Abstract

Filsafat merupakan pedoman yang dijadikan sebagai pandangan hidup masyarakat yang membahas mengenai objek-objek kemanusiaan secara keseluruhan dan mendalam. Filsafat bersifat sistematis yang berarti kajian-kajiannya selalu menunjukkan hubungan yang saling berkaitan antara yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Filsafat bersifat universal yang berarti setiap kajiannya mengenai semua orang. Filsafat pendidikan merupakan upaya untuk memahami pendidikan secara menyeluruh dan mendalam yang dapat digunakan sebagai petunjuk bagi masyarakat dan kebijakan pendidikan. Filsafat dan pendidikan memiliki kaitan yang erat antara satu dengan yang lain baik pendidikan dalam arti teoritis maupun praktis. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, pendidikan mengalami perubahan yang signifikan mulai dari perkembangan model, teknik, strategi, media maupun pendekatan pembelajaran. Pada Abad 21 merupakan pembelajaran yang mengaplikasikan kemampuan literasi, kecakapan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap serta penguasaan terhadap teknologi. Kecakapan tersebut dapat dikembangkan dengan berbagai kegiatan yang sesuai dengan kompetensi siswa dan materi pembelajaran. Kecakapan yang dibutuhkan pada Abad 21 merupakan kecakapan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) guna mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

The ability to plan learning is a pedagogical ability that teachers must have. Learning Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) should have been implemented by teachers in the RPP in order to support learnig activities that emphasize the development of critical thinking, creative and problem solving skills. This study aims to describe the ability of teachers in planning HOTS learning in the form of developing critical and creative thinking skills in solving problems in Sridadi 55/1 Primary School. This resarch was carried out at Sridadi 55/1 Public Elementary School, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi in even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection was obtained from RPP observations and supported by interviews with related parties to meet the data requirements regarding HOTS learning planning and documentation. Data analysis in this study used triangulation. The research method used is qualitative research with type of phenomenology that aimed to describe the phenomena experienced by the research subject in detail and in depth. The observations result showed that the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) prepared by the teacher met the lerning planning indicators based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The result of the interview also strengthened the findings of the observation.Based on in-depth interviews conducted showed that the teacher had compiled the lesson plan and met the criteria of the HOTS-based lesson plan. The results showed that the class IIIA and VA teachers at Sridadi 55/1 Elementary School had designed a HOTSbased lesson plan with a fairly good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur, kevaliditasan, serta kepraktisan produk pengembangan e-handout berbasis sidebooks. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan peneliti ialah Research and Development (R&D). Untuk model yang digunakan dalam penelitian model pengembangan ADDIE. Siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 80/I Muara Bulian merupakan subjek uji coba dalam pengembangan ini. Data kualitatif dan kuantitatif merupakan dua jenis data untuk digunakan pada penelitian dan pengembangan. Dalam penelitian pengembangan ini, sumber data kuantitatif diperoleh dari dosen sebagai ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan guru, serta dari angket respons siswa dan guru di kelas IVB SD Negeri 80/I Muara Bulian. Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Pada analisis data mencakup dua pendekatan, yaitu analisis deskriptif untuk data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk ini telah memenuhi kriteria kategori “sangat valid” dengan tingkat kevalidan oleh ahli bahasa dengan hasil rata-rata 4,6, tingkat kevalidan media dengan hasil rata-rata 4,72, dan tingkat kevalidan materi dengan hasil rata-rata 4,57. Selanjutnya, pada angket penilaian guru mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 4,8 dapat dikategorikan “sangat valid/sangat praktis”. Sedangkan angket respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mendapat nilai rata-rata 4,91 dan uji coba kelompok besar mendapat nilai rata-rata 4,96, hal tersebut dapat dikategorikan “sangat valid”.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Heyzine-based learning media for the topic “Rights and Obligations at Home and at School” for fourth-grade elementary students. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages; however, the study was limited to the Develop stage with restricted dissemination. The Define stage included front-end analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and the formulation of learning objectives. The Design stage involved creating a storyboard and selecting visual elements to be integrated into the Heyzine platform. The Develop stage consisted of validation by media experts, material experts, and language experts, followed by small-group trials involving fourth-grade students. The results indicate that the Heyzine-based learning media met all feasibility criteria with a “Highly Feasible” category based on expert validation. Small-group trials also showed that the media was highly practical, easy to use, engaging, and effective in helping students understand the concepts of rights and obligations. Therefore, Heyzine-based learning media can serve as an innovative tool to enhance motivation and improve the quality of Civic Education learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is based on the limited use of learning media which causes students' learning outcomes to be classified as low. This research was conducted with the aim of developing a design, measuring feasibility, and assessing the effectiveness of the letter puzzle board media to improve the learning outcomes of grade I students at SD Negeri 56/I Desa Aro. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development stages. Techniques in data collection through interviews, observations, documentation, written tests and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques are in the form of normality tests, T tests, and N-gain tests. The research findings show that the letter puzzle board learning media received the "very feasible" category based on expert validation results with a score of 93% (media experts) and 91% (material experts). The T test results obtained indicate a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The questionnaire responses of teachers (98%) and students (95%) obtained the "very feasible" category. The results of the N-Gain test obtained the "moderate" category (0.89) on a small scale and "high" (0.85) on a large scale. These results show that the letter puzzle board media is effective and very suitable for use to improve the learning outcomes of class I students at SD Negeri 56/I Desa Aro.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based teaching aids for learning the human respiratory system in fifth grade elementary schools in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. These teaching aids are designed to improve students' understanding of abstract concepts through interactive and visual learning experiences. This study also aims to assess the practicality of the teaching aids, content validity, and their impact on student engagement and motivation. Using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model, these teaching aids were tested on students to evaluate their effectiveness in improving students' understanding of the material being taught.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of building Mutual Cooperation (Gotong Royong) and Responsibility characters at the elementary school level to balance academic achievement and students' affective development. At SDN 80/1 Muara Bulian, a phenomenon was observed where students remained passive in groups and showed a lack of responsibility toward collective tasks. This study aims to explain and analyze the influence of cooperation habituation in enhancing mutual cooperation and responsibility characters among fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consisted of all fifth-grade students at SDN 80/1 Muara Bulian, with class V A as the experimental group receiving the cooperation habituation treatment and class V B as the control group. Data collection techniques were conducted through structured observations using character assessment rubrics validated by experts. Data analysis involved prerequisite tests (normality and heteroscedasticity) and hypothesis testing through simple linear regression assisted by the SPSS program. The results showed a positive and significant influence of cooperation habituation on students' character. Statistically, the cooperation habituation variable contributed 14.7% to the improvement of mutual cooperation character and 11.7% to responsibility character. This is evidenced by a positive regression coefficient value, indicating that every increase in the intensity of cooperation habituation significantly improves student character scores. The conclusion of this research is that the habituation method is an effective pedagogical strategy for internalizing social values within the elementary school ecosystem.

