Abstract

The main issue in the learning process of the Retail Fashion Business Management course lies in the use of learning media, which currently consists of PowerPoint slides that only present key points, making them less engaging and failing to stimulate students' reading interest. This study aims to develop a more interactive and engaging microlearning-based video as a learning medium and to evaluate its feasibility. The research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The resulting product is a series of microlearning videos accessible through the YouTube platform, intended to provide a more flexible and comprehensible learning experience. The feasibility of the media was assessed by two subject matter experts and two media experts using a questionnaire instrument. Validation results indicate that the developed learning media is highly feasible, with a feasibility score of 92.5% from subject matter experts and 85.93% from media experts. The conclusion of this study is that microlearning-based video media is effective for use in the Retail Fashion Business Management course. The scientific contribution of this research lies in offering an alternative digital learning model that aligns with the characteristics of digital-native learners and enriching the repertoire of interactive media in vocational education, particularly in the development of managerial competencies in the retail fashion sector.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial emosional merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang sangat penting bagi setiap anak karena salah satu faktor penentu kesuksesannya di masa depan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari kegiatan pembelajaran anak kelompok B yang hanya sebatas pada lembar kerja anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial emosional melalui kegiatan meronce pada anak usia dini POS PAUD KENARI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), tahapan kegiatan penelitian ini yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Keempat tahapan tersebut dilaksanakan dua siklus. Dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 anak di kelompok B. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dengan rumus persentase. Hasil dari tindakan kelas terdapat peningkatan dalam sosial emosional diantaranya anak bermain dengan teman sebaya, mau berbagi dengan orang lain, menghargai karya orang lain, mau bekerjasama dan menunjukkan sikap toleran. Peningkatan sosial emosional yang diamati dari pra siklus dan pasca siklus. Skor rata-rata pra siklus yaitu 32,05% meningkat 67,25 % siklusI. Skor tersebut terus mengalami peningkatan yang baik hingga 79,25 % siklus II. Hasil penelitian sudah dianggap berhasil. Dengan demikian, kegiatan meronce dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional pada anak usia dini di POS PAUD Kenari. Social-emotional development is a crucial aspect of early childhood growth, as it significantly contributes to future success and overall well-being. The limited learning activities for Group B children, primarily restricted to worksheets, motivated this study. This research aimed to improve the social-emotional skills of early childhood learners at POS PAUD Kenari through beading (stringing) activities. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle comprised three sessions. The subjects of this study were 10 children in Group B. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques with percentage calculations. The results indicated improvements in children's social-emotional skills, including playing cooperatively with peers, willingness to share, appreciation of others' work, cooperation, and tolerance. The average pre-cycle score was 32.05%, which increased to 67.25% in Cycle I and further rose to 79.25% in Cycle II. These results indicate that the beading activity effectively enhanced the social-emotional skills of early childhood learners at POS PAUD Kenari.

