Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics and performance of traffic on Abdullah Silondae Street, Kendari City. The study results indicate that the highest traffic volume occurs on Saturdays, reaching 1,192 pcu/h in both directions, while the road capacity is recorded at 5,298 pcu/h. The number of observed side obstacles reached 2,159 incidents, categorized as very high. Road performance is indicated by a free-flow speed of 39.9 km/h and an average passenger vehicle speed of approximately 38 km/h, with a degree of saturation of 0.24. Based on these values, the road's level of service is category B, indicating stable traffic flow, although speed is starting to be affected by traffic conditions. This study recommends restructuring activities around the road, analyzing long-term traffic growth scenarios, and evaluating safety aspects and the use of other transportation modes. Further research is expected to formulate a more comprehensive traffic management strategy to improve road performance and safety.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan terbesar dengan lebih dari 17.000 pulau menjadikan transportasi laut dan penyeberangan sebagai urat nadi mobilitas masyarakat dan penghubung antarwilayah. Dalam konteks ini, arus mudik dan arus balik Idulfitri menjadi fenomena transportasi yang signifikan, tidak hanya mencerminkan perpindahan fisik, tetapi juga nilai sosial, budaya, dan emosional seperti silaturahmi dan kebersamaan. Namun, lonjakan penumpang dalam waktu singkat menimbulkan tantangan pelayanan publik, seperti kepadatan, keterbatasan kapasitas, antrean panjang, serta risiko keselamatan dan keamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam pelayanan publik arus mudik dan arus balik di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Baubau. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nasionalisme tercermin dalam pelayanan yang humanis, profesional, dan berorientasi pada keselamatan. Kolaborasi antarinstansi serta partisipasi masyarakat menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga kelancaran pelayanan. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kedisiplinan sebagian pengguna, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas layanan, kompetensi aparatur, serta edukasi masyarakat. Kata kunci: Arus Mudik dan Arus Balik, Nasionalisme, Pelayanan Publik,  Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Transportasi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of development communication in village infrastructure development by the Lamongupa Village Government, Wawonii Tengah District, Konawe Kepulauan Regency. The main focus of this research is to understand how development communication is used to enhance community participation and support sustainable village development. The research method employed is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis conducted from November 2024 to January 2025. The analysis was carried out based on the concept of development communication, particularly the aspects of the right to communicate, democratization of communication, and the traditional knowledge system. The findings indicate that the Lamongupa Village Government has effectively implemented development communication in infrastructure development. The village government has provided opportunities for the community to participate in the planning and monitoring of development projects, including the improvement of a 580-meter village road, which has positively impacted accessibility and the local economy. Additionally, integrating cultural values and traditions into development communication has enhanced community acceptance of development policies. This study concludes that the application of inclusive development communication, grounded in local wisdom, can improve the effectiveness of infrastructure development and stimulate village economic growth. These findings highlight the importance of participatory communication in fostering sustainable village development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of excellent service through the application of the A6 concept to the service system at the Torobulu Ferry Port in the context of public transportation services based on user experience. The study employs a qualitative-descriptive empirical approach through operational observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and thematic analysis of the dimensions of attitude, ability, attention, appearance, action, and accountability. The results indicate that service quality has shown positive improvements in service attitude, operational technical ability, and service flow management. Major challenges remain in inconsistent service communication during peak periods, limited digitalization of information, a lack of proactive approaches to user needs, and an underdeveloped public satisfaction-based evaluation system. The study also found that service accountability remains administratively oriented and has not been fully integrated with participatory oversight mechanisms. The integration of service technology, the strengthening of an adaptive service culture, and the development of a user-experience-based evaluation system are strategic factors in realizing professional, responsive, transparent, and sustainable ferry services.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital transportation platforms has transformed the operational landscape of culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in urban economies. This study aims to analyze the effect of online transportation services on the income performance of culinary MSMEs in Kendari City within the context of platform-based digital economic transformation. The research employed a quantitative empirical approach using survey data collected from 65 culinary MSME actors integrated with online transportation applications for at least six months. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability testing, simple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings reveal that online transportation exerts a positive and statistically significant influence on MSME income, indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.688 and a significance value below 0.05. The coefficient of determination demonstrates that 54.8% of income variation can be explained by the existence of online transportation services. The study also identifies digital adaptation capability, innovation capacity, consumer loyalty, and resilience to platform competition as critical determinants influencing MSME sustainability in the digital economy ecosystem.
