Abstract

COVID-19 cases in Indonesia are increasing as of April 10, reaching 3512 people who have been declared infected with COVID-19, with a death toll of 306 people (8.71%). One of the prevention efforts is to use mask and hand sanitizer and increase immunity status through consumption of nutritious food and drinks. Prevention efforts will work well if we invite the public to participate actively, one of which is the Khosya Berbagi community in Banjarbaru.This activity aims to distribute masks, hand sanitizers and nutritious drinks to the people of Banjarbaru and Martapura, especially those who are vulnerable and have a high risk of being infected with COVID-19. The methods used include identifying people who are prone to infection and have a high risk of infection, making mask, COVID-19 prevention stickers, packaging mask and nutritious drinks, namely honey and milk, followed by distributing gifts to the community. This activity has succeeded in distributing 500 packages consisting of cloth mask, nutritious drinks and hand sanitizer to small traders, pedicab drivers, motorcycle taxi drivers, and road cleaners in Banjarbaru and Martapura. This parcel is also equipped with stickers on efforts to prevent COVID-19. It is hoped that this activity can help people protect themselves from COVID-19.

Abstract

Abstract: Belimbing wuluh fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) has potential secondary metabolites potentially as ovicides and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) such as saponins, tannins, flavonoids and terpenoids. This study aims analyze activity of the ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) as an ovicide and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) against Ae. aegypti. The research is experimental with a completely randomized design method (CRD) consist of seven treatment groups and 4 replications. The ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh fruit has activity as an ovicide with concentrations of 0.04%, 0.05%, 0.07%, 0.12% and 0.18% are 37%, 49%, 59%, 72% and 75%. The results of the One Way Anova test is a significance value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh fruit has activity as IGR by inhibiting the emergence of adult mosquitoes, at a concentration of 0.04% by 99% and at a concentration of 0.05%, 0.07%, 0.12% and 0.18% at 100%. Keywords: Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), ovicide, belimbing wuluh fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.), Aedes aegypti Abstrak: Buah belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) diketahui mengandung metabolit sekunder seperti saponin, tannin, flavonoid dan terpenoid yang berpotensi sebagai ovisida dan Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis aktivitas ekstrak etanol buah belimbing wuluh sebagai ovisida & Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) terhadap nyamuk Ae. aegypti. Jenis pemelitian ini merupakan eksperimental dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan tujuh kelompok perlakuan dan 4 replikasi. Aktivitas ovisida Ekstrak etanol buah belimbing wuluh di konsentrasi 0,04%, 0,05%, 0,07%, 0,12% dan 0,18% adalah sebesar 37%, 49%, 59%, 72% dan 75%. Pada uji One Way Anova diperoleh signifikasi p= 0,000. Abstract

 Abstract: DHF is an infaction caused by dengue virus which difused all over the world included Indonesia. Furthermore, effort made to decrease dengue fever case with controlling the mosquito vector such as hold the mosquito eradication. Adult mosquitos Aedes aegypti population influenced by mosquito larvae existence, several factor that influenced the mosquito larvae existence are temperature and humidity. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the temperature relationship and room humidity with Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae existance. The writing was made by literature review method that is narrative review with Indonesia article search on Google Scholar database and Garuda which published in last 10 years. In addition to the article used in this literature review, there are about 15 article with temperature, humidity, Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae keyword. The results of a review of 15 article, found that 20% of article stated that temperature was associated with the presence of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae and 60% of articles stated that humidity was related to the presence of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. Keywords: temperature, humidity, Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. Abstrak: DBD merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang tersebar diseluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi kejadian DBD adalah dengan cara pengendalian nyamuk vektor seperti melakukan kegiatan PSN. Populasi nyamuk dewasa Aedes aegypti dipengaruhi oleh keberadaan jentik nyamuk, beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keberadaan jentik nyamuk diantaranya suhu dan kelembaban. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk menganalisis hubungan suhu dan kelembaban ruangan dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penulisan dilakukan dengan metode literature review yaitu narrative review dengan penelusuran artikel berbahasa Indonesia pada database Google Scholar dan Garuda yang diterbitkan dalam 10 tahun terakhir. Artikel yang digunakan dalam literature review ini sebanyak 15 artikel dengan menggunakan kata kunci suhu, kelembaban, jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Hasil tinjauan terhadap 15 artikel, ditemukan 20% artikel  yang  menyatakan bahwa suhu berhubungan dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan 60% artikel menyatakan kelembaban berhubungan dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Kata-kata kunci: Suhu, kelembaban, jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti.

