Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan LKSberbasis word square tema pencemaran lingkungan yang telah dikembangkanuntuk digunakan di SMP/ MTs. Subjek penelitian dibagi menjadi dua kelompokyaitu kelompok skala kecil dan kelompok skala besar. Metode pengumpulan datamenggunakan metode dokumentasi, observasi, tes, dan angket. Berdasarkan hasilvalidasi dari pakar dan guru pada tahap I dan tahap II dinyatakan layak. Pada ujicoba skala kecil menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan siswa sebesar 82%, dan nilaihasil belajar siswa sebesar 93% siswa diatas KKM. Pada uji coba skala besartanggapan siswa sebesar 99%, hasil rata-rata observasi aktivitas siswa sebesar83%, dan nilai hasil belajar siswa pada uji coba skala besar sebesar 95% diatasKKM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa LKS hasilpengembangan berbasis word square tema pencemaran lingkungan layak danefektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP/ MTs.  This research is aimed to f the ind out feabisility and effectiveness of “LKS” based on wordsquare, with Environmental Pollution theme that has been developed to be used in juniorhigh school. The subject of this study was divided into two groups, they were small scalegroup and large scale group. The data were collected by using documentation, observation,test, and questionnaire methods. Based on the validation of experts consisting of lecturerand teacher validation in phase I and phase II, it is obtained that the result of“LKS”validation is feasible. The trial of a small scale group showed that the students’response reachedto be used as 82 % and value the students’ achievement was 93 % itreached minimum mastery criteria. The trial of large scale phase showed that the students’response reached 99 %, the average result observation the activity of students reached 83 %,and value the students’ achievement of the students in the trial of a large scale was 95 %above minimum mastery criteria. Based on the result it can be concluded that “LKS”based on word square the Environmental Pollution theme is feasible and effective to be usedas teaching materials in learning IPA in junior high school.

Abstract

Munculnya Permendiknas No. 22 tahun 2006 yang menyatakan bahwa substansi mata pelajaran IPA pada SMP/MTs merupakan IPA Terpadu perlu dukungan dengan adanya bahan ajar terpadu. Telah dilakukan pengembangan modul IPA Terpadu bermuatan mind mapping pada tema cahaya dan penglihatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul IPA Terpadu dan mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan 2 tahap uji coba, yaitu uji keterbacaan modul dan uji coba pemakaian modul. Uji keterbacaan modul dilakukan oleh 8 siswa kelas IX dan 3 orang guru IPA, sedangkan uji coba pemakaian modul dilakukan di kelas VIII F. Hasil kelayakan modul diperoleh dari validasi ahli mencapai >80%,  hasil tanggapan guru sebesar 93,34%, hasil uji keterbacaan modul mencapai skor 92,5%, hasil tanggapan siswa sebesar 93,6% pada uji coba pemakaian modul, serta hasil belajar siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 94,4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul IPA Terpadu bermuatan mind mapping pada tema cahaya dan penglihatan telah memenuhi syarat kelayakan bahan ajar. Disarankan untuk mengembangkan modul mind mapping pada materi yang berbeda dengankegiatan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan.  Permendiknas No. 22of 2006 states that thesubstance ofteaching integrated science for Junior High School needs asupportof providing an integrated teaching materials. Based on that background the development of integrated science modul with mind mapping approach has been done. The research objective is to develop an Integrated Science modul and determineits feasibilityas a teaching material. This research used the Research and Development design with 2 phases. They are readability test and application test. Readability test was carried outfor 8 students of IX grade and 3 science teachers, while theapplication wascarried outfor students of  VIIIF.Feasibility result sobtained from expert validation modul reached >80%, the results ofthe teachers responsewas93.34%, the results of student responses were 92.5% while in readability testand93.6% in application test. The students also achieved classical completeness of 94.4%. Based on the results aboveit can be concludedthat the Integrated Science modul withmind mapping approach “lightandvision”, theme is eligible to be used as teaching material. It can be recommended to develop a mind mapping modul in a different material with more interesting activity.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar akan lebih efektif bila didukung dengan tersedianya bahan ajar atau alat bantu yang menunjang. Modul IPA terpadu dengan pendekatan kontekstual diharapkan dapat memperjelas dan mempermudah penyajian materi dan mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam berinteraksi langsung dengan lingkungan dan sumber belajar lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul IPA terpadu dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan mengetahui keefektifan penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran. Penilaian kelayakan didasarkan pada hasil penilaian instrument kelayakan oleh para ahli, meliputi kelayakan materi, kebahasaan, dan penyajian. Keefektifan modul dianalisis dengan membandingkan perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan setelah menggunakan modul. