Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of Green Hotel Policies and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on consumers' intention to stay at the hotel, considering the mediating role of Trust. The research method employed a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents who frequently stay at hotels, with data analysis conducted through validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that Green Hotel Policies and CSR have a positive and significant influence on the intention to stay, both directly and through Trust. CSR has a more dominant influence (coefficient 0.516) compared to Green Hotel Policies (coefficient 0.318). Additionally, Trust is proven to be an effective intervening variable in strengthening the relationship between Green Hotel Policies and CSR with the intention to stay. These findings support the importance of implementing environmentally friendly policies and sincere, consumer-relevant CSR programs to enhance trust and the intention to stay. This study also highlights differences in consumer perceptions of sustainability practices, where education and clear communication are key to reducing skepticism

Abstract

This study aims to assess and segment graduate student satisfaction in the Master of Management Program at UMB, focusing on academic services and teaching quality, using a data-driven approach through K-Means clustering and Decision Tree classification. The K-Means method successfully identified three distinct satisfaction clusters: Very Satisfied, Satisfied, and Dissatisfied. From an HRD perspective, this segmentation provides strategic insights into how students perceive institutional service delivery—spanning administrative processes, supporting infrastructure, and interaction quality across service units. These insights reflect the internal customer experience, which is critical in managing human capital performance within higher education institutions. The clustering results were further examined using a Decision Tree to identify key attributes driving satisfaction levels. Factors such as clarity in professional certification procedures (K55), responsiveness of certification services (K56), and management service quality (K78) emerged as dominant predictors of satisfaction in the service domain. In the teaching domain, lecturer empathy (K03) and responsiveness (K01) were shown to significantly influence student engagement and academic trust—two core components in HRD models for faculty performance. These findings suggest the need for targeted capacity-building programs, soft skill enhancement, and infrastructure development. By integrating student feedback into ongoing HR practices and quality assurance mechanisms, institutions can foster a more human-centered, responsive, and effective educational environment.

Abstract

Background: Students who study and work face many daily challenges such as time constraints, work and study pressures, and busy schedules that can cause stress and interfere with individual mental health. Resilience is a factor that plays an important role so that individuals can survive in overcoming problems and adapting to stressful situations. Objective: This study examines whether there is an influence of character strength on resilience in working students. Method: This type of research is quantitative with simple regression analysis that measures the magnitude of the influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable. Total respondents were 149 working students in Yogyakarta Province. Results: Character strength variables can be used as predictors of academic resilience variables. The R square value of 0.163 indicates that 16.3% of the Character strength variable can predict the level of academic resilience in the subject. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between Character strength and resilience in working students. The relationship between the two variables is positive, which means that if the Character strength in students is positive, the resilience is high, otherwise if the student's Character strength is negative, the resilience is low.

Abstract

The existence of globalization encourages every organization to be more adaptive in facing dynamic changes. Employee engagement is considered one of the important factors that can increase human resource performance. This research aimed to understand the impact of variables that can influence employee engagement, in order for the employees can be more engaged to the organization. Furthermore, this study examined the relationship between workplace well-being toward employee engagement with resilience as a mediator. The method used in this research was the quantitative method. The questionnaires using a random sampling technique and the answers from 183 employees across various regions in Indonesia with the following characteristics: employees aged 20 to 50, minimum tenure 1 year, were analyzed using SEM (Structure Equation Modelling) with the assistance of the smart PLS program. According to the analysis, it was found that (1) workplace wellbeing positively significantly influences employee engagement, (2) workplace wellbeing positively significantly influences resilience, (3) resilience positively significantly influences employee engagement, and (4) resilience mediates the relationship between workplace wellbeing and employee engagement. The result indicates that an Organization can increase employee engagement by building strong workplace well-being and supporting employees in increasing their resilience.

Abstract

Purpose: To examine how market-based dynamic capabilities influence SME sustainability in South Meruya, West Jakarta, emphasizing the mediating role of government support. Method: A conceptual model grounded in Resource-Based and Market-Based View theories was tested using questionnaire data from 25 SMEs, analyzed via Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Practical Applications: Findings inform targeted training programs and policy frameworks that strengthen SMEs' adaptive capacity, export orientation, and responsiveness to sustainability demands through enhanced market-based knowledge and resource integration. Conclusion: Dynamic capabilities are effectively cultivated when SMEs strategically align market-oriented resources, capabilities, and knowledge within volatile, competitive environments, with government support critically mediating these relationships to foster long-term business sustainability.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the causal relationship between internal communication and career sustainability on job satisfaction with work motivation as a mediating variable. The urgency of this study arises from the need to enhance job satisfaction among employees in higher education institutions in order to align with the demands of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) within the higher education sector.Methodology: A quantitative approach with an associative causal research design was employed. Data were collected using a survey method with a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).Finding: The findings demonstrate that internal communication and career sustainability positively influence both work motivation and job satisfaction. Moreover, work motivation is proven to act as a partial mediator, further amplifying the effect of internal communication and career sustainability on job satisfaction. Conclusion: These findings not only contribute theoretically by enriching the model intervariable relationships in the education sector context but also offer practical implications. This study recommends improving the effectiveness of internal communication and developing sustainable career programs as essential strategies for enhancing employee work motivation, which is ultimately serves as a crucial factor in improving job satisfaction in the Mercu Buana University environment.