Abstract

Abstract: Kasturi mango skin (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) has potentially secondary metabolites as larvicides. The aim of this study was to analyze effectivity of kasturi mango skin ethanol extract as larvicide toward Aedes aegypti larvae.  The experimental study used post-test only with control group design method with seven trials consist of five treatment group, is a serial concentration obtained from the preliminary test: concentration 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,4%,0,8% and 1,6%, positive control (temefos 1%), and negative control (pure water) which was given exposure 48 hour with 4 replications. Probit test resulted in LC50=0,328% and LC90=0,733%. Kruskal-Wallis test p=0,000, significant differences larvae mean mortality between the treatment groups and the control group and Mann-Whitney test p=1,000, no significant difference between concentraion 1,6%% with positive control. The conclusion of this experimental is kasturi mango skin (Mangifera casturi Kosterm) ethanol extract  has effectiveness as a larvicide equivalent to temephos 1% at a concentration of 1,6%.  Keywords: kasturi mango skin, larvicide, Aedes aegypti Abstrak: Kulit buah mangga kasturi mengandung metabolit sekunder yang berpotensi sebagai larvasida. Tujuan studi ini guna menganalisis efektivitas ekstrak etanol kulit buah mangga kasturi (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) terhadap larva Aedes aegypti. Penelitian eksperimental menggunakan metode post-test only with control group design dengan tujuh kelompok percobaan yang tediri dari lima kelompok perlakuan yaitu serial konsentrasi yang diperoleh dari uji pendahuluan: konsentrasi 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,4%,0,8% dan 1,6%, kontrol positif (temefos 1%), dan kontrol negatif (air murni) yang diberikan paparan selama 48 jam dengan 4 kali ulangan. Abstract

Abstract: Pediculosis capitis is a health problem throughout the world, especially in school children who live in dorm. Personal hygiene is an important aspect in determining health status and age is one of the factors that influence health behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and personal hygiene with the incidence of pediculosis capitis in Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School. The research method is observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample size of 50 respondents was using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The results of the statistical test for age is p=0.003; PR=1,67 and personal hygiene is p=0.001; PR=0,64, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between age and personal hygiene with the incidence of pediculosis capitis in Darul Hijrah Islamic Boarding School Martapura. Keywords:  pediculosis capitis, age, personal hygiene. Abstrak: Pedikulosis kapitis menjadi masalah kesehatan di seluruh dunia terutama pada anak sekolah yang tinggal di asrama. Personal hygiene merupakan aspek penting dalam menentukan status kesehatan dan usia merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan usia dan personal hygiene dengan kejadian pedikulosis kapitis di Pesantren Darul Hijrah Puteri Martapura. Metode penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Besar sampel 50 responden dengan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil uji statistik untuk usia didapatkan nilai p=0,003; PR=1,67 dan personal hygiene didapatkan nilai p= 0,001; PR=0,64, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara usia dan personal hygiene dengan kejadian pedikulosis kapitis di Pesantren Darul Hijrah Puteri Martapura. Kata-kata kunci: pedikulosis kapitis, usia, personal hygiene.

