Abstract

This community service (PKM) was carried out by students of IAI Darussalam Martapura, Early Childhoood Islamic Education study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah. To better understand the methods and media that should be taught to early childhood. The purpuse of this community service is so that prospective educators and educators understand more about the learning that will be carried out for early childhood through interesting media and methods so that children do not get bored easily in following the learning. The methods used are teaching, discussions and mentoring to students and teachers who have been invited, namely KB Aisyah and KB Cempaka Putih.

Abstract

The Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) is a derived product of crude palm oil that has twofraction (olein and stearin) in ambient temperature. This research aim to analyze the variation of treatmenton the RBDPO. The design of research was non-factorial completely randomized with three variable oftreatment such the RBDPO with glycerol (A), the RBDPO (B) and the RBDPO with lipase enzyme. Theconcentration of glycerol, ester, mono- and diglyceride was tested by Gas Chromatography method. The datawere analyzed by using descriptive method with boxplot and histogram. The result showed that the highestconcentration of glycerol; ester; mono- and diglyceride respectively were showed in treatment B (1,5922%);C (9,5699%); C (0,1783%); C (3,3329). The boxplot graphic described the differences among the treatmentthat the RBDPO with lipase enzyme had the most extensive concentration of glycerol, ester, mono- anddiglyceride.

Abstract

This public servive is conducted by the team of Faculty of Cultural Studies, The University of Sumatera Utara with Ar-Ridho women gatherings, Tanjung Morawa. They have not yet fluently read the Koran Verses (Juz 30) and safe short prayers, and still reluctant to come to the gatherings due to being afraid of the pandemic era. It is aimed to describe methods to overcome corona virus through religious aspects to Ar-Ridho women gatherings. It is expected they are able to approach Allah so that they have high surrender. Being calm can increase body immunity that make them possess self-confidence to attend the gatherings once a week. The methods adopted are lectures, discussion, and demonstration. To solve the problems the team give the Koran reading materials and safe prayers with their meanings. The women, then, are asked to repeat the reading. The results show they have been able to read the Koran and short prayers, and understand the meanings so that they can feel peaceful, calm, and finally it can make their body immunity stronger. The team, then, give lessons like the above way once in a month so that it can lead to be quiet and pleasant in the society.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the scaffolding method in improving student learning outcomes on the material of respecting parents at SDN 101943 Bengkel, Perbaungan District. Scaffolding is a learning strategy that provides gradual guidance to students until they can understand the material independently. In this study, the method used was classroom action research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews to assess the development of student understanding before and after the implementation of scaffolding. The results showed that the scaffolding method contributed positively to improving students' understanding of the material of respecting parents. The support provided by the teacher, such as guiding questions, concrete examples, and group discussions, helped students build better understanding. In addition, students became more active in the learning process and were able to internalize the moral values ​​taught. In conclusion, the systematic and sustainable application of the scaffolding method can improve student learning outcomes, especially in material related to moral values. Therefore, this method can be an effective learning alternative at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the scaffolding method in improving student learning outcomes on the material about the characteristics of the prophet at SDN 096466 Pematang Gajing Scaffolding is a learning method that provides support to students gradually as they learn. This support can be in the form of content, processes, and learning strategies that provide gradual guidance to students until they can understand the material independently. In this study, the method used was classroom action research (CAR) by adjusting the level of teaching according to students' cognitive abilities. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews to assess the development of student understanding before and after the implementation of scaffolding. The results showed that the scaffolding method contributed positively to improving students' understanding of the material about the characteristics of the prophet. The support provided by the teacher by providing direction and support by providing direct and easy-to-understand examples and using fun teaching materials so as to help students build a good understanding in order to stimulate students to be able to understand and solve their own problems. In addition, students become more active in the learning process and are able to learn and instill the characteristics of the prophet in everyday life. In conclusion, the implementation of the scaffolding method systematically and continuously can improve student learning outcomes, especially in materials related to moral values. Therefore, this method can be an effective learning alternative at the elementary school level

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the scaffolding method in improving learning outcomes of mutual respect material at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Malela. The scaffolding method was chosen because it provides learning support that is gradual and adjusted to the development of students' abilities, making it easier for them to understand and internalize the values ​​of mutual respect. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design involving grade VIII students as research objects. The instruments used to collect data were learning outcome tests and observations of student interactions during the learning process. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the scaffolding method had a significant positive impact on improving student learning outcomes, both in terms of knowledge about mutual respect material and their attitudes towards others. This improvement is reflected in changes in students' attitudes and better understanding of the importance of mutual respect in everyday life. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the scaffolding method is effective in improving the quality of learning and shaping students' character. Therefore, it is recommended that the scaffolding method be applied more widely in schools to improve learning outcomes and shape students' character who are more respectful of others

