Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interest and perceptions of teacher welfare among 52 respondents. Quantitative analysis revealed that 69.2% of respondents are highly interested in becoming teachers, while 30.8% are moderately interested. These findings reflect a strong commitment from the younger generation toward the teaching profession, despite significant concerns about financial welfare. Qualitative analysis identified two main themes: financial welfare and personal motivation. Many respondents felt that the salary they receive is not proportional to the responsibilities they bear, while intrinsic motivation, such as a desire to contribute to education, serves as a major driving factor in choosing this career. This study aligns with previous findings emphasizing the importance of financial welfare in job satisfaction for teachers but also offers new insights by highlighting personal motivation as a decisive factor. The conclusion of this research suggests that greater attention to teachers' financial welfare is necessary to attract high-quality individuals to the teaching profession and to create a better learning environment. Recommendations for policymakers include increasing compensation and support for teachers while considering their intrinsic motivations.

Abstract

The study is set back by curiosity about whether or not there is an impact of a student's learning method given by an educator in the development of student characteristics. The primary purpose of student characteristic research is to create an optimum learning environment for each student so that they can reach its maximum potential. To meet these demands we analyzed our curiosity by analyzing and observing some elementary school children and phasing information from various sources. From various sources and observations, it is regained that teachers must provide instruction and methods consistent with the needs of learners.

Abstract

This research discusses the development and shifting of curriculum in the modern era, highlighting the changing paradigm of education to address global needs and local challenges. The study traces the evolution of the curriculum, from traditional concepts to modern innovations such as the Merdeka Curriculum. Particular attention is paid to the integration of project-based approaches, learning flexibility and strengthening student character through the values of the Pancasila Student Profile. It also reviews the drivers and inhibitors of curriculum development, including teacher readiness, educational infrastructure, and social and cultural dynamics. Policy implications show the importance of collaboration between government, educators and communities to ensure the successful implementation of a relevant, inclusive and adaptive curriculum. This research offers strategic recommendations to build an education system that is able to respond to the demands of the digital era and the diversity of society.

Abstract

The development of information technology can have a major impact in various aspects of life, including education. Technology can have a positive impact, such as easy access to teaching materials and online learning if used properly. However, inappropriate use of technology can have a negative impact on students' attitudes, ethics and character. This study aims to analyze the influence of technology and social media use on student character building using the literature review method. Based on the results of the research, it is found that technology and social media have a negative influence on students' morals, communication and responsibility, so in this case education has an important role to manage the negative impacts that arise with moral education, habituation and exemplary.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in creating an advanced, dignified, and competitive society. As one of the key elements in the education process, teachers have an irreplaceable strategic role. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of teacher professionalism, while also offering recommendations that can be used by policy makers in designing effective teacher development programs. In addition, this study is also expected to be a reference for educators in reflecting on and improving the quality of their professionalism in accordance with the demands of the times. This study uses a library search approach (library research). This research method aims to provide an overview of teacher professionalism based on data obtained through literature reviews and primary data from respondents. The results of the study indicate that teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 5 Sungai Penuh still has several significant shortcomings. The results of the questionnaire showed that the majority of teachers have a good understanding of professionalism, especially in the dimensions of pedagogical and professional competence. The conclusion of this study is Most teachers have shown a good level of professionalism, especially in pedagogical and professional competence.

Abstract

Di era digital, kemampuan berpikir komputasional adalah keterampilan fundamental yang harus dikembangkan sejak usia dini. Anak-anak yang familiar dengan teknologi cenderung lebih mudah memahami konsep dasar komputasi seperti algoritma, logika, dan pemecahan masalah. Penggunaan alat bantu digital dan aktivitas bermain yang dirancang secara khusus dapat secara signifikan menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi para pendidik dan orang tua untuk secara strategis mengintegrasikan teknologi dan kegiatan komputasional ke dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk kegiatan dan media yang dapat digunakan dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Penelitian ini merupakan systematic literature review dengan pendekatan PRISMA. Literatur didapatkan dari berbagai perpustakaan digital seperti Google Scholar, Scopus, ResearchGate dan Springer yang terbit di antara 2018-2024. Berdasarkan 6 naskah terpilih, disebutkan bahwa terdapat berbagai kegiatan seperti permainan konvensional dan pemrograman yang digunakan untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Media yang digunakan antara lain building block, visual programming application dan robot.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas desain portofolio digital yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa non-Teknologi Informasi (non-TI) menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi heuristik berdasarkan 10 prinsip Nielsen. Portofolio digital yang dianalisis dibuat menggunakan platform Google Sites dan dievaluasi oleh tiga orang evaluator independen dengan menggunakan instrumen observasi berbasis heuristik. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan evaluatif. Sebanyak 25 portofolio dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pelanggaran prinsip desain antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan menyusun rekomendasi perbaikan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas portofolio memiliki pelanggaran pada tiga heuristik utama, yaitu Aesthetic and Minimalist Design (skor rata-rata 3,5), Consistency and Standards (3,1), dan Help and Documentation (3,0). Pelanggaran ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa non-TI cenderung mengutamakan aspek visual yang berlebihan tanpa mempertimbangkan keterbacaan, konsistensi navigasi, dan dukungan pengguna. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman tentang desain antarmuka masih rendah di kalangan mahasiswa non-TI dan menyarankan integrasi literasi desain UI ke dalam kurikulum atau pelatihan literasi digital. Evaluasi heuristik terbukti efektif sebagai metode asesmen cepat terhadap kualitas desain antarmuka karya digital mahasiswa