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu dengan pendekatan kontekstual termasuk dalam criteria layak. Rata-rata hasil belajar setelah menggunakan modul lebih besar dari pada hasil belajar sebelum menggunakan modul. Modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA terpadu dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Teaching and learning activity will be more effective if it is supported by the availability of teaching materials. Integrated NaturalScience module with contextual approach is expected to clarify and simplify the presentation of the materials, and also develop the students ability to interact with the environment and another learning source directly. Research design used in this research was Research and Development.This research aims to determine the feasibilty of integrated NaturalScience module with contextual approach and to determine the effectiveness of using module in learning activity. The feasibility assesmentis based on instrument assesmentby experts of materials, languages, and designs. Theeffectiveness of module usage wasanalyzed by comparing the difference of learning outcomes before and after using the module. The research output showed that integrated NaturalScience module with contextual approach was valid. Learning outcomes average after using module was better than before. It can be conluded that Module that has been developed was feasible and effecttive to be used in integrated natural science learning.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP N 1 Doro, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran belum meningkatkan kompetensi siswa secara utuh. Hal ini terjadi karena sumber belajar yang digunakan kurang menarik minat siswa karena siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru dan membaca buku panduan, sehingga belum memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Media pembelajaran yang akan peneliti kembangkan yaitu berupa media pembelajaran monopoli IPA. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran monopoli IPA tema organisasi kehidupan dapat dikatakan layak oleh pakar sesuai dengan indikator kelayakan yang ditetapkan BSNP. Pada uji coba skala kecil dan besar, media pembelajaran monopoli IPA mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran monopoli IPA berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Observation result in SMP N 1 Doro showed that teaching learning process has not been able improve the students’ competence. This happens due to lack of learning resources to attract students interest because the students only listen to the teacher explanation and read their text book, so it does not give students the opportunity to improve their capabilities. Because of that reason, the Monopoly that can give students the opportunity to improve their abilities have been developed. In this study, the researcher used Research and Development method. The results showed that the science monopoly learning media development with Life Organization them was appropriate according to expert validators. In the small scale trials and extensive, the science monopoly learning media received very good criteria of responses by teacher and students’. From the result of this study also showed that the use of science monopoly learning media has influenced positive is in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal di SMP 1 Kudus, ditemukan buku pegangan siswa sudah memakai dua bahasa namun kurang membangkitkan minat siswa untuk membaca buku pegangan tersebut. Untuk memangkitkan minat belajar siswa maka telah dikembangkan bahan ajar yang layak digunakan yaitu berupa modul bilingual bergambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian modul bilingual bergambar oleh pakar menunjukkan kriteria sangat layak. Pada uji coba skala kecil, modul yang dikembangkan mendapat respon sangat baik oleh siswa. Hasil uji coba skala besar menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa. Untuk angket minat belajar siswa juga menunjukkan hasil yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul bilingual bergambar layak dan berdampak baik pada minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran kelas VIII di SMP 1 Kudus. Based on the observation’s result in SMP 1 Kudus it is found that bilingual student’s handbook for science learning did not generate student’s interest to read it. If students are interested in reading the handbook it will influence both of the learning outcomes and understanding of the materials. Based on those problems, this research aims to develop the appropriate teaching materials illustrated bilingual module. This research used Research and Development. The results showed that the integrated Science assessment’s module by experts showed that it is appropriate to be used as in material. On small-scale trials, the module received very good response from the students. On large-scale trials showed that the module in learning activity also received very good responses from teacher and students.  While student interest questionnaire also showed a very high result. Based on the results of this study it is concluded that the illustrated bilingual module are feasible and be able to improve the student’s interest in learning activity at SMP 1 Kudus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi adanya tuntutan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terpadu pada mata pelajaran IPA di tingkat SMP. Dalam mengimplementasikan tuntutan tersebut terdapat beberapa hambatan, yaitu buku yang digunakan berupa Buku Sains Elektronik (BSE) yang masih menyajikan materi secara terpisah dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan juga belum terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam bentuk LKS jigsaw puzzle. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Data dalam penelitian ini adalah validasi produk oleh pakar, hasil pretest postest, angket tanggapan siswa terhadap LKS jigsaw puzzle dan data aktifitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian LKS oleh pakar memiliki kriteria sangat layak dengan rata-rata perolehan skor sebesar >90% dan LKS yang dikembangkan dikatakan efektif karena hasil belajar meningkat sesuai dengan rumus N-gain yang mendapat 0,54. The background of this research is the implementation of the demands of integrated learning in science subjects at the level of SMP. There are several problems to implement because the instruction material presented the science material separately and the media content. This reseanch aims to develop an integrated science learning media using puzzle to make the learning process can be more interesting. The aims of the study is to produce a science integrated suitable and effective learning media through worksheet jigsaw puzzle. The research method is a research and development (Research and Development). The data analyzed in this study is the data product validation by the experts, the results of the pretest posttest, the students’ responses to the questionnaire jigsaw puzzle worksheets and data of students’ activity. The results of the research showed that the assessment criteria worksheets by the experts very suitable with an average gain score of >90% and worksheets that were developed to be effective for increasing learning outcomes in accordance with the formula N-gain which got 0.54.