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the scaffolding method in improving learning outcomes of zakat material for grade VI students of SD 091265 Dolok Malela. The scaffolding method is a learning strategy that provides gradual support to students according to their needs until they are able to understand and master the material independently. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving two groups of students: an experimental group that is given learning using the scaffolding method and a control group that uses conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests before and after treatment and observations during the learning process. Data analysis showed that students in the experimental group experienced a more significant increase in understanding compared to the control group. The results of this study confirm that the application of the scaffolding method can help students understand the concept of zakat better, increase their involvement in the learning process, and motivate them to be more active in exploring the material. Thus, the scaffolding method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes and can be used as an alternative to a more interactive learning strategy in elementary schools, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The recommendation from this study is for teachers to apply the scaffolding method more widely in learning to improve the quality of student understanding and provide support that is appropriate to their level of cognitive development

Abstract

The Arabic language has become strategically important in the era of globalization, which demands multilingual competence. However, developing Arabic speaking skills is often perceived as complex and uninteresting for students. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Methods, precisely the Group Investigations approach, in enhancing students' Arabic speaking abilities in secondary schools. This study employs a mixed-method approach. The research sample consists of 30 eighth-grade students from a secondary school. The results indicate that cooperative learning methods, particularly the Group Investigations approach, can effectively improve students' Arabic speaking abilities. These findings underscore the importance of adopting engaging and student-involved teaching methods in the Arabic language learning process in the classroom

Abstract

This article aims to discuss delves into the phenomenon of Sikambang pantun as a cultural heritage of coastal communities. This research aims to explore the characteristics, typology, and socio-cultural functions of Sikambang pantun within the context of life in Barus, Tapanuli Tengah, and Sibolga. By employing a historical research approach with systematic methodological stages comprising heuristic (source collection), source criticism, interpretation, and explanation this study identifies and analyzes various types of Sikambang pantun. The examined typology includes love pantun, advisory pantun, religious pantun, and other variations reflecting the richness of local cultural expression. Sikambang is far more than a traditional literary work; it serves as a significant medium of cultural communication within coastal societies. It functions as a channel for conveying life messages, a vessel for preserving traditional proverbs, a medium for documenting community narratives, an instrument of social communication, and a reflection of the lives and cultural identities of coastal communities. Its existence transcends mere poetic aesthetics, acting instead as a bridge connecting generations, transmitting noble values, and preserving local wisdom. This research provides meaningful academic contributions to understanding local cultural dynamics, particularly the literary expression of Sikambang pantun in the coastal regions of Barus, Tapanuli Tengah, and Sibolga. Through in-depth analysis, this study reveals the complexity and profound meanings embedded in each pantun, demonstrating that traditional literary art is not merely a relic of the past but a living document that continues to evolve and hold relevance.

Abstract

Abstrak SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru merupakan salah satu sekolah yang mementingkan pembinaan akhlak siswa. Salah satu cara yang dilakukan untuk membina akhlak siswa yaitu dengan mengadakan kegiatan jum’at taqwa yang di dalamnya di isi dengan kegiatan keagamaan, seperti membaca yasin, sholawat kamilah dan tausiah agama mengenai akhlakul karimah. Pembinaan akhlak yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru tersebut menumbuhkan kepribadian siswa yang sesuai dengan tujuan sekolah.Adapun permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana metode pembinaan akhlak siswa di SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru dan bagaimana hasil dari pembinaan akhlak siswa di SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjeknya yaitu guru dan siswa SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru. Objeknya yaitu pembinaan jum’at taqwa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun untuk teknik pengolahan data yaitu editing, klasifikasi data dan interpretasi data. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pelaksanaan pembinaan akhlak siswa melalui jum’at taqwa di SMP Negeri 12 Banjarbaru sudah terlaksana dengan baik, karena kegiatan itu dilaksanakan rutin setiap pagi jum’at pada jam pertama. Keteladanan guru yang membimbing siswa sudah baik. Untuk keteladanan guru yang mengawasi saat kegiatan berlangsung sudah berjalan dengan baik dan dalam memberikan contoh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sudah baik. Kepribadian yang timbul dari adanya kegiatan pembinaan ini yaitu menjadikan siswa saling menghargai satu sama lain.Kata kunci: Pembinaan, Akhlak, Jum’at Taqwa
