Abstract

Pengembangan kemandirian pada anak sekolah dasar merupakan bagian penting dari proses pendidikan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada capaian akademik, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana kegiatan belajar di kelas dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam membangun kemandirian siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan telaah pustaka dari berbagai sumber relevan yang membahas strategi pembelajaran, peran guru, dan perilaku belajar mandiri pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian siswa dapat ditumbuhkan melalui pemberian tugas yang terarah, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, kegiatan diskusi, serta pelibatan siswa dalam pengambilan keputusan sederhana di kelas. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator sangat menentukan keberhasilan proses ini, terutama melalui dukungan emosional, pemberian motivasi, dan penciptaan suasana belajar yang terbuka serta partisipatif. Tantangan yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan metode pembelajaran, kurangnya variasi aktivitas kelas, serta dominasi pendekatan instruksional yang membuat siswa cenderung pasif. Oleh karena itu, strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kolaboratif perlu diterapkan secara berkelanjutan untuk memperkuat kemandirian akademik, sosial, dan emosional siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui media video animasi berbasis etnomatematika pada bangun ruang kelas V untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu (1) Analysis (analisis), (2) Design (desain), (3) Development(Pengembangan), (4) Implementation (implementasi), (5) Evalution (evaluasi). Untuk tahap uji coba terbatas dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN 2 Boro dan tahap uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN So Loka. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk pengembangan media video animasi berbasis etnomatematika ini mendapat nilai rata-rata hasil validasi materi 90% (sangat valid), ahli media 91% (sangat valid). Untuk angket kepratisan mendapat nilai rata-rata hasil respon siswa uji terbatas mendapat nilai rata-rata 93,25% (sangat paktis) dan angket respon siswa uji lapangan mendapat nilai rata-rata 92,40% (sangat praktis). Pada tahap uji coba lapangan hasil belajar mendapat nilai rata-rata 0,71% (sangat efektif). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media video animasi berbasis etnomatematika pada materi bangun ruang kelas V untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Sekolah Dasar pada materi bangun ruang.

Abstract

Rimpu culture, as a reflection of the identity of the Bima community, contains religious values such as politeness, respect for women, and piety, making it relevant for character building in primary education. This study aims to identify the religious values embedded in the Rimpu tradition and analyse how these values are internalised in primary schools. Unlike previous studies that generally discuss character education based on local wisdom, this study specifically focuses on the formulation of the internalisation of religious values in the Rimpu tradition at the primary education level. This study uses qualitative ethnographic methods and was conducted in one of the primary schools in Bima Regency. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, religious leaders, teachers, community members, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model. The study shows that Rimpu religious values are reflected in community social practices and have begun to be applied in school activities. This study confirms that the Rimpu tradition can be positioned as a structured socio-religious value system with pedagogical significance in primary education.

Abstract

Character education plays a crucial role in developing ethically grounded and socially responsible learners amid contemporary global challenges. However, existing studies remain fragmented, with limited synthesis of global research patterns, methodological orientations, and theoretical developments at the elementary school level. Addressing this gap, this study aims to strengthen the global positioning of character education research through an integrated Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis. Guided by PRISMA guidelines, the study reviewed 110 Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2011 and 2025. Bibliometric analysis was employed to map publication trends, geographic distribution, influential authors, and keyword-based thematic clusters, while thematic synthesis was used to examine research designs, conceptual frameworks, and recurring gaps. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using a structured screening protocol, and thematic coding was conducted using NVivo with manual cross-validation to ensure analytical rigor. The findings indicate a steady growth in publications, with Asian countries emerging as major contributors. Research themes increasingly emphasize moral education, social–emotional learning, and global citizenship, supported predominantly by qualitative and mixed-method approaches. Nevertheless, the literature remains constrained by context-specific studies, limited longitudinal evidence, and challenges in cross-cultural measurement of character outcomes. The study contributes theoretically by clarifying the evolving conceptual landscape of elementary character education and methodologically by demonstrating the value of integrating bibliometric mapping with thematic synthesis. Practically, the findings offer guidance for developing scalable, context-responsive, and empirically grounded character education models applicable across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

AbstractThe digital age presents significant challenges and roles in molding the character of elementary school students through social media. Today's youth are exposed to diverse information and interactions via online platforms, presenting new challenges in instilling positive values, attitudes, and behaviors. This study aims to explore how social media influences the character formation of elementary school students in the digital age. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research involves 27 sixth-grade elementary students, along with teachers and parents as informants. Research tools include observation sheets illustrating social media's influence on character formation and interviews with teachers and parents. The research findings indicate that social media plays a significant role in shaping students' character. Most students demonstrate positive attitudes toward character values potentially influenced by social media, including time discipline, creativity, independence, responsibility, environmental awareness, a strong social spirit, and a high curiosity for new experiences. Keywords: digital age, social media, student’s character. AbstrakEra digital menimbulkan tantangan dan peran yang besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar melalui media sosial. Anak-anak saat ini terpapar berbagai informasi dan interaksi melalui platform online, yang menciptakan tantangan baru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai, sikap, dan perilaku positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana media sosial memengaruhi pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar di era digital. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan fenomenologis, penelitian melibatkan 27 siswa sekolah dasar kelas enam, serta guru dan orang tua sebagai informan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi yang menggambarkan pengaruh media sosial pada pembentukan karakter dan wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa, dengan sebagian besar menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap nilai-nilai karakter yang mungkin terpengaruh oleh penggunaan media sosial meliputi: religiusitas, toleransi, moral yang baik, disiplin waktu, kreativitas, kemandirian, tanggung jawab, kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, semangat sosial yang kuat, dan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi terhadap hal-hal baru.Kata kunci: era digital, media sosial, karakter siswa.