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo, ditemukan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPA belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu dan bertema, seperti di MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo. Bahan ajar yang digunakan belum terpadu masih terpisah-pisah antara materi fisika, kimia dan biologi. Materi yang digunakan masih menggunakan bahan ajar yang belum terpadu dan keseluruhan materinya masih penuh dengan kalimat sehingga siswa sulit untuk memahaminya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa Handout IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri dengan tema mata untuk kelas IX MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian dilakukan di MTs Al-islam Sumurejo dengan skala kecil kelas IX A dan uji skala besar kelas IX B. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan Handout IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri yang dilaksanakan di MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil uji kelayakan Handout IPA Terpadu oleh pakar penyajian 87,5%, pakar isi 92,5% dan pakar bahasa  95%. Tingkat ketuntasan klasikal siswa 100% dengan nilai rata-rata 84,41. Angket tanggapan guru memiliki persentase sebesar 100%, angket tanggapan siswa dalam uji coba skala kecil sebesar 93% dan uji coba skala luas sebesar 95%. Hal ini berarti Handout IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA disekolah yang diteliti. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Handout IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak. Observation result in MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo, showed that the process of teaching and learning science has not been implemented integrstedly. In MTs Al-Islam Sumurejo. The instructional material of physics, chemistry and biology subject was still used separately not integratedly. The instructional material that was used as the main material was not represented science integratedly and it was fullof word that made the students got difficulties to understand it. Therefore the purpose of this research is to develop the instructional materials on handout that uses inquiry approach to activate the students’systematical thinking skill. This research used Research and Development design. The study was conducted in MTs AL-Islam Sumurejo with the small-scale trial in IX A grade and large-scale IX B grade. The data were analyzed quantitatively, and it was obtained that the handout was feasible to be used as instructional material, based on the experts’ judegment it was obtained 87,5% design, 92.5% content, 95% language. The KKM was 100% with the average score of 84.41. The teachers’ question of handout usage  readhed 100% while students’ respond reached 93% in small scale trial, and 95% large scale trial. Therefore it can be concluded that the handout is eligible to be used as the instructional material in Junior High School level.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP N 1 Gabus, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu dan bertema, karena gurunya berlatar belakang pendidikan yang berbeda. Kendala lain belum terlaksananya pembelajaran IPA secara terpadu yaitu karena belum tersedia bahan ajar IPA yang terpadu meskipun sudah berlabel IPA Terpadu. Bahan ajar yang digunakan selama ini juga belum memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada siswa sehingga masih ditemukan hasil belajar beberapa siswa tidak mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 75. Perlu dikembangkan bahan ajar yang dapat memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Bahan ajar yang akan peneliti kembangkan yaitu berupa LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema sistem kehidupan dalam tumbuhan dapat dikatakan layak oleh pakar sesuai dengan indikator kelayakan yang ditetapkan BSNP. Pada uji coba skala kecil dan besar, LKS IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa dengan tingkat keterbacaan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKS IPA Terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.  The results of observation in SMP N 1 Gabus, found that learning activities have not been implemented in an integrated and themed, because teachers of different educational backgrounds. Another obstacle is not the implementation of an integrated learning science is not yet available as an integrated science teaching materials despite being labeled Integrated Sciences. Instructional materials used for this also has not provided a learning experience to the students so that they found the results of learning some students do not achieve the KKM is 75. Need to develop teaching materials that can give students the opportunity to expand its capabilities. Instructional materials that will be developed in the form of worksheets researchers Integrated Science -based guided inquiry. The design of this study using the method of research and development. The results showed that the integrated science worksheets guided inquiry -based theme system in the plant life can be said to be feasible by experts according to a set of performance indicators BSNP. In small -scale trials and large, integrated science worksheets based guided inquiry got very good response by teachers and students with excellent readability level . The results of this study also showed that the use of worksheets guided inquiry -based Integrated Sciences positive effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Di SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus dalam pembelajaran IPA sudah memanfaatkan ICT (Information and Communication