Abstract

Punden Rejo Village, located in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, possesses significant economic potential for the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) due to its strategic location along North Sumatra's main transportation routes. However, the majority of MSME operators in this village face constraints in adapting to digital technology, particularly in marketing and product branding, which have become vital necessities in the digital 4.0 era. One of the primary challenges is the limited graphic design skills, an essential element for attracting consumer interest through professional product packaging and promotional materials. This community service initiative aims to enhance the graphic design capabilities of MSME operators in Punden Rejo Village through training using Adobe Express application. The activity involved 30 local MSME operators as partners. The implementation methods included situation analysis through interviews and observations, development of training modules, and practical workshops conducted at the Punden Rejo Village Hall. The training program covered basic graphic design introduction, hands-on practice in creating product packaging designs, digital banners, and promotional posters using Adobe Express. The training results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' understanding and graphic design skills, reflected in their ability to produce attractive and targeted designs. Challenges related to device limitations and internet connectivity were addressed through an intensive mentoring approach. The use of Adobe Express proved effective as a graphic design solution for beginners, supporting the creativity of MSME operators in producing competitive designs for the digital market. This training is expected to encourage the sustainable digital transformation of MSMEs in Punden Rejo Village.

Abstract

Developing effective and interesting learning media is very important in the educational process, especially at the elementary school level. This article discusses the development of teaching materials for learning money arts specifically for elementary school children in the Malay, Karo and Simalungun families. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the model proposed by Borg and Gall. Research steps include initial research and information gathering, planning, product design development, initial field trials, product revisions, main field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The results of the research show that the use of developing fine arts teaching materials in learning is effective in increasing students' interest, understanding and artistic skills in regional fine arts. Students are more enthusiastic and creative in taking art lessons using learning media. Comparison of conventional methods. Teachers also find it easy to convey art material in a more interactive and interesting way. This learning media helps students learn more practically and contextually, which in turn increases their understanding of the material being taught. Thus, developing fine arts learning media can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of fine arts learning in elementary schools. It is hoped that this article can be a reference for educators in utilizing regional culture to create a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

Salah satu peramalan yang penting dilakukan dalam perusahaan Penyaluran Tenaga Kerja yaitu permintaan tenaga kerja setiap bulannya. Dengan mengetahui peramalan permintaan tenaga kerja, maka dapat membantu perusahaan dalam menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja yang seharusnya disediakan dikarenakan dalam setiap bulannya permintaan yang berubah-ubah dari pihak perusahaan mitra yang membutuhkan tenaga kerja. PT.Tamado Karya Mandiri adalah Perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang Penyaluran Tenaga Kerja atau lebih dikenal dengan Outsourcing. PT.Tamado Karya Mandiri melakukan penyaluran tenaga kerja berdasarkan permintaan dari perusahaan mitra yang bekerja sama.  PT.Tamado Karya Mandiri mengalami masalah penyaluran dikarenakan tidak stabilnya jumlah permintaan setiap bulannya. Peramalan manual yang dilakukan sering tidak akurat sehingga jumlah ketersediaan tenaga  tidak sesuai, terkadang melebihi ataupun terkadang melebihi jumlah permintaan dari mitra. Pada penelitian ini peramalan permintaan akan dilakukan pada PT.Tamado Karya Mandiri dengan menerapkan metode peramalan Simple Moving Average  dengan 2 periode.
