Abstract

This study aimed to explain the process of  internalization of entrepreneurship values to students, to identify the entrepreneurship values of  students, and to explain the output produced from establishing the entrepreneurial value of  students at the Al Fahham Islamic Boarding School. This study was qualitative research that used interviews, observation, and documentation to collect the data. The respondents in this study were cottage caretakers, 2 administrators, and 8 students. Data collected were analyzed through the process of  data reduction with select methods related to the goal of  this research. Then, the result of  data reduction was presented in a systematic, easy so this could be understood easily with a draft or theory. Furthermore, the data could be concluded based on the goal of  this research. This study describes data about the internalization process using the planning, acting, and evaluation theory. The values   of  santri entrepreneurs are explained by the concept of  indicators of  entrepreneurial attitudes. Meanwhile, taxonomic concepts are used in the form of  cognitive, affective, and psychomotor to explain the output or results. This study concluded that to realize students with entrepreneurial attitudes, the students needed to determine goals, programs, and proper evaluation methods. Al- Fahham Islamic boarding school’s goal was to create an entrepreneurial spirit in the students themselves and to create capable and skilled cadres of  students who serve the community. Implemented programs supported objective boarding schools, forming the Islamic Boarding School Business Unit (entrepreneurship) and giving spiritual motivation (spiritual). The evaluation was done at the Islamic boarding schools Al Fahham to create students’ entrepreneurial spirit through monthly income reports and appreciation with the method of  giving gifts (rewards) to successful students who reach beyond target income. Internalization process of entrepreneurship values to the students successfully grows up entrepreneur attitude such as discipline, sincerity, independence, hard work, religion, togetherness, caring, affection, simplicity, respect, courtesy, responsibility, and honesty. This value proved that it could help the pesantren alumni to have some skills needed by entrepreneurs, such as creative thinking skills, skills in making decisions to be independent, and leadership skills.

Abstract

This research raises a problem which is related to the character of children, especially in Indonesia in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. It must be realized that all parties, especially parents, play a role in creating a future generation of character or virtuous, religious, and good manners, to uphold civilized Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine the basis for the development of character education and character education models in the family in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a literature study and the method used is literature study (library research). The results obtained from this study are that in character education in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, attention must be paid to the basics of character development consisting of cognitive development, social development, and moral development. These developments can be instilled in children through character education in the family. In the cultivation of character, of course, must use a model that can direct the child towards the desired character. The model is a family-based character education model of Islamic perspective. In the model, the goal of character education in the family, character education program in the family, character education process in the family, and evaluation of character education in the family.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling religious values ​​when teaching students in the midst of a pandemic that is currently sweeping the world. This causes the learning system that is usually done directly or face-to-face to become online. This study uses a qualitative method, which describes the facts and phenomena that occur in the field. The Covid-19 virus, which originated in Wuhan, China, has a very rapid spread and has an impact on the whole world, one of which is Indonesia. The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as well as strata of society feel the consequences themselves, especially in the field of education, which causes schools to carry out the learning process at home or online. PAI teachers as educators must rack their brains about strategies in teaching students which are usually carried out face-to-face to online or online. In order to respond to this, there is a solution to what teachers can do, namely by using the WhatsApp media. With WhatsApp that is easy to access, it is hoped that teachers in delivering learning can be accepted and understood and do not reduce in terms of instilling religious values ​​of students.

Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the management of the formation of a research culture in MAN 2 Kudus students. The research is motivated by the lack of educational institutions that carry out research development. This research aims to determine the inclusion of research culture at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kudus, the MAN 2 Kudus Research Curriculum, and the management of establishing a MAN 2 Kudus research culture for its students. This type of research, in analyzing data, uses a qualitative approach with interviews and observations, intended for the researcher to reveal and describe in depth. The results of the research show that the introduction of research culture at MAN 2 Kudus began with Mr. and Mrs. Teachers of MAN 2 Kudus after returning from their academic research development training activities. g getting research academic assignments in its own madrasah, MAN 2 Kudus formed a Research curriculum to regulate the development of research culture in students, MAN 2 Kudus carried out stage management in forming a research culture in MAN 2 Kudus students by including research in local content subjects. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas mengenai manajemen pembentukan budaya riset (Research Culture) pada siswa MAN 2 Kudus. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya lembaga Pendidikan yang melakukan pengembangkan riset. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masuknya budaya riset di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kudus, Kurikulum Riset MAN 2 Kudus, dan manajemen pembentukan budaya riset MAN 2 Kudus bagi Siswanya. Jenis Penelitian ini dalam menngali data menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara dan Observasi, dimaksudkan agar peneliti mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan secara mendalam Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masuknya budaya riset di MAN 2 Kudus berawal dari  Bapak dan Ibu Guru MAN 2 Kudus  setelah pulang dari kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan akademik risetyan g mendapatkan tugas akedmik riset di madrasahnya sendiri, MAN 2 Kudus membentuk kurikulum Riset untuk mengatur perkembangan budaya penelitian pada siswa, MAN 2 Kudus melakukan manajemen tahapan tahapan dalam membentuk budaya riset pada siswa MAN 2 Kudus dengan memasukan Riset pada mata pelajaran muatan lokal. Abstract

Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School in Purwokerto is one of the Islamic boarding schools that strive for the national spirit of the students through a national space called Pancasila Corner. This study aims to describe the form of Pancasila Corner activities at Darul Abror Islamic Boarding School and the students’ national motivations through Pancasila Corner. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing data from interviews with students and boarding school administrators, field observations, and documentation. The results of this study are: The Pancasila Corner is a scientific forum for discussing Santri’s nationality that provides national literacy. The available national literacy includes historical, political, legal and human rights literacy and contemporary national discourse with academics as facilitators. Santri gets the strengthening of national values in the form of righteousness to God Almighty, the value of tolerance, the value of love for the homeland, the value of cooperation and democratic values.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the reasons for the culture of peace instilled in Islamic spiritual (rohis) activists and the role of rohis activists in cultivating a culture of peace. This field research took place in SMA Negeri 1 Purworejo. This qualitative research seeks to describe the data from the field related to the discussion. This research focuses on the implementation of rohis activities. To get the data, data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. All data were then analyzed in stages: reducing the data, presenting the data, and concluding the research results. Meanwhile, the data validity was checked by triangulation in two modes: multiple sources and methods. This study concluded that (1) the reasons for instilling the character of a culture of peace in rohis activists is that the teachings of Islam practiced are intolerant and contradict the values taken from the history of the school. (2) The role of rohis activists in cultivating a culture of peace was carried out in two steps, i.e., preventing the entry of intolerance and constructing new knowledge. This construction of new knowledge was conducted by internalizing the attitude of a culture of peace. The method was done using lectures, practice, and dialogue.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the method and evaluation of internalizing religious moderation at school. This research was qualitative and conducted at a senior high school in Purworejo. The researchers obtained the data from observation and interviews involving the students, teachers, vice principal, and headmaster. It investigated the teaching-learning methods and evaluation of the learning process. This study's results showed that four methods were used to internalize the values of religious moderation. They were the cooperation of the school elements, the learning process, strengthening the values in each student's activities, and the other activities, such as field trips. The evaluation of the internalization of religious moderation values in schools can be done through three evaluations. Formulating the four methods and three learning evaluations can be a model for learning religious moderation. Based on the research results, this research contributes to such a way that the school can adapt to internalize the values of religious moderation to the students.

Abstract

Youth Scientific Work (Karya Ilmiah Remaja; KIR) is an intra-school organization as an extracurricular at the junior high school, senior high school, madrasah and even Islamic boarding school (pesantren) level as a forum for developing student creativity and potential through scientific writing activities which have the main objective of advancing the development of student interests and talents. Through Youth Scientific Work, students have the opportunity to explore various topics that suit their interests, thus providing a richer and more satisfying learning experience. Therefore, the extracurricular Youth Scientific Work program can encourage students to think creatively and develop innovative ideas. This paper aims to find out the efforts to develop students' interests and talents at Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo Senior High School through the Youth Scientific Work extracurricular program. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with a focus on observation and interviews.  The findings of this study indicate that the Youth Scientific Work extracurricular program provides benefits and positive impacts on the development of students' interests and talents at Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo Senior High School. Through Youth Scientific Work, students' skills in both research and writing can be improved. Karya Ilmiah Remaja (KIR) merupakan organisasi intra sekolah sebagai ekstrakurikuler di tingkat SMP, SMA, Madrasah bahkan pondok pesantren, sebagai wadah pengembangan kreativitas dan potensi siswa melalui kegiatan penulisan karya ilmiah yang memiliki tujuan utama untuk memajukan pengembangan minat dan bakat siswa. Melalui KIR, siswa memiliki kesempatan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai topik yang sesuai dengan minat mereka, sehingga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kaya dan memuaskan. Oleh karena itu, program ekstrakurikuler KIR dapat mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan mengembangkan ide-ide inovatif. Artikel ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui upaya pengembangan minat dan bakat siswa di SMA Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo melalui program ekstrakurikuler KIR. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada observasi dan wawancara. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program ekstrakurikuler KIR memberi manfaat dan dampak positif bagi perkembangan minat dan bakat siswa di SMA Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo.
