Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Tarekat Qadiriyah Naqsyabandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya in fostering social solidarity among the residents of Gunungmanik Village, Talaga District, Majalengka Regency. The background of this research arises from the phenomenon of weakening social bonds and moral values in rural communities as a consequence of modernization and the erosion of spiritual values. Within this context, TQN Suryalaya emerges as a Sufi movement that not only emphasizes the ritual aspects of dzikr (remembrance of God) but also performs a social function in strengthening community cohesion and the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) among villagers. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a sociology of religion perspective. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation of the order’s activities. The key informants consisted of TQN teachers, local administrators, community leaders, and ordinary residents. The findings indicate that the practices of daily dzikr, Monday night khotaman, and monthly manaqiban play a vital role in reinforcing social relationships, nurturing empathy, and cultivating the spirit of mutual assistance within the community. Sufi values such as ikhlas (sincerity), tawadhu’ (humility), ta‘awun (mutual help), and ukhuwah (brotherhood) serve as the moral foundation that sustains social solidarity and communal harmony in the village.

Abstract

This research explores the role of logic in the understanding of truth in educational settings, using a hermeneutical-philosophical approach. Logic, as a rational thinking tool, serves to develop students' critical and analytical thinking abilities, while science, through empirical methods, provides an evidence-based framework that supports the understanding of truth. However, the application of logic is often limited to theoretical aspects without a practical context, and science education tends to emphasise memorisation over process exploration. This paper proposes the integration of logic and science through an integrated curriculum, project-based approaches and the use of technology to create a holistic education that supports students' character and critical reasoning. This integration creates harmony between rationality and local values, relevant for 21st century education that respects cultural diversity. This research highlights the challenges of creating an inclusive yet value-based education and offers practical recommendations to improve the relevance of logic in learning.

Abstract

Perencanaan pendidikan melibatkan proses yang terorganisir untuk menetapkan arah, sasaran, dan langkah-langkah pelaksanaan pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Selain fokus pada penyusunan program dan kegiatan pembelajaran, perencanaan ini juga mencakup pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, keuangan, fasilitas, dan evaluasi lengkap untuk memastikan tercapainya mutu pendidikan yang optimal. Dalam sistem pendidikan, peranan perencanaan sangat vital sebagai fondasi untuk mengembangkan kebijakan, menjalankan program, dan mengendalikan mutu pendidikan. Dengan perencanaan yang terencana dengan baik, pendidikan dapat dilaksanakan secara lebih efisien dan mampu menanggapi perubahan sosial, ekonomi, serta perkembangan teknologi yang terus berlangsung. Perencanaan pendidikan yang efektif berfungsi sebagai alat pengendali untuk memastikan seluruh elemen pendidikan berjalan sesuai dengan visi dan misi yang telah ditetapkan. Aspek integrasi antar sektor dan partisipasi menjadi fokus utama dalam perencanaan sistem pendidikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia berbasis kompetensi di lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui studi literatur. Fokus kajian meliputi konsep manajemen sumber daya manusia, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam, serta tantangan implementasi dalam konteks perubahan global. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis kompetensi menjadi strategi penting untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas, kinerja, dan integritas tenaga pendidik serta kependidikan. Kompetensi yang dikembangkan mencakup pedagogik, profesional, sosial, kepribadian, dan spiritual sesuai karakter pendidikan Islam. Nilai-nilai Islam seperti amanah, ikhlas, shiddiq, dan fathanah turut membentuk etos kerja dan budaya organisasi yang religius. Namun, implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia berbasis kompetensi masih menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan pelatihan, resistensi budaya, kesulitan penilaian objektif, serta kurangnya integrasi sistem sumber daya manusia. Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan Islam perlu menerapkan perencanaan strategis, pembinaan berkelanjutan, serta kepemimpinan visioner untuk memastikan efektivitas pengelolaan SDM. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan SDM yang profesional dan berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the semantic meanings of three key terms: al-tarbiyah al-islāmiyyah, al-ta'līm al-islāmī, and al-ta'dīb al-islāmī from an Arabic linguistic perspective. Using the qualitative library research method, the research data focuses on the semantic interpretation of Islamic education terminology through classical Islamic literature, contemporary scholarly works, authoritative Arabic dictionaries, and academic journals. The data collection technique employs systematic documentation by identifying, inventorying, classifying, and thoroughly reading relevant sources to extract etymological information, morphological patterns, and contextual usage. Data analysis uses content analysis with a descriptive-comparative semantic approach through data reduction, systematic presentation based on semantic categories, and conclusion drawing with source triangulation. The findings reveal that al-tarbiyah derives from the root rabbā emphasizing holistic nurturing with divine dimension, al-ta'līm from 'alima focusing on cognitive knowledge transfer, and al-ta'dīb from addaba prioritizing character formation and moral internalization. Each term carries a distinct philosophical orientation and educational scope that should determine the paradigm, curriculum, methodology, and evaluation of Islamic education. The research identifies that semantic confusion occurs due to limited semantic studies, the influence of Western literature translations, and weak terminology standardization in Indonesian Islamic educational institutions. Institutions often use these terms interchangeably without understanding their substantial differences, leading to misalignment between nomenclature and educational practice. This study recommends conceptual reconstruction and consistent implementation based on a clear understanding of semantic meanings to optimize Islamic education effectiveness.