Abstract

Abstract: The Aedes aegypti mosquito is a vector that causes Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Vector mosquito control to break the chain of transmission is by smoking, larvacide, ovisida, electric mosquito repellent and DEET. This writing is done by analyzing related literature obtained from the search results in the database of medical journals, namely PubMed – MEDLINE, Science Biomed, and Google Scholar. Articles included in Both English and Indonesian and published in 2004-2019. A total of 6 articles are included in this literature review. Celery provides 100% protection in the first I50 minutes with 0nly 0ne t0 two bites in the next 30 minutes of exposure. The literature review aims t0 determine the activity of celery (Apium graveolens) as a repelen against Ae mosquitoes. aegypti. Based on a review from the journal above stated the content of celery potentially as a mosquito repellent Ae. aegypti, especially in celery seeds, stems and leaves with active ingredients that support in it such as flavanoids, alkaloids, tannins, and essential oils.  Keywords: apium graveolens, celery, repellency, Aedes aegypti. Abstrak: Nyamuk Aedes aegypti merupakan vektor penyebab Demam Berdarah Dengue. Pengendalian nyamuk vektor untuk memutus rantai penularan adalah dengan pengasapan, larvasida, ovisida, obat nyamuk elektrik dan DEET. Penulisan ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis literatur terkait yang didapatkan dari hasil pencarian pada database jurnal kedokteran, yaitu PubMed – MEDLINE, Science Biomed, dan Google Scholar. Artikel yang disertakan menggunakan bahasa Inggris  maupun Indonesia dan dipublikasikan pada tahun 2004-2019. Sebanyak 6 artikel disertakan pada literature review ini. Seledri memberikan perlindungan 100% dalam 150 menit pertama dengan hanya satu hingga dua gigitan dalam paparan 30 menit berikutnya. Penulisan literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas seledri (Apium graveolens) sebagai repelen terhadap nyamuk Ae. aegypti. Berdasarkan review dari jurnal diatas menyatakan kandungan seledri berpotensi sebagai pengusir nyamuk Ae. aegypti, khususnya pada biji seledri, batang dan daun dengan kandungan bahan aktif yang menunjang di dalamnya seperti flavanoid, alkaloid, tanin, dan minyak atsiri. Kata-kata kunci: apium graveolens, daun seledri, repelen, Aedes aegypti.

Abstract

Abstract: Malaria is also called vector born disease because it is transmitted through vectors. The potential vector of this disease is the Anopheles sp. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the ethanol extract of the red bajakah root (Spatholobus littoralis hassk) as an antimalarial in vitro against Plasmodium falciparum. This research is an experimental study with Posttest Only with Control Group Design and consists of 6 treatment groups: 5 extract concentrations, namely concentrations of 0,391 μg/ml, 0,781 μg/ml, 1,562 μg/ml, 3,125 μg/ml, 6,25 μg/ml and a solution DMSO as a negative control. The treatment was carried out with 3 replications. Based on the results of research and data processing, the ethanolic extract of the red bajakah root (Spatholobus littoralis hassk) has effectiveness as an antimalarial against Plasmodium falciparum with an IC50 value of14,877 g/ml which is included in the active category. Keywords : antimalaria, red bajakah root, Plasmodium falciparum Abstrak: Malaria disebut juga vector born disease dikarenakan penularannya melalui vektor. Vektor potensial dari penyakit ini adalah nyamuk Anopheles sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas ekstrak etanol akar bajakah merah (Spatholobus littoralis hassk) sebagai antimalaria secara in vitro terhadap Plasmodium falciparum. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimental dengan Posttest Only with Control Group Design dan terdiri dari 6 kelompok perlakuan: 5 konsentrasi ekstrak yaitu konsentrasi 0,391 μg/ml, 0,781 μg/ml, 1,562 μg/ml, 3,125 μg/ml, 6,25 μg/ml dan larutan DMSO sebagai kontrol negatif. Perlakuan dilakukan dengan 3 kali replikasi. Abstract

Abstract: The case of COVID-19 continues to increase. Health protocols are being promoted by the government in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and adherence to the 3M health protocol with the incidence of COVID-19 in Banjarmasin City. This study used an analytic observational method in the form of a case control in Pemurus Dalam Public Health Center in Banjarmasin City using a questionnaire distributed via a google form link, the data were analyzed using the chi square test. The results showed that subjects in the case group 43% had poor knowledge and 12% did not comply with health protocols when compared to the control group which only had a little bad knowledge (11%) and more who obeyed health protocols (91%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant correlation (p value < 0,050) between knowledge and compliance with the 3M health protocol with the incidence of COVID-19 in Pemurus Dalam Community Health Center in 2021. Keywords: knowledge, compliance, health protocol, incidence, COVID-19 Abstrak: Jumlah kasus COVID-19 terus meningkat. Protokol kesehatan sedang digalakkan oleh pemerintah dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan protokol kesehatan 3M dengan kejadian COVID-19 di Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik berupa case control di Puskesmas Pemurus Dalam Kota Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui link google form, data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek pada kelompok kasus 43% memiliki pengetahuan kurang dan 12% tidak mematuhi protokol kesehatan jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang hanya memiliki sedikit pengetahuan buruk (11%) dan lebih banyak yang mematuhi protokol kesehatan (91%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p value < 0,050) antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan protokol kesehatan 3M dengan kejadian COVID-19 di Puskesmas Pemurus Dalam Tahun 2021. Kata-kata kunci: pengetahuan, kepatuhan, protokol kesehatan, kejadian, COVID-19

