Abstract

Early childhood education is a form of education that focuses on establishing the basis for significant physical growth and development, such as body growth and motor development. Children begin to develop the ability to think, learn, remember and understand basic concepts. This research aims to produce an animated application for the introduction of human needs in children for their congnitive development. In the design process using Flowchart diagram to create an overview of how the process in the interactive learning media application. Storyboard is used for an overview of the appearance and workings of interactive learning media applications. There are several choices of materials such as food, drink, clothing, health, hygiene and safety. All materials are equipped with sound images and attractive displays. Flowchart is used to display the workflow, from the start to the stage of selecting interactive learning media application materials. The application contains material that already covers the curriculum used by PAUD schools in general. Interactive learning media applications help early childhood in learning about human needs.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid Traffic Maze learning media to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years. This research is a development research with the development model used by Sugiyono. In this study, researchers only used 7 (seven) stages, namely knowing problems and potential, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials and product manufacturing. The next stage was not carried out due to cost and time constraints. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire, where the questionnaire is validated by material experts, media experts and educators. The type of data generated is quantitative and qualitative data. The average percentage result of the pretest conducted on 3 children is 12.3%, proving that the child's condition is still in the stage of starting to develop. Then the posttest is carried out, namely the condition after the child is given the Traffic Maze media, the average percentage result of this posttest is 31% which proves that the child has changed the condition to develop as expected. So it can be concluded that Traffic Maze media to improve the problem solving ability of children aged 4-5 years has met the criteria for validity.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an, especially the ability to read the Qur'an, should be taught to children from an early age. In teaching reading the Qur'an teachers can use various methods. One of the methods of reading the Qur'an is the iqro' method. The purpose of the iqro' method is to prepare students to become a qur'ani generation, namely a generation that loves the Qur'an, is committed to the Qur'an and makes it a daily reading and outlook on life. Talaqqi method is a method used by the teacher in listening to the recitation of the Qur'an to his students directly, anywhere with the condition of meeting face to face without the intermediary of other tools. This study aims to describe the teacher's efforts to improve the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters in children at Pengajian Al-Muttaqien Purwakarta, totaling 25 children. Based on the results of research from cycle and cycle II, it can be concluded that the talaqqi method can improve the ability to pronounce hijaiyah letters in children at Pengajian Al-Muttaqien Purwakarta, it can be seen from the results of data analysis, in the first cycle of the first meeting, the percentage of talaqqi can be seen from the results of data analysis.

Abstract

The use of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has created a huge leap in the management of computer networks. SDN offers flexibility and the ability to dynamically manage networks, but along with its advantages, it also brings significant challenges in managing quality of service (QoS). QoS is critical to maintaining performance and user experience in increasingly complex and distributed network environments. The research method uses Solution Development to address a quality of service (QoS) management challenge and solution in Software Defined Networking with the approach of designing and developing practical solutions to address QoS management issues and challenges in SDN environments. Control Separation and Data Plane are centralized network control at the SDN controller, while the data plane reside in the networks hardware, both capable of maintaining QoS and a challenges in SDN with a computer network approach that separates the control layer from the data layer, enabling more flexible and centralized network management. Research conclusions related to SDN Software Defined Networking quality of service management problems and solutions, focusing on the problem of separating management and data levels. The separations of control and data plane concept in SDN has great potential to improve flexibility, scalability and more efficient network management.

Abstract

Mobile health applications are increasingly being used as a tool to manage mental health conditions, particularly depression. These apps provide accessible and scalable interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) exercises and mood tracking, allowing users to engage in self-guided treatment. However, the effectiveness of such apps in reducing depression symptoms, particularly over extended periods, remains under-researched. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a mental health mobile app in reducing depression symptoms over a 12-week period. The primary goal was to determine if consistent use of the app leads to significant improvements in mental health compared to traditional in-person therapy. A randomized controlled trial (RCT) was conducted with 200 participants diagnosed with mild to moderate depression. Participants were randomly assigned to two groups: the intervention group used the mobile app, and the control group received standard in-person therapy. Depression symptoms were assessed at baseline, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). Engagement with the app, such as logins and completed CBT exercises, was also tracked for the intervention group. The intervention group showed a 35% reduction in PHQ-9 scores by the 12-week mark, while the control group exhibited a 20% reduction. Higher app engagement correlated with greater symptom reduction. The mobile app proved particularly effective in reducing depression symptoms among those who consistently used its features. The mental health mobile app was effective in significantly reducing depression symptoms, especially with regular use. These findings support the use of mobile apps as a complementary or alternative treatment to traditional therapy for managing depression.

The advent of creative technologies such as game design and virtual reality (VR) has opened new avenues for social innovation. These technologies offer immersive and interactive experiences that can address various societal challenges, from education to mental health. Despite their potential, there is limited comprehensive research on how these technologies are being utilized in social innovation. This research aims to explore how creative technologies in game design and virtual reality are transforming society through social innovation. The study seeks to identify successful case studies and analyze the impact of these technologies on different social sectors. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, examining six social innovation projects that leverage game design and VR. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with project leaders, direct observation, and analysis of project outcomes. This approach provides a detailed understanding of the implementation processes, challenges, and successes of each project. The findings indicate that game design and VR have significant potential to create positive social change. Projects in education showed enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes, while mental health initiatives reported improved therapeutic experiences and patient well-being. Other projects addressed issues such as social inclusion and environmental awareness, demonstrating the versatility and effectiveness of these technologies. The study concludes that creative technologies in game design and VR can play a transformative role in social innovation. By providing engaging and immersive experiences, these technologies can effectively address a wide range of societal challenges. Continued research and investment in these areas are recommended to fully harness their potential for social good.