Abstract

The compensation system is one of the important aspects in human resource management that is designed to motivate, attract and retain employees. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current compensation system in Chickenin Saozan with a focus on looking at the relationship between the compensation system and the level of employee job satisfaction. This study was conducted with a qualitative research approach and type, where the data collection method was in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The study focused on evaluating the company's compensation system in Chickenin Saozan and the object of the study involved several aspects such as financial compensation, non-financial compensation and job satisfaction. The data analysis method in this study used a qualitative approach with a focus on data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the compensation system and bonus system provided by the company have not been able to meet employee expectations. The compensation standard is still too far from employee expectations and has not met the standards in force in Indonesia, which is 10-15% lower than the industry standard, while the bonus system tends to be uniform without considering individual performance. Non-compliance with regulations, especially regarding the provision of THR which does not reach one full month's salary, also has an impact on decreasing employee motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, faktor kesulitan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dasar desain kelas X di SMK, meliputi faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal terdiri dari motivasi, minat, pemahaman, dan faktor eksternal terdiri dari lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 31 peserta didik kelas X. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari uji validasi instrumen menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment terdapat 2 item pernyataan dinyatakan gugur, uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Croncbach terdapat nilai Alpha = 0,875. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar mata pelajaran dasar desain siswa kelas X tata busana dengan indikator motivasi termasuk dalam kategori cukup presentase 35%, minat termasuk dalam kategori cukup presentase 42%, pemahaman dalam kategori cukup dengan presentase 39%.  Faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar mata pelajaran dasar desain kelas X tata busana di SMK dengan hasil indikator lingkungan keluarga dalam kategori tinggi dengan presentase 52%, lingkungan sekolah dalam kategori tinggi dengan presentase 55%, lingkungan masyarakat dalam kategori tinggi dengan presentase 55%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor eksternal lebih tinggi mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar dibandingkan dengan faktor internal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning outcomes on industrial fashion-making subjects on students' entrepreneurial motivation. This research is an ex post facto type of research. The population of this study was 91 students majoring in fashion class XI, the sample was 72 students. The data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques and hypothesis testing using the Product Moment correlation test which is preceded by the analysis prerequisite test, namely normality and linearity tests. The results showed that there was a positive influence between the learning outcomes of industrial fashion-making subjects on the motivation for entrepreneurship in class XI Fashion Design with a rcount of 0.522 which was greater than the rtable, which was 0.232. The learning outcomes of the subjects of industrial fashion making, most of the students of class XI Fashion Design are classified as good with a relative frequency of 64.28% % The entrepreneurial motivation of most of the students of class XI Fashion Design is in sufficient category with a relative frequency of 51.43%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is descriptively to find out: 1) The contribution of teaching factory learning outcome to the work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise in the Academic Year of 2022/2023, 2) The results of teaching factory learning in class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at Yogyakarta 6th State Vocational High School Academic Year of 2022/2023, and 3) Work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at State Vocational High School 6 Yogyakarta Academic Year of 2022/2023. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is 142 students of class XI in the field of culinary expertise. The research sample consists of 58 students using a proportional random sampling technique with the slovin formula. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. Testing the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation with n = 30 of 20 statement items and obtained 17 valid items and 3 failed items (No. 3, 4, and 8), the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha on the student work culture variable (Y) with a value coefficient 0.824. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques and product moment correlation which is preceded by a prerequisite test, namely the normality test and linearity test. The results of the study show that (1) there is a contribution between teaching factory learning outcomes on the work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the Academic Year of 2022/2023 with a determinant coefficient calculation of 0.117. This is indicated by the results of the value of r count = 0.342 > r table = 0.254, (2) The results of teaching factory learning in class XI in culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year are included in the good category with a relative frequency of 98.3%, (3) The work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the Academic Year of 2022/2023 is included in the high category with a relative frequency of 48%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an instructional video teaching basic sewing techniques to fashion students in grade X. Another objective is to assess the effectiveness of the video and understand student responses. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using a Four-D validator approach. The validator includes media experts, subject matter specialists, and feedback from a small scale of six students and a limited scale of 30 participants. Research findings indicate that the 9-minute instructional video covering basic techniques such as blanket stitch, whip stitch, back stitch, and chain stitch can be utilized both online and offline. The video media is deemed suitable with expert ratings of 85% for media experts and 86% for subject matter specialists. With student responses reaching 93% in the small scale and 84% in the limited scale, indicating a "strongly agree" category, it can be concluded that the instructional video for sewing techniques is highly recommended for use in basic sewing subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of learning difficulties of class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Godean Sleman Yogyakarta in the 2024/2025 Academic Year in making clothing patterns. The population of this study was 102 class X fashion design students. The research sample was 50 students using the Slovin formula. Data collection used a questionnaire via Google Form and documentation. The instrument was tested for validity (product moment) and reliability (Cronbach's alpha). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that the difficulty of learning to make clothing patterns in the difficult category with a relative frequency of 60.00%, namely: 1) in taking the size of the skirt construction technique is difficult category with a frequency of 42.00%, 2) in making basic skirt patterns using the construction technique is difficult category with a frequency of 58.00%, and 3) in making broken skirt patterns construction technique is very difficult category with a frequency of 78.00%. The conclusion is that the level of learning difficulties of class X students in making clothing patterns using the construction technique is difficult category.

Abstract

This study explores the development of Generation Z’s work character through the implementation of the Among Learning System in vocational education. Employing a qualitative research methodology based on library research and literature review, the study critically examines existing theories and practices related to character building, generational characteristics, and innovative learning models within vocational contexts. The Among Learning System, rooted in cultural and communal learning traditions, emphasizes holistic personal development, including ethics, discipline, responsibility, and collaboration—key attributes for preparing Gen Z students for the dynamic world of work. The analysis reveals that integrating culturally grounded learning methods like the Among Learning System effectively nurtures essential work ethics and soft skills among vocational students. This system fosters not only technical competence but also interpersonal and intrapersonal skills that are critical for employability and professional success. Findings from the literature highlight the challenges Gen Z faces in adapting to workplace demands, such as digital distractions, preference for instant gratification, and diverse learning needs. The Among Learning System addresses these challenges by promoting self-regulation, communal responsibility, and reflective practices within the learning environment. This study contributes to vocational education by offering a framework for educators and policymakers to incorporate culturally relevant pedagogies that align with Gen Z’s unique characteristics. It also underscores the importance of character education alongside technical skills development in vocational training to produce well-rounded, resilient graduates ready to meet future workforce challenges. Further empirical research is recommended to validate these theoretical findings and explore the practical implementation of the Among Learning System across diverse vocational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics and behavior of the target market and the marketing strategies implemented by the home industry of flat sandals in Ciomas, Bogor. The research method used was qualitative, with data collection techniques through direct interviews with flat sandal producers. The results show that this home industry has been established since 1992 and produces sandals that are popular with various groups, from teenagers to adults. Consumers choose these products for their comfort, diverse designs, and affordable prices. The marketing strategy implemented is still traditional, namely through direct sales and collaboration with partner stores. However, product quality is a key factor in retaining existing customers and attracting new buyers. The obstacle faced by producers is limited customer data, so market analysis cannot be carried out optimally. This study recommends that producers begin implementing digital marketing strategies and recording consumer data to expand market reach and increase business competitiveness in the future.
