Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effect of price, product quality, word of mouth (WOM) or consumer testimonials on purchasing decisions. The population in this study was the general public of Brebes Regency using Slovin formula obtained a total sample of 75 respondents. In this study, the technique used in data collection is the Probability sampling technique with sampling using simple random sampling techniques. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis methods used are descriptive statistics, validity tests, reality tests, classical assumption tests consisting of normality tests, multicolonicity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and hypothesis tests consisting of T tests, F tests, voefficient of determination tests (R2), and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of partial research, it can be concluded that: 1). Price has a positive and significant effect with the value of t calculated > t table, which is 2.067 > 0.227 and the value of sig. < 0.05 which is 0.042 < 0.05. 2). Product Quality has a positive and significant effect with the t-value of the table t-count > of the table, which is 4.354 > 0.227 and the sig value. < 0.05 which is 0.00 < 0.05. 3). Word of Mouth (WOM) has a positive and significant effect with the t-value of the table t-count > which is 2.238 > 0.227 and the value of sig. 0.028 < 0.05. The results of the study simultaneously with the F test stated that the variables price, product causality, and word of mouth (WOM) had a positive and significant effect with the value of f calculated > f table which is 7.158 > 2.50 and the value of sig. < 0.05 which is 0.00.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of motivation variables, work discipline and work ability on improving service quality at the Brebes Regency Fisheries Service. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The research sample consisted of 43 employees of the Brebes Regency Fisheries Service who were selected using saturated sampling. The results of the analysis show that the motivation variable has a positive and significant influence on service quality (t = 2.719 > t table = 2.023, sig = 0.010 < 0.05). The work discipline variable also has a positive and significant effect on service quality (t count = 4,180 > t table = 2,023, sig = 0.000 < 0.05). Meanwhile, the work ability variable shows a positive and significant influence on service quality (t count = 2.648 > t table = 2.023, sig = 0.012 < 0.05). Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant effect on service quality, with a calculated F value of 24,378 which is greater than F table 2.84 (sig = 0.000 < 0.05). This research suggests that the Brebes Regency Fisheries Service improve motivation, discipline and work skills training programs to improve service quality. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for other government agencies in efforts to improve the quality of public services.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of workload, job insecurity and work environment on turnover intention mediated by work stress in the Cutting section of Building B PT. Daehan Global Brebes. This research is quantitative research using a descriptive approach. The population in this study was all employees in the Cutting Section of Building B PT Daehan Global, Brebes Regency, totaling 83 people. The sampling technique in this research used a non-probability sampling technique with saturated sampling. So 83 respondents were obtained. The data used is primary data in the form of a questionnaire instrument. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of the research show that partial workload has a significant effect on turnover intention, partial job insecurity has a significant effect on turnover intention, partial work environment has a significant effect on turnover intention, partial workload has a significant effect on work stress, partial job insecurity has no effect significant influence on work stress, the work environment partially has a significant influence on work stress, work stress partially has a significant influence on turnover intention, workload, job insecurity and the work environment simultaneously there is a significant influence on turnover intention, workload, job insecurity and the environment Simultaneous work has a significant influence on work stress. Workload has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, mediated by work stress. Job insecurity has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, mediated by job stress. The work environment has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, mediated by employee work stress in the Cutting section of Building B PT. Daehan Global Brebes Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and work environment on employee turnover intention at PT Bintang Indokarya Gemilang located in Tanjung District, Brebes Regency. This research applies quantitative methods. There are as many as 2.562 employees as the population in this study. A total of 100 respondents were used as a sample which was obtained by calculating using the slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents online using Google Form. Data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS version 26.0 using several tests including validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. This study found that work stress partially has a significant influence on turnover intention. Likewise, the work environment partially has a significant influence on turnover intention. In addition, work stress and work environment simultaneously have a significant influence on turnover intention.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational communication, organizational commitment, and work environment on community satisfaction through service quality as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dinas Dukcapil) of Brebes Regency using quantitative research methods. The research subjects were all employees of the Brebes Dukcapil Service, while the research object was the influence of the independent variables (organizational communication, organizational commitment and work environment) on the dependent variable (community satisfaction) through the intervening variable (service quality). The research population is all the people of Brebes Regency who have come to the Brebes Dukcapil Service, especially in the period October-December 2023, totaling 1,100 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 92 people. Research data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques. The research results show that: Organizational communication has a positive and significant effect on service quality. Organizational commitment does not have a significant effect on service quality. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on service quality. Organizational communication does not have a significant effect on community satisfaction. Organizational commitment does not have a significant effect on community satisfaction. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on people's satisfaction. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction. Service quality mediates the influence of organizational communication on community satisfaction. Service quality does not mediate the relationship between organizational commitment and community satisfaction. Service quality mediates the influence of the work environment on people's satisfaction.

