Abstract

Pasang ri Kajang is a philosophy of life embraced by the Ammatoa Kajang indigenous community in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. This concept not only governs social and cultural aspects but also serves as a guideline for maintaining balance between humans and nature. This study employs a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach to explore the meaning and practice of Pasang ri Kajang in the daily lives of the Kajang people. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, and analysis of relevant documents and literature. The findings reveal that Pasang ri Kajang plays a crucial role in shaping collective identity, customary legal systems, and environmental sustainability. Values such as simplicity, honesty, and harmony with nature form the core of this philosophy. This study provides insight into how traditional value systems persist amid modernization and their relevance in development planning based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This service activity is motivated by students' low understanding of the packaging of historical content into educational products with economic value, and the non-optimal integration of entrepreneurial values in history learning. The purpose of this activity is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students through edupreneurship developed in the form of local history-based exhibitions. The method used is a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach that involves students as active subjects in training, production, and marketing of historical products, as well as organizing exhibition activities. The activity began with training on basic edupreneur concepts, product packaging, and marketing strategies. The activity featured a variety of creative products such as traditional snacks, replicas of pinisi ships, and souvenirs with local history motifs. This activity succeeded in increasing students' capacity to think critically, innovate, and work together productively. The entrepreneurship talk show held at the same time also strengthened students' motivation and entrepreneurial insights. The results of the activity show that the history exhibition is effective as a medium for transforming contextual, applicable, and economically valuable history learning through an edupreneurship approach.

Abstract

Pappaseng, a form of traditional Bugis oral literature, serves as a cultural medium for transmitting moral values through proverbs, advice, songs, and dialogic expressions. These forms function as pedagogical tools for both individual and communal character development. This study aims to explore the potential of Pappaseng as a culturally rooted framework for national character education in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative descriptive method through library research, the analysis draws upon primary Pappaseng texts and secondary sources from anthropology, education, and local wisdom studies. The research addresses the limited integration of indigenous oral traditions within current character education models. The findings reveal that Pappaseng embodies essential values, such as honesty (lempu’), wisdom (amaccang), and courage (getteng), that can be meaningfully integrated into educational practices to promote ethical awareness and national identity. These values are transmitted not only through interpersonal advice but also via traditional artistic expressions, including kaddo bora (songs) and dialogic storytelling. This study offers a novel contribution by positioning Pappaseng as an underutilized indigenous epistemology within the discourse on character education. As such, it provides a culturally relevant resource for strengthening national character through formal education and community engagement initiatives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang masuknya Belanda di Pallime, dinamika Pallime pada masa Kolonial Belanda serta dampak kolonialisme Belanda di Pallime. Untuk merumuskan tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari tahap: heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Latar belakang masuknya Belanda di Pallime tidak bisa dipisahkan dari peristiwa rumpa’na Bone dan proses penaklukan Pelabuhan Pallime. Pallime dengan sumber daya alam terutama beras juga menjadi daya tarik pendukung bagi Belanda untuk menguasai daerah ini. (2) Kolonialisme Belanda di Pallime mengalami berbagai dinamika dalam perjalanannya, baik di awal pemerintahan hingga akhir kekuasaan. Setelah penguasaan Pallime tahun 1905, Belanda tidak langsung merealisasikan kebijakan pemerintahannya melainkan direalisasikan secara penuh dan menyeluruh pada 1908, dengan target utama kebijakan sosial ekonomi yakni pelabuhan dan pasar, juga adanya sekolah dan kebijakan politik Belanda yang menjadikan Pallime sebagai daerah yang mengalami perkembangan cukup pesat, hingga 1942 menjadi akhir Kolonial Belanda bersamaan dengan kemunduran Pelabuhan dan masuknya Jepang di Pallime (3) Kolonialisme Belanda di Pallime memberikan dampak dalam kehidupan masyarakat khususnya dalam bidang sosial ekonomi dengan adanya pengembangan aktivitas pelayaran dan perdagangan, menghidupkan pertanian rakyat, akulturasi budaya yang diadopsi dari Belanda, serta dampak politik pendidikan dengan diterapkannya sistem politik etis dan adanya sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrak: PKM ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan guru di SMAN 13 Makassar dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dengan menggunakan media Baamboozle pada proses evaluasi belajar terhadap pesertadidik. Permasalahanyang dihadapi adalah : (1) Keterampilan digital guru di SMAN 13 tergolong masih rendah sehingga pelaksanaan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran lebih banyak dilakukan dengan pemberian tugas secara konvensionaldenganmenggunakankertas dan manual atauviawhatsapp.(2) GuruSMAN 13 belum menguasai penggunaan media Baamboozle dalam prosesevalusipembelajaran.Olehkarenaitu,dilakukanpengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa Pelatihan penggunaan media Baamboozle untuk evaluasi hasil belajar. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan tanya jawab terhadap hasilworkshop.HasilnyamenunjukkanguruSMAN 13 Makassarmenguasai penggunaan Baamboozle dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran  Abstract:ThisPKMaimstoaddinsighttoteachersofSMAN 13 Makassarinutilizingtechnology-basedlearning media byusingthe Quizizz application to the learning evaluation process for students. The problems faced are : (1) The digital skills of teachers at SMAN 13 Makassarl are still low, so that the evaluation of learning outcomes is mostlydonebygivingassignmentsconventionallyusingpaperorvia WhatsApp.(2)SMAN 13teachershavenotmasteredusingBaamboozle in the learning evaluation process. Therefore, community service is carriedoutintheformofworkshopsusingtheBaamboozleapplicationto evaluate learning outcomes. This community service is carried out using lecture methods, demonstrations and evaluation of the results of the workshop.Theresultsshowthat SMAN 13teachersmaster the use of Baamboozle in the learning evaluation process.