Abstract

Human Resource (HR) development is a key factor in achieving sustainable educational quality. In the context of Islamic educational institutions, HR development is not only directed at improving the professional competence of teachers and education personnel, but also the formation of spiritual character based on Islamic values. This article aims to analyze the concept and model of HR development based on Islamic values that are relevant to be applied in integrated Islamic schools. The method used is library research by examining modern human resource management theory and the principles of developing perfect human beings in Islam. HR development results can be realized through a holistic approach that emphasizes aspects of tazkiyah (purification of the soul), takwiyah (strengthening professional competence), and tarbiyah (formation of character and Islamic work culture). This model is expected to be able to produce educators who are professionally competent, ethical, and oriented towards devotion to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) constitutes a strategic component in efforts to improve the quality of education, including within pesantren institutions characterized by their religious foundations and distinctive cultural traditions. This study aims to examine relevant and effective HRM practices that support the enhancement of educational quality in pesantren. Employing a qualitative approach through a literature-based study, this research reviews various scholarly works, previous empirical findings, and academic documents focusing on HRM within pesantren-based educational institutions. The analysis indicates that improving educational quality can be achieved through well-directed planning of educator needs, recruitment processes that emphasize competence and integrity, the implementation of continuous training and development programs, and systematic performance evaluations. Additionally, the leadership of the kiai plays a pivotal role in establishing strategic policies and fostering an organizational climate conducive to optimizing HRM performance. These findings underscore that systematic and contextually appropriate HRM constitutes a critical element in enhancing instructional effectiveness and institutional management within pesantren.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic ethics with 21st-century competencies is essential to strengthen the relevance of Islamic religious education in responding to contemporary educational challenges. This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic ethics and 4C competencies integration in PAI learning. A mixed-methods sequential explanatory design was employed. Quantitative data were collected through a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 24 students to measure five integrated indicators, namely, critical thinking based on Islamic justice, creativity with value (maslahah), trustworthy collaboration, civilized communication, and ethical decision making, as well as student learning engagement. Qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving PAI teachers and selected students. The findings indicate high achievement in trustworthy collaboration and civilized communication, along with a strong linkage between analytical skills and moral principles in critical thinking and ethical decision-making. Creativity with value and affective engagement were relatively lower, suggesting limited innovation and learning variation. The integration of Islamic ethics and 21st-century competencies enhances students’ cognitive, affective, and social development. This study implies the need for project-based learning, interactive media, and broader school–community collaboration to strengthen meaningful and contextual PAI learning.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji transformasi desain gedung perpustakaan madrasah di Indonesia melalui penggabungan konsep perpustakaan cerdas dan prinsip aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas. Kajian ini menyoroti bahwa pembangunan ruang literasi masa depan bukan lagi sekadar urusan estetika arsitektur, melainkan upaya menciptakan ekosistem yang mengharmonisasikan teknologi digital dengan ruang fisik untuk memuliakan martabat setiap siswa. Melalui pendekatan desain yang adaptif, perpustakaan dirancang untuk mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan berbagai spektrum kemampuan, mulai dari penyediaan furnitur modular yang fleksibel, zona sensorik yang menenangkan bagi siswa autisme, hingga penggunaan sistem navigasi berbasis Internet of Things yang memberikan kemandirian bagi siswa tunanetra. Selain itu, integrasi fasilitas pintar seperti pemindai teks otomatis dan asisten pustakawan berbasis kecerdasan buatan terbukti mampu meruntuhkan hambatan kognitif dan fisik yang selama ini membatasi akses terhadap ilmu pengetahuan. Pada akhirnya, inovasi desain gedung yang pro-difabel ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat informasi, tetapi juga sebagai laboratorium sosial yang menumbuhkan budaya empati dan kesetaraan. artikel ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan literasi tanpa hambatan di lingkungan madrasah sangat bergantung pada sinergi antara teknologi yang manusiawi dan arsitektur yang peduli, yang secara kolektif memastikan bahwa jendela dunia terbuka lebar bagi seluruh siswa tanpa terkecuali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjembatani tataran konsep pemikiran sejarah dari seorang sosiolog bernama Malik Bennabi untuk dapat menjadi landasan bagi peningkatan kualitas guru sejarah Islam dan guru mata pelajaran SKI di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode dalam studi ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Sumber referensi yang digunakan adalah buku karya Malik Bennabi, buku dan jurnal terkait pemikirannya serta jurnal yang membahas kompetensi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru sejarah Islam yang ideal menurut pemikiran sejarah Malik Bennabi bertolak pada kemampuan intelektualitas sejarah yang membangun kompetensi-kompetensi kependidikan guru sejarah Islam. Guru Sejarah Islam penting untuk memiliki pemikiran mendalam, utuh dan tepat tentang sejarah peradaban Islam dimana materi sejarah ditempatkan sebagai materi ilmiah yang hidup dan refleksi moral dalam skala peradaban. Kemampuan intelektual sejarah tersebut kemudian membangun kompetensi guru agar dapat mendidik peserta didik untuk tidak hanya cerdas dalam kognitif dan mulia dalam moral namun juga handal untuk menjadi pelaku sejarah di masa depan melanjutkan peradaban Islam.