Abstract

Warung Makan Mbah Sum is a business operating in the culinary sector which was founded in 1990 and produces food and drinks. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze the business development strategy carried out by Warung Makan Mbah Sum to increase its income. Warung Makan Mbah Sum is located on Jl Husnitamrin RT 08/RW 04, Saditan Brebes. This research aims to analyze and implement the marketing mix at Warung Makan Mbah Sum. Marketing mix variables consist of product, price, promotion and distribution. The method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. Data sources were obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The object in preparing this research is business development strategies to increase income at the Mbah Sum Saditan Brebes Food Stall. The results of research in the field state that the business development strategy carried out by Warung Makan Mbah Sum is increasing product variants, maintaining low prices, improving service quality, and using new sales concepts. The obstacles faced by Warung Makan Mbah Sum in developing its business are lack of operational management, lack of facilities for eating on site, and pressure from outside (competitors). If seen from a strategy perspective, Warung Makan Mbah Sum has been able to develop its business to increase income.

Abstract

Desa Parereja merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kecamatan Banjarharjo yang terdapat beberapa kelompok usaha rumahan dan UMKM diantaranya produksi arumanis, kerupuk basreng, rengginang dan kerupuk centir. Dalam perkembangan usaha ada beberapa kelompok usaha yang masih terkendala dalam inovasi produk, pemasaran, pengemasan dan disstribusi produksi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman ilmu tentang pentingnya melakukan motivasi dalam berwirausaha dan pentingnya melakukan inovasi pada usaha dengan kolaborasi ilmu dan teknologi yang dapat meningkatkan perekonomian lokal masyarakat. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi melalui penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Peserta dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah kelompok UMKM, kelompok Pemberdaya Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) serta masyarakat umum yang berjumlah 33 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu peserta kegiatan memperoleh berbagai manfaat seperti: menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya membangun motivasi dan jiwa kewirausahaan yang meliputi inovasi pada produk, pengemasan yang menarik pembeli serta pentingnya pembukuan selama kegiatan produksi berlangsung. Diharapkan dapat dijadikan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat dalam mengembangkan usahanya serta siap dalam menghadapi persaingan pada tiap produk yang sama dengan keunggulan yang berbeda.

Abstract

Low employee performance often hinders organizational goals. This issue is suspected to be influenced by factors such as workload, work discipline, work culture, and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the effects of workload, work discipline, and work culture on employee performance, as well as the role of job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative descriptive survey method and SEM-PLS analysis on 91 employees of PT Kido Mulia Indonesia, the results show that workload (coefficient = 0.252; t = 2.300; p = 0.022), work discipline (0.238; t = 2.538; p = 0.011), and work culture (0.350; t = 3.663; p = 0.000) have a significant positive effect on employee performance. These variables also significantly influence job satisfaction, with workload (0.415; t = 3.617; p = 0.000), work discipline (0.298; t = 3.852; p = 0.000), and work culture (0.300; t = 4.183; p = 0.000). Job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance (0.646; t = 3.047; p = 0.002) and mediates the effects of work discipline and work culture on performance. These findings highlight the importance of managing workload, discipline, culture, and job satisfaction to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public service, quality of work life, and integrity on the performance of village officials in Bulakamba District, Brebes Regency. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method. The population in this study consisted of all 149 village apparatus employees in Bulakamba District. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error, resulting in 109 respondents selected based on the criteria of being over 17 years old and having at least one year of work experience. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that public service has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials. The quality of work life also has a positive and significant effect, indicating the importance of a supportive work environment. In addition, integrity has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on performance, emphasizing that honesty and responsibility are crucial factors in improving work outcomes. Simultaneously, public service, quality of work life, and integrity jointly contribute 45.00% to the performance of village officials, while the remaining 55.00% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of integrity, work efficiency, and job characteristics on the performance of village apparatus, with organizational commitment serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted among village officials in Wanasari District, Brebes Regency, involving 109 respondents selected using a quantitative approach through questionnaire-based data collection. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS. The results of the path coefficient analysis indicate that integrity has a positive effect on organizational commitment, with a coefficient value of 0.286. Work efficiency also exerts a positive influence on organizational commitment, with a coefficient of 0.215, suggesting that officials who complete tasks efficiently and accurately tend to demonstrate higher levels of commitment. Job characteristics, such as role clarity and task challenge, also contribute positively to organizational commitment, with a coefficient of 0.138. Furthermore, integrity, work efficiency, and job characteristics each have a direct impact on the performance of village officials, with coefficient values of 0.086, 0.167, and 0.088, respectively. Notably, organizational commitment plays a significant mediating role, with a direct effect on performance amounting to 0.206. These findings underscore the importance of organizational loyalty and a strong sense of institutional belonging in enhancing the effectiveness of village apparatus. Strengthening organizational commitment emerges as a critical factor in maximizing the impact of integrity, work efficiency, and job characteristics on performance outcomes.
