Abstract

Abstract: Self-confidence is essential for students in the classroom learning process, so school counselors must increase student confidence. One of the methods used by school counselors is the show-and-tell method. So the purpose of this study is to uncover the effects of the show-and-tell method in increasing student confidence in the classroom. This research is a type of qualitative research with descriptive analysis. Then for the collection of informants, a snowball sampling technique is used with key informants of school counselors at The State Junior High School 4 Sungaipenuh City. The data is revealed using a structured interview format, and then the interview data is processed through the data reduction stage, data presentation, and conclusion drawing; so on to maintain the validity of the data is carried out by triangulation of the data. The results of this study revealed that the show-and-tell method carried out by school counselors on students can make students become confident individuals in the classroom.

Abstract

Layanan Penguasaan Konten pendekatan Mujahadah melatihkan peserta layanan untuk bersungguh-sungguh memperbaiki kebiasaan yang tidak baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menguji perbedaan kondisi kecanduan Smartphone sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan layanan penguasaan konten. Metode yang digunakan di dalam peneltian ini yaitu  penelitian kuantitatif pendekatan eksperimen dengan desain one group prettest and posttest design untuk mengungkapkan data  sebelum ekperimen (01) dan sesudah eksperimen (02). Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah anak-anak usia 7-12 tahun yang berdomisili di Desa Pelayang Raya. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah proposive sampling yang berjumlah 10 orang anak. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala kecanduan Smartphone. Data hasil penelitian di analisis menggunakan uji wolcoxon. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perbedaan kondisi kecanduan Smartphone sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan layanan penguasaan konten dengan pendekatan mujahadah memberikan pengaruh yang positif dengan berkurangnya kecanduan Smartphone membuat anak mulai fokus dalam menjalankan pendidikan. Implikasinya dalam pelaksanaan layanan Bimbingan Konseling memperkaya gaya pelaksanaan layanan yang identik dengan studi keislaman.

Abstract

Gadget addiction in children in the current age of information technology is a global problem experienced almost all over the world, so it is necessary to prevent, reduce and cure solutions for children who are already addicted to gadgets. So the Community Service activities in Desa Baru Sungai Betung Mudik, Kerinci Regency, were carried out assistance to parents in reducing the tendency of gadgets to children. The activity method is carried out in talk shows and psychological consultations for people who need psychological handlers, especially the problem of gadget addiction. This PkM activity was carried out on Friday, February 4, 2022, with activity partners, namely the village community of 30 people. The results of PkM activities show an increase in public understanding and insight into the dangers of gadgets for children if not given wisely, including for the family itself. Then the results of psychological consultations showed that there are parents who complain about their children who are difficult to escape from the device, so it is necessary to do a special follow-up. It is recommended to parents to make a schedule for children to play with gadgets and interact with children, so on for the village government to provide sports facilities for adolescents so that adolescent energy can be channelled positively.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of preventing cyberbullying through the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques. This research is a pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The total sample was 47 students from Class VIII of Junior High School 4 Kerinci. The data is revealed using a scale of understanding cyberbullying that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the Paired sample T-test. The results showed that students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour before being given Symbolic Modeling Technique Information services was in low category (34%). Then after being given the Symbolic Modeling Technique Information Service, students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour increased by a very high category (62%). Furthermore, the results of data analysis using the Paired sample T-test showed the sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is a difference in the average score of understanding cyberbullying students before and after treatment in the form of Symbolic Modeling Technical Information Services. Thus, it is proven that the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques can improve students' understanding of the dangers of Cyberbullying behaviour.