Abstract

Abstract: Theooccurrence ofaanemia in pregnantwwomen remains high. The prevalence of anemia in pregnanttwomennaround thewworld is 41.8%, while in Indonesia is 48.9% and in East Kelayan Puskesmas Banjarmasin throughout 2018 by 48.37% categorized as the highest rate among all districts in Banjarmasin. The purpose of this study was to determineethe association of obstetric factors (parity, pregnancy intervals, and history of abortion) with the occurrence of anemia in pregnant women at the East Kelayan Puskesmas Banjarmasin. This study used an observational analytic method with cross-sectional approach. The sample include 50 pregnant women in their firstttrismester of pregnancy (pure K1). The sampling technique is done by systematic randommsampling. The test used was the chi-square test and the Fisher test. The results of the chi-square test analysis on parity showed p = 0.001, on pregnancy interval showed p = 0,000, and on history of abortion showed p = 0,000. Obstetric factors using the fisher test showed the results of p = 0,000. Abstract

Abstract: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) is a disease that can be transmitted through mosquito bites with a potential vector in the form of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. DHF transmission can be prevented by controlling the mosquito vector itself, one of which is the use of larvicides. However, the continuous use of larvicides can cause a resistant effect, so we need a natural larvicide that can be used by the community. This aim of this sttudy is to recogniize the effectiveness of the ethanol extract of jeringau leaves (Acorus calamus L) as a larvicide against Aedes aegypti larvae. This study is an experimental study with Posttest Only with Control Group Design and consists of 7 treatment groups: 5 extract concentrations, are 0,01%, 0,05%, 0,10%, 0,15% and 0,20%; negative control (pure water); positive control (temephos 1%). The treatments were exposed to third instar larvae for 24 hours with 4 repetitions. The result of the observation data were analyzed using the probit test and obtained LC50 value 0,035% and LC90 value 0,074%. Kruskal-Wallis test resultsed p = 0,000 and the Mann-Whitney test obtained p = 1,000, so there was no significant difference between the concentration of 0.01% with negative control and the concentration of 0,15% and 0.20% with positive control. The conclusion of this study is that the ethanol extract of jeringau leaves has larvacidal effectiveness against Ae. Aegypti larvae at a concentration of 0,05%, 0,10%, 0,15% and 0,20% with an LC50 value of 0,035% and LC90 of 0,074% and had a larvacidal effectiveness equivalent to 1% temefos at a concentration of 0.15% and 0.20%. Keywords: larvacide, jeringau leaves, Aedes aegypti Abstrak: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang dapat menular melalui gigitan nyamuk dengan vektor potensialnya berupa nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penularan DBD dapat dicegah dengan pengendalian vektor nyamuk itu sendiri, salah satunya adalah penggunaan larvasida. Namun, penggunaan larvasida yang terus-menerus dapat menyebabkan efek resisten sehingga diperlukan suatu larvasida alami yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak etanol daun jeringau (Acorus calamus L) sebagai larvasida terhadap larva Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimental dengan Posttest Only with Control Group Design dan terdiri dari 7 kelompok perlakuan: 5 konsentrasi ekstrak yaitu 0,01%, 0,05%, 0,10%,0,15% dan 0,20%; kontrol negatif berupa air murni; kontrol positif berupa temefos 1%. Perlakuan dipaparkan terhadap larva instar III selama 24 jam dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan uji probit dan didapatkan LC50 sebesar 0,035% dan LC90 sebesar 0,074%. Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis didapatkan p=0,000 dan hasil uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan p=1,000, sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara konsentrasi 0,01% dengan kontrol negatif serta konsentrasi 0,15% dan 0,20% dengan kontrol positif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ekstrak etanol daun jeringau memiliki efektivitas larvasida terhadap larva Ae. aegypti pada konsentrasi 0,05%, 0,10%, 0,15% dan 0,20% dengan nilai LC50 sebesar 0,035% serta LC90 sebesar 0,074%, dan memiliki efektivitas larvasida setara dengan temefos 1% pada konsentrasi 0,15% dan 0,20% . Kata-kata kunci: larvasida, daun jeringau, Aedes aegypti
