Abstract

Prepaid Card is a card that can only be used if there is a nominal number of pulses or data packets first. This card has an active period that varies depending on the policies and programs of each provider. Many card users are still confused about choosing a prepaid card that is good for use, so they really need information that can be used as a reference in choosing a prepaid card. In this study conducted to analyze a selection of prepaid cards using the TOPSIS (Technique For Order of Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution) method in determining alternative choices for all prepaid card users, using several assessment criteria, namely: Cost (C1), Feature Completeness (C2), Signal (C3), Promotion / Advertising (C4), and Service Quality (C5). And also by using 6 alternatives, namely: Telkomsel (A1), Axis (A2), IM3 (A3), XL (A4), US (A5), and 3 (A6). And the results of this study were ranked first, namely: 3 (A6) as the first rank with a value of 0.5286 followed by XL (A4) with a value of 0.5238 as the second rank, and Telkomsel (A1) with a value of 0.5027. IM3 (A3) with a value of 0.4988, Axis (A2) with a value of 0.4765, then the last US (A5) with a value of 0.1905. It is hoped that this research can provide a better input to all prepaid card users.Keywords: TOPSIS, decision support system, pematang siantar, prepaid card

Abstract

Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is one of the clusters of computer science that leads to artificial intelligence, there are several methods in ANN, one of which is the backpropagation method. This method is used in the prediction process. In some cases the backpropagation method can help in problems solving, especially predictions. However, the backpropagation method has weaknesses. The results of the backpropagation method are very influenced by the determination of the parameters so that the convergence becomes very slow. So needed an optimization method to optimize the performance of the bakpropagation method. The resilient backpropgation method is one solution, this method can change the weight and bias of the network with a direct adaptation process of weighting based on local gradient information from learning iterations so that it can provide optimal results. The data used is the Higher Education Gross Enrollment Rate in Indonesia from 2015-2020 by province. The results were obtained from several data testing with architectural experiments 3-5-1, 3-20-1, 3-37-1, 3-19-1, 3-26-4 and 3-4-1 from backpropagation and resilient testing, shows that the data training process can be optimized significantly, but the accuracy is not evenly optimal

Abstract

Every educational institution whether it school or university which is vocational based definitely requires student university to conduct field practice, not excepted to STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar.  LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa is one institution which manage activity in research and dedication to the society and become a place for the lectures of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa to develops the knowledge that they have based on the each of the knowledge discipline through research field. Recrurtment activities of PKL Students in LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa  STILL DONE MANUALLY, SO IT COULD HAPPEN TO BE A MISTAKE (human error)  in choosing the student of PKL. The method which is used in the research is Promethee. Based on calculation that is done, there are two student who is deserve to be conduct PKL in LPPM, They are student 2 and 4 Which is based on the highest net flow value using promethee. The purpose of this research is to assist the LPPM in determining the students who will be street vendors in LPPM. This research is expected to assist LPPM in recruiting student PKL.

Abstract

Backpropagation is one of the methods contained in a neural network that is able to train dynamic networks using mathematical knowledge based on architectural models that have been developed in detail and systematically. Backpropagation itself is able to accommodate a lot of information that serves as a useful experience. However, the Backpropagation Algorithm tends to be slow to achieve convergence in obtaining optimum accuracy and requires large training data and the optimization used is less efficient. The purpose of this research is to optimize the learning rate on backpropagation neural networks. Source of data obtained from CV. Bona Tani Hatonduhan. There are 3 network architecture models used in this study, namely 2-51, 2-6-1, and 2-7-1 with learning rates of 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3. the results of trials carried out with MATLAB software produced the best architectural model, namely the 2-7-1 model with a learning rate of 0.3 with an accuracy of 83%. Based on this background, it is hoped that the results of the research can help in the process by optimizing the learning rate of the backpropagation Neural Network on the selection of the best architecture.

