Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of financial literacy education on children's economic decision-making. This type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The inclusion criteria in this study are 1) data from national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Scopus, 2) research published in 2021-2024, 3) research must be relevant, 4) research data must report complete data to calculate the effect size value. Research data was obtained from 25 studies that have met the inclusion criteria—data analysis with the help of the JASP 0.8.5 application. The study's results concluded that the average effect size value was ( d = 0.994; z = 11.198; p< 0.001) in the high effect size category. These findings show that financial literacy education significantly influences children's decision-making.

Abstract

There are many studies on project-based learning and case-based learning models in the world of Education, but many studies have concluded that the results of the research are different and the influence of the model is not profound on Children's numeracy skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based and case-based learning models to improve Children's numeracy literacy skills in schools. The type of research is quantitative research with a meta-analysis approach. The eligibility criteria of this study are that the research must be relevant, the research data is obtained from the ScienceDirect database; Mendeley; ERIC and Google Scholar; The research was published in 2020-2025; and The research must report complete data to calculate the effect size value. Data analysis with the help of Excel and Jamovi applications to calculate the effect size value of each study. The results of the study concluded that the 19 studies analyzed obtained a summary effect size value (d = 0.924; z = 7.446 p < 0.001). These findings show that the project-based learning and case-based learning models have a significant influence on Children' numeracy literacy skills in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of HOTS-based inquiry training model on critical thinking skills in PAI learning meta-analysis. Research data were obtained from 26 studies that met the inclusion criteria. Research data was obtained through the databases of ERIC, ScienceDirect, Wiley, Taylor of Francis, Mendeley and IEEE. Data analysis calculates the effect size value with the help of the JASP application. The results of the study concluded that the mean effect size value after analysis was found to be d =1.150 ; p < 0.001; z = 9.273.. These findings explain that the HOTS-based inquiry training model has a positive effect on children  critical thinking skills in PAI learning. This research provides important information in the application of this model to encourage children's critical thinking skills in learning Islam.

Abstract

Experiencing trauma after a distressing event can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To protect themselves from fear and anxiety, individuals often employ defense mechanisms. The purpose of this study is to identify PTSD and defense mechanisms in the main character, Allison, in the movie A Good Person, directed by Zach Braff. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method and is based on Rasna Kaur Neelam’s theory, which is rooted in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). Additionally, Sigmund Freud’s theory of defense mechanisms is referenced in this research. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The PTSD type exhibited by the main character is comorbid. There are three symptoms: flashbacks, depression, and oxycodone addiction. (2) The predominant defense mechanism in the movie is denial. (3) Through a perspective analysis, it is evident that Allison's behavior is influenced by her id and ego, with an absence of the superego. This lack of the superego significantly impacts her moral judgment and self-criticism, indicating the influence of her PTSD on her psyche.

Abstract

Abstract. This Hallidayan-based study aimed to investigate the representation of consumptive and productive behaviours in English textbooks for senior high school students. To obtain the purpose of this study, two grade-12 English textbooks used nationally in Indonesia were purposively selected. Then reading texts about finance issues were analysed by employing the Hallidayan SFL framework of material clause. Based on the analysis, it was found that the dominant material clauses (40%) in the books construe productive behaviours while the second frequent ones (32%) represent consumptive behaviours. However, there is the tendency to represent money as a goal. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to developing finance literacy in English textbook materials for Indonesian senior-high-school students. While the portrayal of productive behaviours in textbooks is salient for the development of their finance literacy, there is also a need to avoid building money-oriented paradigmKeywords: Productive, consumptive, behaviours, textbook, SFL

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital technology-based integrated STEM learning models on improving students' digital literacy through a meta-analysis approach. Digital literacy is an essential competency in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, and STEM learning that integrates digital technology is believed to be able to facilitate the strengthening of these skills. This study examined 20 scientific articles published in the period 2015–2024 and met the inclusion and methodological quality criteria. The analysis was carried out using JASP. The results of the meta-analysis showed that the digital-based STEM learning model had a significant influence on improving students' digital literacy, with an average effect size value of 0.78 which was included in the large category. Subanalysis based on education level indicates that the strongest influence occurs at the secondary education level. These findings imply that the development of STEM-based learning curricula and strategies that are integrated with digital technology needs to be continuously encouraged to strengthen students' readiness to face the challenges of the digital world.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEM-based Think Pair Share model on the thinking ability of early childhood education students.  The research is a meta-analysis research. This study analyzed 17 primary studies that had met the established inclusion criteria. The data analysis in this study is statistical analysis. This study concluded that the analysis using the random effect model obtained the average effect size value (d= 0.972; p <0.001). This effect size is very high. These results show that the STEM-based Think Pair Share model strongly influences the critical thinking ability of prospective Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers compared to the traditional learning model.
