Abstract

Perusahaan adalah tempat berkumpulnya semua faktor produksi dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh keuntungan. Karyawan merupakan tulang punggung bagi perusahaan untuk melakukan sejumlah kegiatan yang memiliki tujuan untuk dicapai. Tingkat pada keterikatan kerja pada karyawan bersifat sedang sebesar 56,9 persen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keterikatan kerja karyawan salah satu Bank Syariah. Terdapat populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dengan teknik sampling jenuh melibatkan 51 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan UWES (Utrecht Keterikatan kerja Scale). Berdasarkan reliabilitas sebesar 0,953 pada skala keterikatan kerja. Sedangkan hasil analisis deskriptif menjelaskan secara umum berkategori sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas keterikatan kerja karyawan salah satu bank syariah terkategori sedang. Ditemukan pula dimensi dalam keterikatan kerja pada subjek didominasi oleh tinggi dedication dibandingkan dimensi vigor dan absorption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan efektivitas kegiatan psikoedukasi regulasi emosi remaja pada siswa SMP Negeri di Makassar. Partisipan dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa kelas 7 dan 8 dengan rentang usia 14-15 tahun yang berjumlah 27 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive ramdom sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre and posttest design. Treatment yang diberikan kepada partisipan adalah psikoedukasi regulasi emosi dan alat ukur yang digunakan adalah lembar evaluasi pemahaman terkait regulasi emosi. Tingkat pencapaian tersebut terdiri atas pemahaman atas fase transisi emosi remaja, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi regulasi emosi dan cara untuk melakukan regulasi emosi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik analisis paired sample t-test. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah nilai sig. (2-tailed) pada pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,01 (p < 0,05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan pemahaman partisipan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan psikoedukasi regulasi emosi. Psikoedukasi regulasi emosi ini dinilai bermanfaat bagi kesejahteraan pribadi dan hubungan sosial yang lebih baik pada siswa SMP. Adapun saran pengabdian terkait topik ini, yakni intensitas psikoedukasi regulasi emosi diharapkan diperbanyak di setiap sekolah serta edukasinya ditingkatkan dengan pemberian perlakuan aktivitas lebih nyata dalam praktek regulasi emosi.

Abstract

This research aims to see whether there is a relationship between mental fatigue and the adversity quotient in college students working on their thesis. This type of research is a survey that aims to see the relationship between mental fatigue and the adversity quotient in final students working on their thesis. The sampling methed used incidental sampling. The research sample was 105 final students who were writing their thesis from different faculties. This instrument uses two models, namely mental fatigue with the "Stroop Test" tool via the psytoolkit and adversity quotient scale. The data analysis method used is person product moment analysis with JASP 0.9.2 and showed r(12) = -.433, p = .00. The results show a negative relationship between mental fatigue and adversity quotient. This study concluded that the higher the mental fatigue of final-year students, the lower their adversity quotient.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social comparison on body dissatisfaction among female adolescents who use Instagram. Social comparison refers to the process in which individuals compare themselves to others in terms of physical appearance, while body dissatisfaction refers to the feeling of being unhappy with one’s body or physical appearance. This study used a quantitative method with a survey involving 385 female adolescents aged 18-22 who actively use Instagram. Data were collected using validated scales for body dissatisfaction and social comparison. Regression analysis results showed a significant relationship between social comparison and body dissatisfaction, with an F-value of 4.378 and a significance of 0.037. The R-Square value of 0.011 indicates that social comparison explains only 11% of the variance in body dissatisfaction. These results suggest that the more frequently adolescents engage in social comparison on Instagram, the higher their levels of body dissatisfaction. Therefore, the use of social media, especially Instagram, can exacerbate negative body perceptions among female adolescents, ultimately having a detrimental impact on mental health. Interventions are needed to reduce harmful social comparisons and promote self-acceptance.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sering menghadapi tekanan akademik dan sosial yang berpotensi menimbulkan stres, yang pada beberapa kasus berhubungan dengan perilaku merokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat stres dan perilaku merokok pada mahasiswa di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, melibatkan 407 mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan tingkat stres dengan perilaku merokok pada mahasiswa di kota Makassar. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan nilai P-value 0.560 (>0.05) yang berarti, tidak signifikan atau tidak memiliki hubungan pada mahasiswa di kota Makassar.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between self-control and media multitasking among K-Pop fans in Makassar. The research involved 467 participants aged 18–25 years, employing the Media Use Questionnaire (MUQ) to assess multitasking behaviors and a self-control scale based on Tangney's theoretical framework. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation revealed a weak yet significant positive relationship (r = 0.124, p < 0.05), indicating that higher self-control correlates with increased multitasking. This phenomenon reflects the integration of digital media into daily routines, where media multitasking becomes a habitual activity influenced by technological advancements and social contexts. Findings highlight that self-control plays a role in managing digital consumption, aligning with prior studies linking low self-control to problematic media usage. The study underscores the implications of multitasking behaviors on cognitive and emotional well-being, emphasizing the need for strategies to foster balanced digital media engagement. These results contribute to understanding digital media habits within the context of K-Pop fandom, offering insights for psychological and cultural studies on media behavior.

