Changes in conditions during the covid-19 pandemic made teachers take more initiative to create interactive learning even in online learning conditions. One platform that provides interactive conditions is Pear Deck. By utilizing the Pear Deck, the researcher aims to find out the Pear Deck-assisted learning process, and its impact on learning outcomes in differential calculus course material for implicit function derivatives. The research was applied to 18 second-semester mathematics education students with 15 students writing test subjects. The results showed that more than 80% of students were actively involved in lectures and were more active in conveying their opinions from the analysis of problem-solving procedures in this interactive learning. Research also shows that the results of implementing Pear Deck-assisted learning have a positive and significant effect as indicated by the value of t = 5.082 with a significance value of 0.0. The amount of this learning contribution to learning outcomes is 66.5%.

This study discusses the role of mathematical literacy as the main competency that cadets need to have in the field of maritime education. Through a systematic literature review (SLR), the mathematical literacy competencies needed by cadets in the maritime field are navigation, problem solving, use of modern technology, operational management, critical and logical thinking, and accurate data-based decision making. This systematic review provides an illustration of literacy mastery Mathematics not only supports cadets' understanding of basic maritime concepts, but also improves cadets' abilities in dealing with challenges or unexpected situations on board ships and while at anchor. Therefore, developing mathematical literacy must be a priority in cadet education and training programs to produce graduates who are competent and ready to face the complexity of the global maritime industry.

Abstrak Representasi matematis digunakan siswa ketika menghadapi soal matematika yang harus mereka selesaikan. Hal ini karena representasi matematis merupakan bentuk ungkapan ide yang ditampilkan siswa dalam bentuk yang beragam dalam situasi tertentu sebagai upaya menemukan solusi dari soal yang dihadapi. Rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap soal yang diberikan kemungkinan besar disebabkan oleh siswa yang tidak mampu menggunakan reprentasi matematis dengan benar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi matematis siswa SMP, khususnya siswa berkemampuan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan salah satu siswa kelas VIII SMP 10 Nopember Sidoarjo yang dipilih berdasarkan tes kemampuan matematis. Hasil deskripsi data menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan soal, siswa berkemampuan matematika tinggi cenderung menggunakan representasi visual untuk menyelesaikan masalah, membuat persamaan matematis atau ekspresi matematis, serta menjawab permasalahan dengan menggunakan kata-kata atau teks tertulis dengan hasil penyelesaian soal sebagian besar benar. Abstract Mathematical problems that they must solve. This is because mathematical representation is a form of expression of ideas displayed by students in various forms in certain situations in an effort to find solutions to the problems faced. The lack of students' understanding of the questions given is most likely due to students who are not able to use mathematical representation correctly. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that aims to describe the mathematical representation of junior high school students, especially students with high ability in solving math problems. The subject of this research is one of the eighth grade students of SMP 10 November Sidoarjo selected based on a mathematical ability test. The results of the data description show that in solving problems, students with high mathematical abilities tend to use visual representations, make mathematical equations or mathematical expressions, and answer problems by using written words or text with the results of solving problems mostly correct.

This study aims to: determine the effectiveness of the use of instructional media, and determine the practical effect of using instructional media on student learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive quantitative which aims to describe the practicality of using learning media, the effectiveness of using learning media, and the effect of using learning media on student learning outcomes. The analysis technique used in this study to determine the effect of the practicality of using instructional media on student learning outcomes is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the practicality level of learning media was 80%, and the completeness level of students was 76%, so it can be concluded that the learning media developed met practical and effective criteria. The results showed that the assumptions of linear regression were met, namely the data were normally distributed, the data were homogeneous and there was no correlation between the data. So that a simple linear regression test can be carried out partially and the results obtained are tcount = 5.617 which is greater than the value ttable = 2.04841 which means H0 is rejected, so the practicality of using instructional media influences student learning outcomes.

Tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja di PT. Berlian Manyar Sejahtera mendorong penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor risiko dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan K3 pada TKBM. Melalui studi kasus, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa kurangnya kesadaran K3, lemahnya penegakan disiplin, dan kondisi lingkungan kerja yang tidak aman menjadi akar permasalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya kesadaran K3, kurangnya penegakan disiplin, dan fasilitas K3 yang tidak memadai menjadi kendala utama. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penulis merekomendasikan beberapa solusi, yaitu program pelatihan keselamatan komprehensif yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan khusus pekerja dermaga, penegakan peraturan keselamatan yang lebih ketat, dan peningkatan infrastruktur keselamatan di tempat kerja. Dengan menerapkan beberapa solusi ini, PT. Berlian Manyar Sejahtera dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman dan mengurangi frekuensi kecelakaan kerja.

