malang are scattered in several districts, along with the times of the type of martial arts are also increasingly diverse. With so many types and places of martial arts, it arises for people who want to practice to choose a martial arts place in accordance with their wishes. Application recommendations for martial arts practice sites have been built on previous research, but only for single users, whereas in reality the selection of martial arts practice sites is sometimes done not alone and done in groups. So we need an Android-based mobile application that can recommend martial arts practice sites in Malang that are in accordance with user criteria and are done in groups. Application recommendation for martial arts practice sites in Malang is designed with an Android-based Group Decision Support System and Location Based Services using TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) and Borda algorithms with criteria in the form of distance between users and martial arts practice sites, training costs in one month, and the amount of exercise time in one week. The results of testing the application using Blackbox are worth 100% and the functionality is declared valid. Other tests conducted are algorithm validation testing, where testing is done by comparing the outputs of the system with manual calculations. The results of the application output and manual calculations are 100%, and usability testing, where testing is done to determine the quality of the software interface. The application usability test results got a value of 73.5 indicating a Good rating for the adjective rating and grade B- on percentile rank, so it is stated that the application can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

Malang has the potential for beach tourism which can be one of the factors that can improve its own development and power. Previously, there was a recommendation system in determining beach tourism destinations but only limited to the use of 1 user. Therefore, a recommendation application development using the Group Decision Support System (GDSS) approach can be developed which can be used to help tourists who come in groups to determine their tourist destinations. The TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method is implemented to determine alternative tourism destination choices and Borda is used for group voting to determine group recommendations. Application development is done on an android basis using Location Based Service (LBS) so that it can adjust to the user's location to determine recommendations. This study discusses the analysis of user needs, design of system, design of algorithm, implementation of the system, test and evaluation of system. From the blackbox test we get a valid result where all functions can work well. In algorithm testing, the recommendations displayed by the system are the same as for manual calculations. Usability testing produces an average value of 75 of 5 respondents who were measured using the SUS method, so it's known that the system that built can be properly used by users.

Abstract

Malang has so many tourist attractions that could be visited each day, starting from nature tourism, education tourism, arts and culture, and many more. One of the tourist attractions that is interesting to be visited by the tourists is its shopping tourism. Malang has variety of shopping places that makes it so difficult for the tourists to choose one. It is proven by 43 respondents are claiming that each member of the group has their own preferences to choose a shopping place. This shopping recommendation system was developed on Android-based mobile devices because it has enough features, viz. Global Positioning System (GPS) and Google Maps. The algorithm used to get the group recommendation is TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method, which is used to get alternative ranking based on user's preferences and BORDA to get group voting. This system is tested with 3 different testings, viz. Black Box testing, algorithm validity testing and usability testing. The results of Black Box testing shows that the functionality of the system is 100% valid. The algorithm validity testing was done by comparing the results from the system and the manual calcultaion. The results of this testing shows that the algorithm used in the system is valid. The last testing for the system is the usability testing. It was done to know the user's perception of the system. The final result of this testing shows that the system is acceptable with the total average 77, grade C and categorized as good..
