Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of teaching materials in the learning process, especially in making teaching materials. The teaching materials used in this school still use textbooks and worksheets as the teaching materials used. This school needs creative teaching materials that can attract students' attention in the learning process, especially when reading, while students like to learn using interesting learning media so that when reading, not only text, students also enjoy seeing pictures, in this school lack of interesting learning media. In this research, researchers want to develop LKPD. This research aims to make LKPD attractive and creative. Types of research and development Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research is the 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely the definition stage (Define), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Develop), the deployment stage (Dessiminate). The types of data collection taken in this research were interview sheets, validity, practicality and effectiveness instruments. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include validity, practicality and effectiveness data analysis. The validation results by graphics experts were 84% in the very valid category, content/material experts 88.88% in the valid category, linguists 85.71% in the very valid category. the results of the questionnaire data analysis, the responses of teachers and class IV students were 100% in the very practical category. The results of effectiveness data analysis through test questions with an average score of 89.47% in the effective category.

Abstract

The types of data collection taken in this research were interview sheets, validity, practicality and effectiveness instruments. The validation results by graphics experts were 70.4% in the very valid category, content/material experts 83.3% in the valid category, linguists 89.2% in the very valid category. the results of the questionnaire data analysis, the responses of teachers and class IV students were 100% in the very practical category. The results of effectiveness data analysis through test questions with an average score of 87.5% in the effective category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation and effectiveness of the Indonesian language learning approach in the Merdeka Curriculum through a literature review. The research conducted in this study uses a library research or literature study approach. The researcher relies on various literatures to obtain research data, with a qualitative approach that results in data in the form of words or descriptions. Based on the literature review conducted, the Indonesian language learning approach in the Merdeka Curriculum has great potential to improve the quality of education by providing space for more flexible and contextual learning tailored to students' needs. However, its implementation faces significant challenges, particularly related to teachers' readiness, infrastructure limitations, and a still-limited understanding of the fundamental principles of this curriculum. The success of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian language learning largely depends on sustained support from various parties, such as the government, which must provide adequate training and infrastructure, as well as the involvement of the community and parents in the educational process. With good collaboration, this curriculum can improve the overall quality of education and have a positive impact on the younger generation of Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh proses pembelajaran yang monoton, pendidik saat menjelaskan hanya terpaku dengan materi yang ada dibuku dan memberikan contoh abstrak dari benda sekitar tidak mempraktekanya secara langsung sedangkan anak pada usia kelas rendah sangat membutuhkan media yang kongkret dalam proses pembelajaranya. Sehingga sebagian anak hanya mengetahui nama benda tapi tidak dengan bentuk bendanya sehingga siswa sering merasa bosan saat proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan Media Pop Up Book materi kemampuan membaca permulaan muatan bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas 1 di SD Negeri 01 Padang Laweh Kabupaten Dharmasraya yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu model Plomp yang terdiri dari tahap penelitian pendahuluan (preliminary research), tahap prototype (Prototyping phase) dan tahap penelitian (assessment phase). Hasil penilaian validasi media media Pop Up Book pada uji validasi oleh tiga ahli yakni ahli bahasa dengan presentase 93,5% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, ahli isi/materi dengan presentase 85,71 termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, dan ahli konstruk dengan presentase 97,5% termasuk dalam kategori snagat valid, Maka diperoleh skor rata-rata 92,32%. Dengan demikian media Pop Up Book sudah sesuai dengan bahasa, media dan materi pembelajaran, uji praktikalitas respon guru 89,55 % One to One Evaluatiuon 93,65% dan Small Group Evaluation 88,1 % dengan kategori sangat praktis dan hasil efektifitas dinilai dari hasil belajar siswa diperoleh presentase 93,75% dengan kategori sangat efektif artinya media dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik

Abstract

This research is motivated by learning Indonesian Babasa which is still not optimal.  The learning process has not used interesting media. Therefore, many student learning outcomes are below the minimum completeness criteria.  For this reason, researchers conducted a study using letter card game media.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of letter card game media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language theme 8 Natural Events I SDN 13 Sitnung. This type of research is a pre experimental design.  The research design is a one group pretest-posttest design.  The population in this study were all first grade students of SD Negeri 13 Sitiung, Dhamasraya Regency. The sample in this study was taken using a sampling technique or saturated sample. Data collection techniques were taken by giving pre-test and post-test. The sample in this study amounted to 27 students. The study was conducted in  SD Negeri 13 Sitiung When this research was conducted in the second semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year, it was adjusted to the learn ing schedule. Based on the results of the paired samples t test, a significance of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. It can be concluded that there is an influence of letter card game media on student learning outcomes for Indonesian language theme 8 Natural Events in class I SDN 13 Sitiung.  give a very good influence on students' Indonesian learning outcomes.  Media card game letters can be used by teachers to relate subject matter to the real world of students, make students active and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide information about the developmental psychology of elementary school students. The type of research used in this research is library research, namely research carried out by collecting data or scientific writing aimed at research objects or library data collection, or research carried out to solve a problem which is basically focused on critical and in-depth review of relevant library materials. The data sources for this research are books, articles and websites related to the selected topic. The data source for this research consists of 30 references regarding the developmental psychology of elementary school students. The development phases of elementary school children are divided into 5 phases, namely, the prenatal phase (while in the womb), the infant phase, the early childhood phase, the late childhood phase and the adolescent phase. Estimated time is determined at each stage to obtain a time picture from the beginning to the end of the stage. Each individual child must go through a developmental phase, because behavior is formed as a reaction to growth given by both the family environment and the external environment. Therefore, parents or teachers need to collaborate to understand what should be given to children when going through the development phase so that children have psychological and physical readiness to develop their own potential

Abstract

This study aims to identify the multicultural values embedded in the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra, and to examine their implementation in literary appreciation learning in vocational high schools. This research employs a qualitative case study approach. The data consist of literary appreciation learning activities in a Grade XII Vocational High School 1 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra class, with data sources including students and the novel itself. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal a total of 250 multicultural values categorized into five themes: tolerance, trust building, mutual respect, flexible thinking, interdependence, and appreciation. These values are conveyed through the characters’ interactions with individuals from diverse religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. The study also found that these values are reflected and reinforced through classroom activities that promote respect for diversity, cooperative learning, and character development. This research contributes to the development of multicultural-based literary appreciation learning by demonstrating how literature can be used as a pedagogical tool to foster inclusivity, empathy, and social harmony among students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a flipbook learning media using the Canva application on poetry writing material. Researchers chose the Canva application because it is possible and easy to use to create flipbook learning media that are developed to look more attractive and improve student understanding, so that in the learning process students are more active and easily understand the material.This type of research was a Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model consisting of the analysis stage (analyze), design stage (design), development stage (develop), implementation stage (implement), and evaluation stage (evaluate). This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tebo in the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects of the study were 20 class XI students. Data collection techniques used student response questionnaires, teacher responses, media expert validation sheets, content experts, and language experts.The results of the validity of flipbook learning media assisted by Canva carried out by three validators obtained an average value of 87.21% categorized as very valid. The results of teacher practicality obtained an average of 95.45% with a very practical category and an average value of student practicality of 89.33% categorized as very practical. And the average effectiveness value of 90% is categorized as very effective. It can be concluded that the flipbook learning media assisted by Canva developed by researchers is suitable for use, because it has met the valid, practical, and effective categories.

Abstract

This study aims to develop podcast-based learning media on the material of reviewing works of fiction for grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Sitiung. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model, which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Sitiung in the 2024/2025 school year with the research subjects being class VIII students totaling 32 people. Data collection techniques were carried out through student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as validation sheets involving media experts, material experts, and linguistic experts. The results of this study show that researchers produce podcast-based learning media as a learning medium for material to determine the elements of short stories, the media is said to be valid, seen from the results of media expert validation obtained a score of 93.75% and included the “very valid” category, material expert validation obtained a score of 71.43% including the ‘valid’ category, linguistic expert validation obtained a score of 89.28% including the “very valid” category. This means that learning media is suitable for use by educators and students. The results of the practicality assessment conducted by educators obtained a score of 86.36% including the category “very valid” and VIII grade students obtained a score of 81.25% including the category “very valid”.

Abstract

Social emotional problems in early childhood can hinder the learning process and social development. This study aims to analyze the approaches used by teachers in instilling and developing the social emotional aspects of early childhood in Pembina Sitiung State Kindergarten, and to find out the most effective approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers use play, role model, and habituation approaches in instilling social emotional values. The collaborative play approach and adult role models have proven to be the most effective in shaping positive social behavior in children. This study recommends the importance of ongoing teacher training related to approaches that are oriented towards strengthening children's social emotional values.