Abstract

Drug abuse is a serious social problem in Indonesia. One of the factors that can influence the occurrence of drug abuse is the lack of understanding of students about the dangers of drugs. Therefore, this study explores students' understanding of drug abuse in junior high school. The research method used was quantitative, and the sample consisted of 100 junior high school students in Kerinci, which were taken using convenience sampling. The data were collected using a scale of students' understanding of drugs that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that most students had a relatively good understanding of the dangers of drugs. However, there are still some students who do not understand the dangers of drugs, especially regarding the long-term impacts and legal consequences that can be obtained due to drug abuse. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that more intensive efforts are still needed to improve students' understanding of the dangers of drugs. Schools can develop more active and creative educational programs to improve students' understanding of the dangers of drugs and invite parents and the community to get involved in efforts to prevent drug abuse among adolescents. This conclusion can be used as a reference for developing programs and policies to combat drug abuse in Indonesia, especially among junior high school students.

Abstract

Prolonged grief, economic difficulties, anxiety about supporting children, problems adjusting to new conditions, feelings of alienation from the environment, and loss of intimate support from close people. From this, the purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence between stress and family support on coping strategies. The research method used was quantitative cross sectional survey research. Sampling using total sampling technique. The research subjects were 32 samples with the criteria that single mothers aged 35 to 45 years. The scale used in this study is the Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) to measure the extent to which situations in an individual's life can be assessed as a perception of stress, Family Support Scale (FSS), Coping Scale (QS) to measure coping strategies and the ability of individuals to adjust to various stressors experienced. The research data were analyzed using multiple regression methods by utilizing the Statistical Package for Social Sciece (SPSS) version 20 program. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence between stress and family support on coping strategies. From the results of hypothesis testing, a significant value is obtained between stress and family support on coping strategies as evidenced by the significant value of (0.000 <0.05) and the value of f count 14.055> from the value of f table 3.33 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between stress and family support on coping strategies in single mothers significantly.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students who feel dissatisfied with the shape and size of their body, dissatisfied with their appearance, embarrassed if acne appears, feel they have a height that is not ideal, do not have a proportional body, and are not confident with a dark skin color. So efforts are needed to reduce negative body image to positive in students through group guidance services. The objectives of this study are 1) To reveal the form of the negative body image of students before being given group guidance services, 2) To reveal the negative body image of students after being given group guidance services, and 3) To reveal whether group guidance services are very effective for reducing negative body image before and after services are provided to students. This type of research is an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design with a population of 243 students of SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. The implementation of group guidance services was carried out for 6 meetings. The instrument used is the body image scale using 30 items. The data analysis used is the norm of categorization of respondents' achievements and the Wilcoxon test. Based on data analysis, it is found that there is a significant difference in body image conditions before and after being given group guidance services to X and XI grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh

Abstract

The education system in universities puts much pressure on students so that they can meet academic requirements. This strict learning system can cause students to experience academic burnout, which impacts mental and academic health. This study aims to reveal academic burnout in students who join organizations and how many students experience academic burnout when participating in organizations. The research method used was quantitative, with a descriptive approach and a sample of 50 students participating in the organization. The measuring tool used is the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory – Student Version, which consists of 16 statements covering two dimensions, namely exhaustion and disengagement. The results revealed that an average of 36 students experienced academic burnout, or as much as 72%, and students who joined organizations experienced academic burnout. It recommended that further researchers research on a larger scale to get a complete picture of academic burnout experienced by students who join organizations.