Abstract

Backpropagation itself is able to accommodate a lot of information that serves as a useful experience. The purpose of this research is to make it easier for AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar students to determine the topic of their final project with practical value so that they can do their final project quickly. So the authors conducted research using correlation in determining the topic of the final project. The data in this study were obtained directly from the AMIK Tunas Bangsa Education academics in Pematangsiantar City. The data used uses data on practical grades of AMIK Tunas Bangsa Stambuk students 2017 from semester 4 to semester 6. There are 5 network architecture models used in this study, namely 5-1-2, 5-6-2, 5-8 -2, 5-10-2, and 5-12-2. From the results of trials conducted with MATLAB software, the best architecture is the 5-1-2 model with an accuracy of 47%. Based on this background, it is hoped that the research results can help students in determining the topic of the final project

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the most needed energy today. In this modern era, almost all human activities cannot be separated from the use of electricity. The only electricity supply company in Indonesia is the State Electricity Company or PT. PLN (Persero). PLN also has several obstacles. One of them is the very large amount of arrears to customers. This causes considerable losses for PLN. The electricity payment counter also experienced the same thing as experienced by PLN, as at PT Jaya Nuhgra Pratama. For this reason, this research was conducted by comparing two methods in the classification, namely decision tree and support vector machine to find out which method is the best in solving problems and to find out the factors that are the main causes of delays in electricity payments

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of the number of vegetable crop yields in the following year. With this prediction, it is hoped that it can help the government and the community to be more careful in increasing the supply of crop stocks in order to meet the food needs of the people of Simalungun Regency. The data source is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. In this study, researchers used the Backpropagation Algorithm. The Backpropagation Algorithm is an algorithm that functions to reduce the error rate by adjusting the weight based on the desired output and target. The results of this study show that the best architectural model is the 2-1-1 model with an accuracy rate of 75.0% and an epoch of 1392 iterations in 00:07 seconds. This research is expected to be a reference material in other studies that have the same research object and as a consideration for the government in making an even more accurate evaluation system

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to screen toddlers who were experiencing severe malnutrition according to province. Sources of research data used were obtained from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. The variables used are toddlers who experience malnutrition according to the Province. In this study using Data Mining Techniques using the K-means algorithm. It is expected that the results of this study can provide input to the central government to pay more attention to nutritional intake in infants, so as to increase the growth and development of toddlers in Indonesia. . And the data obtained by high clusters are 15 Provinsi yaitu (Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Kalimantan Barat, kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara, Sulawesi Tenggara, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Barat, Papua Barat, Papua), dan cluster rendah ada 19 yaitu (Sumatera Barat, Riau, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, Bengkulu, Lampung, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Kep. Riau, Dki Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, DI Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, Banten, Bali, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Utara, Sulawesi utara, Maluku Utara).

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze and test whether the number of foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia can be predicted using artificial intelligence techniques. The research data were obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics for the tourism category. The data used in the study is data on the number of tourist visits from 2003 - 2018. The artificial intelligence technique used in this study is the artificial neural network technique using the backpropagation method. The study will explore backpropagation parameters such as learning rate and network architecture where the results of the study are expected to help provide information for decision-makers to attract more foreign tourists to Indonesia because this has an impact on improving the economy in Indonesia. The research results show that from 4 architectural models tested (7-2-1, 7-5-1, 7-10-1 and 7-2-10-1) with a learning rate of 0.1; 0.01; 0.001; 0.2; 0.02; 0.002; 0.3; 0.03; and 0.003 where the 7-10-1 model with learning rate = 0.02 is obtained which is the best prediction model with the Root Mean Squared Error is 0.094 and the relative error is 4.49% +/- 10.21%. The accuracy of the truth obtained is 96%.

Abstract

The research objective was to analyze oily facial skin using the forward chaining method and to build an expert system application that was able to provide accurate information about oily facial skin. Sources of data obtained by interviewing the owner of the House of Beauty who resides on Jl. Adam Malik, Pematangsiantar. The implementation of the expert system is a web application. The results showed that the system could be applied and analyzed oily facial skin using the forward chaining method, which was caused by various kinds of symptoms that attack everyone's facial skin, especially oily facial skin disease, based on the symptoms displayed by the user so that the expert system application could provide information about definition, treatment, and prevention, so as to help users in symptomatic symptoms and types of disease based on the symptoms that appear by the user.