In the ever-evolving digital era, education faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Technology is now an integrated part of the learning process, providing various tools that can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of education. One technological innovation that has great potential to support educators is ChatGPT. This ability can be utilized by teachers for various purposes, including in making learning tools. With the help of ChatGPT, teachers can save time and energy in designing teaching materials, assignments and learning evaluations that suit students' needs (Kharis et al., 2024). The teachers at SMP PGRI 8 Sidoarjo have not made much use of technology that makes it easier for them to prepare learning tools. This can be seen from the results of initial observations which show that 71.4% of teachers have never used applications or technology that makes it easier to create learning tools. This Community Service implementation was carried out with the aim of introducing, socializing and assisting teachers in utilizing ChatGPT to develop learning tools more quickly, effectively and efficiently. The results of participant responses regarding the implementation of activities are measured by participant satisfaction, which is the average of participant satisfaction with the satisfaction indicator factors. In this activity, 84.46% of participants gave an average rating of very good to the statement items in the questionnaire, which can be interpreted as meaning that 84.46% of participants were very satisfied.

This research is motivated by the fact that it has been known that communication has a relationship with literacy based on literacy components. However, there has been no research or reference that illustrates how big and strong the relationship between mathematical literacy and mathematical written communication skills is and there is also no research that explains the significance of the relationship between the two. With this condition, the description of the significant relationship between mathematical literacy and mathematical written communication skills is the goal of this study to describe the significant relationship between mathematical literacy and the mathematical written communication ability of grade X students. This research was carried out in the 2023/2024 school year at SMKN 1 Jabon class X. The research sample was class X TEI 2 which amount is for accountable to 30 students. Data collection is in the form of tests with the same question and as many as 4 modified questions and validated by expert lecturers. The data from the study were tested for normality and linearity, then a hypothesis test was carried out using Pearson correlation. The results of this study are the relationship between mathematical literacy and mathematical written communication skills in grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Jabon shows that there is positive relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.966 or included in a very strong criterion.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan melihat hubungan antara status akreditasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis guru matematika dan juga siswa. Pemilihan sekolah dilakukan secara acak berdasarkan data BAN SM untuk SMP di wilayah Sidoarjo. Sekolah dipilih untuk mewakili sekolah terakreditasi A, B, dan C. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang meliputi aspek menginterpretasi, aspek menghubungkan, aspek menganalisis, aspek mengevaluasi, dan aspek memecahkan masalah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan korelasi Gamma dan diperoleh hasil bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status sekolah dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis guru, sehingga dalam kasus ini kemampuan berpikir kritis tidak ada kaitannya dengan status akreditasi. Begitu juga analisis dari data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status sekolah dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. This study aims to identify the relationship between mathematical connection ability (MCA) and mathematical problem-solving skills (MPSS) in cadets of the Ship Operation Engineering Technology Study Program at the Surabaya Maritime Polytechnic. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, 21 cadets were given two questions designed to measure MCA and MPSS, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed a significant positive correlation between MCA and MPSS, with a coefficient value of 0.901. This finding indicates that cadets with higher MCA tend to have better problem-solving skills. Additionally, cadets experienced difficulties with questions involving trigonometric concepts in a nautical context, such as the use of compass points and distance calculations. This study highlights the importance of strengthening MCA and MPSS in maritime vocational education to enhance cadets' technical and cognitive skills, particularly in solving complex operational problems in the maritime sector.

Ports are critical infrastructure in maritime transportation, facilitating the movement of goods and people while serving as hubs for economic activities. The Tanjung Pakis Class III Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) utilizes the Electronic Reporting Information (SIRANI) application for reporting loading and unloading data. However, challenges such as discrepancies, technical disruptions, and delays in data processing often arise. This study aims to describe the loading and unloading data processing and the efficiency of reporting time on the SIRANI application at KSOP Class III Tanjung Pakis. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, the research finds that data processing is less effective due to low data validity and errors in the Inaportnet platform. Reporting to SIRANI is also inefficient due to delays in data handling and technical issues with the application. Corrective measures, such as early data verification and manual data handling by reporting officers, have improved effectiveness by reducing the process from five to three steps and cutting reporting time from 6 hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes. The study concludes that optimizing data processing and inter-unit coordination can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting. Recommendations for future research include real-time integration and the development of backup mechanisms to address technical disruptions.