Abstract

Emosi merupakan kondisi psikologis yang bersumber dari dua faktor dalam hidup manusia, yaitu adanya faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal merupakan aspek bawaan dan genetik, yang mana tidak bisa dipisahkan dari bagaimana individu berperilaku dan merespon, akan tetapi bisa di bentuk dan dikendalikan. Serta faktor eksternal merupakan pengaruh lingkungan yang mempengaruhi persepsi subjektif dan komunikasi sosial individu. Kondisi ini merupakan dinamika manusia dalam hidupnya akan tetapi juga bisa menjadi bencana dalam hidup sosial, banyak masalah yang muncul dari manusia yang tidak bisa mengatur emosi mereka dalam berperilaku emosi ini dikenal dengan emosi negatif dalam islam disebut dengan nafsu lawammah dan amarrah. Banyak teknik konseling yang telah dilakukan untuk membantu klien dalam membantu klien mengatur meosi negatifnya tapi teknik tersebut hanya menyentuh permukaan dari kesadaran individu itu saja tetapi tidak menyentuh transendennya diri klien seperti akhlak dan pemikiran yang mendalam akan diri klien. Seperti yang disampaikan oleh Assagioli dengan psikologi transpersonalnya bahwa pikiran dan keinginan diri merupakan diri yang transenden. Begitu juga Al Ghazali mengatakan dalam Tazkiyatun An-Nafs akhlak merupakan pikiran dan hati yang mendalam untuk membantu membentuk emosi positif dan melepaskan yang negatif. Dalam artikel ini akan didiskusikan secara lebih mendalam mengenai emosi, dan aspeknya serta bagaimana tazkiyatun an-nafs bisa disintesiskan sebagai pendekatan konseling untuk membantu melepaskan emosi negatif klien serta artikel ini merupakan pengembangan dari artikel sebelumnya di tahun 2017.Emotion was a psychological condition that came from two factor in human life, internal and external factor. Internal factor was a gift and genetic aspect, that can not be seperated from how an individual to behave and react, but can be shape and control and external factor was an environment influence that affect a subjective perception and social communication of individual. This condition can be a human dynamica in their life but also can be a disaster in social life, there are many problem came from how individual can not control or manage their emotion to behave in their life, this emotion call a negative emotion, in islam call such nafsun lawammah and amarrah. Many technique has been done to help the client in manage of their negative emotion, but that technique only touch on a surface of client’s counscioussness but not a trancendence of their self such an akhlak and deepest mind. Like told by Assagioli in transpersonal psychology that mind and will was a trancendence of self and al ghazali with tazkiyatun an-nafs approach told that akhlak was an deepest mind and heart to shape a positive emotion and release a negative emotion. In this article will discuss for further about emotion and their aspect and also how tazkiyatun an-nafs approach can be a synthesis to help release a negative emotion of client, this article was expanded from article in 2017 before.

Abstract

Kecelakaan dikalangan pendaki gunung sering kali disebabkan oleh Tindakan ekstrem untuk memenuhi sensasi dan pengalaman. Pengalaman psikologis setiap orang berbeda-beda, terutama bagi pendaki gunung Muslimah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dan mengungkapkan pengalaman psikologis pendaki Muslimah di Gunung Kerinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 100 orang pendaki gunung Muslimah di Gunung Kerinci, dengan sample sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner Psychological Experience yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. analisis data menggunakan statistic deskriptif untuk mendreskripsikan mean dan persentase variable penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pengalaman psikologis pendaki gunung Muslimah di Gunung Kerinci pada indicator Sterotip, Kecemasan, Peran orang tua, dan indicator Sebab akibat tergolong tinggi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi pengalaman psikologis seorang Muslimah, maka semakin besar pula trauma untuk Kembali melakukan pendakian gunung, begitu pula sebaliknya. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut dengan populasi dan sampel yang lebih besar untuk mengekplorasi lebih jauh pengalaman psikologis pendaki gunung Muslimah.Abstrack: Accidents among female Muslim mountaineers are often caused by extreme actions to fulfill sensations and experiences. Each person's psychological experience is different, especially for female Muslim mountaineers. This study aims to examine and reveal the psychological experiences of female Muslim mountaineers on Mount Kerinci. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional survey design. The research population is 100 female Muslim mountaineers on Mount Kerinci, with a sample of 30 people. The data collection technique uses a Psychological Experience questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics to describe the mean and percentage of research variables. The results of the study show that the conditions of Psychological Experiences of Female Muslim Mountaineers on Mount Kerinci on the indicators of stereotypes, anxiety, parental roles, and indicators of cause and effect are classified as high. This indicates that the higher the psychological experience of a female Muslim, the greater the trauma to return to climbing mountains, and vice versa. The results of this research recommend the need for further research with a larger population and sample to further explore the psychological experiences of female Muslim mountaineers.