Abstract

The learning of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in elementary schools is expected to foster meaningful understanding, critical thinking, and the ability to connect concepts with real-life contexts. However, learning practices are often still oriented toward surface learning, causing students to have difficulty developing deep conceptual understanding. This study aims to describe the implementation of the deep learning approach in IPAS learning at SD 13/1 Muara Bulian, as well as to identify students’ responses and supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation analysis. The results show that the implementation of the deep learning approach in IPAS learning was carried out through contextual learning activities, active student engagement, collaborative discussions, and reflective learning processes. The approach encouraged students to better understand concepts, relate learning materials to daily life, and demonstrate higher learning engagement. Supporting factors included teacher readiness and learning environment, while inhibiting factors involved limited time and varying student learning abilities. Overall, the deep learning approach contributed positively to improving the quality of IPAS learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of limited access to technology and the level of students' interest in learning Civics Education (PPKn) in Elementary School. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method. The research subjects were 49 fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Guttman scale questionnaire validated through expert judgment. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating the mean and achievement percentage. The results showed that the level of limited technology access was in the "High" category with an achievement percentage of 76.33%. Meanwhile, the level of students' learning interest in PPKn was in the "Low" category with an achievement percentage of 76.94%. The conclusion indicates that significant limitations in technology access are in line with low student interest in PPKn learning. This study recommends the need to develop creative learning strategies that do not fully depend on technology and to improve digital infrastructure in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Round Robin method in Pancasila learning on norms in shaping the attitude of responsibility of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study is motivated by the low attitude of responsibility of students shown through a lack of active participation, less than optimal learning readiness, and low awareness in carrying out the role as students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects consisted of the fifth-grade homeroom teacher and three fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 95/I Olak. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Round Robin method is able to increase students' active involvement, discipline in discussions, and the development of attitudes of responsibility both academically and socially. This method is effective for use in Pancasila learning on norms to shape students' attitudes of responsibility.