Technology) seperti power point dan video. Namun guru belum dapat memaksimalkan sarana dan prasarana yang ada. Menurut hasil observasi di sekolah salah satu kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA terpadu yaitu masih minimnya media pembelajaran IPA terpadu. Oleh karena itu media pembelajaran IPA terpadu perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan media DGBL pada pembelajaran pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. Efektivitas diukur dengan indikator siswa yang mencapai nilai ≥70 mencapai 85% dari total siswa, siswa yang memiliki minat baik mencapai 85% dari total siswa, dan siswa yang memiliki aktivitas sangat tinggi mencapai 85% dari total siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu validator menilai media DGBL sangat baik dan layak. Pakar media dan guru (media) rata-rata skor 2,79 dengan kriteria sangat baik, sedangkan dari pakar materi dan guru (materi) rata-rata skor 2,87 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Selanjutnya pada uji coba skala kecil, siswa memberikan penilaian dengan persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Pada uji coba pemakaian diketahui bahwa persentase ketuntasan klasikal kelas VII-G sebesar 82,35% dan kelas VII-H sebesar 94,44%. Siswa dengan minat baik sebesar 92,86% dan siswa dengan aktivitas tinggi sebesar 90%. Selain itu tanggapan guru terhadap penggunaan media DGBL dalam proses pembelajaran menunjukan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media DGBL layak dan efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema pencemaran lingkungan di SMP. The science learning in SMP N 2 Jekulo Kudus has already used ICT (Information and Communication Technology) like power point and videos. However, teachers have not been able to maximize the existing infrastructure. According to the school observation’s result, one of the obstacles in implementing an integrated science teaching is the lack of availability of integrated science learning media. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. Therefore, an integrated media learning science needs to be developed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D). This research examines the process of development and the effectiveness of learning media DGBL on environmental pollution in junior high school. The effectiveness is measured by the availability of 85% of students who got score more than 70, the students who have a good interest reached 85%, and the students who have a good activity reached 85% too. The result of this study indicates that the media DGBL is very good and deserved to be used. Media experts and teachers (the media) have the average score of 2,79 with very well’s criteria, while material experts and teachers (the material) have the average score of 2,87 with very well’s criteria too. Furthermore, in the small-scale trials, the students gave the assessment’s percentage 97% with very well’s criteria. The trial of used known that the classical percentage for VII-G was 82,35% and VII-H was 94,44%. Students with an interest either 92,86% and students with high activity by 90%. In addition, the teacher's response to the use of media in the learning process DGBL showed a very good response. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the media DGBL is feasible and effective for integrated science learning about environmental pollution in junior high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan CD interaktif IPA Terpadu tema kalor berbasis science edutainment untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur penelitian meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi produk 1, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk 2, uji coba skala penerapan dan produk akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan terhadap CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan layak dengan rerata skor validasi media tahap 1 sebesar 2,68, validasi media tahap 2 sebesar 2,85, validasi materi tahap 1 sebesar 2,53, dan validasi materi tahap 2 sebesar 2,97. Penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar dengan N-gain sebesar 0,58 dengan kriteria sedang, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat nilai dinilai thitung VII D = (13,712) > ttabel (1,66) dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Penerapan CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment juga meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada tiap pertemuan. Peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa menunjukkan penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan efektif.  This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Integrated Science interactive CD based on science edutainment with theme of heat to enhance the learning outcomes and the activeness of junior high school students. This research used of Research and Development (R & D) design. The procedure was the identification of potential research and issues, data submission, design product, validation design, design revisions, small-scale trials, product 1 revision, a large-scale trials, product 2 revision, implementation scale trials and the final product. Based on the results of the study it was found on that the feasibility of the interactive CD-based science edutainment showed eligible criteria based on the media validation with score of 2.68 for stage 1, stage 2 media validation of 2.85, material validation phase 1 of 2.53, and material validation phase 2 of 2.97. Based on implementation it was that an integrated science interactive CD-based science edutainment found the results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes with N-gain of 0.58 with the criterion being, while the calculation of the value found using the t test assessed tcount VII D = (13.712)> t table (1.66) considered a significant achievement. The application of science integrated interactive CD based science edutainment also increases the activity of students showed that each meeting. The improvement student of learning outcomes and on motivation showed that the application of integrated science interactive CD based science edutainment was effective.
