Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang masih rendah karena siswa belum memahami konsep matematika dan hubungannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan keterkaitannya dengan bidang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan unruk mengidentifikasi efektivitas pendekatan realistics mathematic education (RME) terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SLR (Systematic Literature Review), yang didasarkan pada penelitian terdahulu yang relevan mengenai RME dan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Dari pencarian menggunakan kata kunci, ditemukan sebanyak 21 artikel terkait. Kemudian, artikel-artikel tersebut dipilih 7 artikel jurnal yang memiliki topik penelitian relvan. Artikel-artikel yang diperoleh, merupakan hasil dari pencarian data di base Google Scholar dan Mendeley. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa analisis keefektifan pendekatan realistics mathematic education (RME) terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis sangat efektif digunakan.

Kemampuan Representasi Matematis (KRM) adalah suatu komponen krusial yang perlu dikuasai siswa SMK selama pembelajaran matematika yang terintegrasi. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan siswa kelas X TMK di SMKS YPPT Garut sebagai subjek untuk menjabarkan KRM siswa untuk materi program linear. Dalam metode pengumpulan data, analisis KRM dan wawancara digunakan. Analisis kemampuan mengacu pada tiga indikator representasi matematis: gambar, verbal, dan simbolik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa 3 siswa dengan kategori tinggi memiliki persentase 20%, 9 siswa dengan kategori sedang memiliki persentase 60%, dan 6 siswa dengan kategori rendah memiliki persentase 20%. Siswa kelas X TMK di sekolah tersebut memiliki KRM yang sedang dalam materi program linear. Siswa dengan skor tertinggi berada di kategori tinggi, tetapi KRM mereka belum maksimal karena ada langkah-langkah dalam representasi verbal yang belum diinterpretasikan secara menyeluruh dalam jawaban.

Kemampuan analogi sangat penting bagi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, dengan kemampuan analogi, siswa dapat meningkatkan daya ingat dalam hal konsep matematika untuk jangka panjang, namun pada kenyataannya Kemampuan analogi matematis siswa tergolong masih rendah. Hal tersebut dikarenakan masih belum terbiasanya siswa berlatih menggunakan analogi dalam bermatematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji urgensi kemampuan analogi terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka (literatur review). Peneliti memilih 32 artikel dari Google Scholar, ResearchGate, DOAJ dan SINTA, serta mempunyai keterkaitan dengan kemampuan analogi matematis kemudian diidentifikasi sesuai dengan kesamaan karakteristiknya. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kemampuan analogi matematis siswa mempunyai urgensi yang tinggi dalam pembelajaran matematika.

This study aims to analyze the level of mathematical problem solving abilities of students in one of the high schools in Garut City on the material of sequence and series. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The sample in this study was conducted on 5 students in class XI at one of the public high schools in Garut City. The instruments given to the students were 4 questions on the sequence and series material. The conclusion of this study is the mathematical problem solving ability of class XI high school students in Garut City, seen from the indicators of identifying sufficient data to solve problems and implementing strategies to solve problems, is quite high, but the indicators of making mathematical models are classified as moderate, and checking the correctness of results and answers still relatively low.

Self-confidence is a positive attitude that is the most important basic capital in a person to be able to develop his abilities to achieve whatever he wants and can do, both towards himself and the environment or situations he faces, including in learning. However, the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) data indicates that Indonesian students' self-confidence still needs to improve by at least 30%. This study assesses junior high school students' confidence in solving algebraic problems. This study employs a qualitative, descriptive research methodology. To analyse the data, conclusions were drawn, and the percentage of students who used the Canva app, Wordwall, and the Ular tangga game to gain confidence in their ability to solve algebraic problems was described. Thirty-six junior high school students in class VII served as the research subjects. Cognitive test sheets and observations were the study tools used. This study looked at four characteristics of self-confidence: 1) Act independently in making decisions; 2) Have a positive self-concept; and 3) Dare to voice thoughts. When choosing the learning models and media to employ in teaching and learning activities, teachers can benefit from the findings of this research. Thus, the Canva application and Wordwall media are able to increase self-confidence in class VII junior high school students.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk medeskripsikan dan menganalisis: 1) Pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik. 2).Pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman matematis terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik 3). Interaksi antara pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pemahaman matematis terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik.ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa semester 4 program studi pendidikan matematika tahun akademik 2014/2015, pada Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) Garut, Sampel dari penelitian ini dua kellomppok. Kelompok pertama sebagai kellompok eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan kellompok kedua sebagai kelompok kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling acak sederhana. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket,. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis variansi dua jalan. Dari hasil penelitian pada α = 0,05 diperoleh: (1) terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik dengan FA = 5,58 > Fα = 4,01; (2) terdapat kemampuan pemahaman matematis terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik dengan FB = 15,96 > Fα = 3,16,; (3) terdapat interaksi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan kemampuan pemahaman matematis terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata kuliah statistika non parametrik dengan FAB = 3,45 > F α = 3,16.

Kemampuan spasial merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematis yang sangat penting dimiliki siswa khususnya dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, yaitu model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metod quasi experimental dan desain penelitian adalah pre-experimental. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, peneliti mengambil sampel siswa kelas VIII-I dari salah satu sekolah yang ada di kabupaten Garut. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil uji-t, uji-z dan uji gain dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem-based learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis siswa. Spatial ability is one of the mathematical skills that is very important for students, especially in solving geometry problems. To improve mathematical spatial ability, it is necessary to apply an appropriate learning model, namely the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model in improving mathematical spatial ability. This study is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and the research design is pre-experimental. With the purposive sampling technique, the researcher took a sample of students in grades VIII-I from one of the schools in Garut district. Data collection uses tests and observations. The results of the t-test, z-test and gain test can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model is effectively used to improve students' mathematical spatial ability.

This study focuses on revealing comparison of communication skills and mathematical problem solving junior high school students, as a result of the use of contextual learning and conventional learning in mathematics learning. Subjects in the study were students of class VIII junior secondary school class one experimental and one control class. The instrument used in this study consists of two instruments, namely, 1) test communications and mathematical problem solving that aims to measure communication skills and mathematical problem solving of students after learning, and 2) the scale of attitude that serves to express students' applied learning the class eksperimen.Berdasarkan data analysis in this study, it is concluded that 1) the ability of students in mathematical communication in the group of students that uses contextual learning better than students who studied with conventional learning. 2) The ability of students in mathematical problem solving in student groups that use contextual learning better than students who studied with conventional learning. 3) There is a very high correlation between communication skills and mathematical problem solving of students. This means that the rank obtained by the students on communication skills with a rating similar to that obtained in mathematical problem solving ability. There are also associations at anatara enough communication skills to solving mathematical problems. This shows that student achievement in communication skills similar to mathematical problem solving ability and vice versa. Correlations and associations found in both groups. 4) the scale of students' attitudes toward learning context shows that the majority of students expressed agreement the learning activities that took place during the study.