Abstract

Final students are students who often face academic pressure, final assignments, and preparations for entering the world of work. Emotional intelligence is important for dealing with stress, maintaining motivation, and having academic persistence which gives a final student the ability to continue fighting to achieve their academic goals despite facing challenges. various obstacles. For final students, challenges such as final assignments and preparation for graduation can test their level of persistence. This quantitative research aims to explain the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic persistence in final students. Data was collected using The Schutte Self Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT) scale for emotional intelligence and The academic persistence scale for academic persistence, then analysis was carried out using reliability and validity tests, assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of this research show that specifically emotional intelligence and academic persistence in final students have a relationship with a Correlation Coefficient of (.755), which means it has a positive relationship and a significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, for linearity it shows (628.951) for the sig F value. The significance deviation of linearity is 0.000. From the results of this research which shows its significance towards emotional intelligence and academic persistence in final students, it shows that high emotional intelligence is associated with stronger academic persistence. Overall, research on the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic persistence can yield a variety of beneficial implications in improving college students' academic success, supporting their well-being, and preparing them for future challenges.

Abstract

Menyelesaikan seluruh proses studi kedokteran tidaklah mudah bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan teman sebaya terhadap persistensi akademik pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 387 mahasiswa kedokteran di Kota Makassar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala dukungan teman sebaya dan skala persistensi akademik. Data dianalisis dengan teknik regresi sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dukungan teman sebaya terhadap persistensi akademik pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Kota Makassar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Adapun sumbangsih pengaruh dukungan teman sebaya terhadap persistensi akademik yaitu sebesar 26,8% dengan koefisien pengaruh positif. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi mahasiswa untuk berkomitmen saling membantu secara emosional selama studi.

Abstract

Non-local students often face significant challenges adjusting to their new academic and social environments. In college adjustment, it is necessary to have effort or fighting power (adversity quotient) to adapt to the place where they study. This quantitative study aims to examine the effect of the adversity quotient on college adjustment among non-local students in Makassar. The research participants consisted of 386 non-local students from outside South Sulawesi Province, currently in their first and second years of study in Makassar. The data collection instrument uses the College Self-Adjustment scale and the Adversity Quotient scale with a Likert scale model, both of which are modified scales. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software version 26. The results of this study prove that adversity quotient can have a significant influence on college adjustment (P=0.000; P<0.05). Subsequently, the percentage of adversity quotient contribution is 35.9% to college adjustment, while 64.1% is influenced by other variables that are not studied. Students who strive to adapt to the college environment will have good academic and non-academic performance and will survive in the following years. Conversely, students who make less effort to adapt to the college realm will have an impact on learning achievement results and feelings of dissatisfaction with their college experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran chronotype pada remaja di Kota Makassar. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini adalah remaja di Kota Makassar, berusia 15-22 tahun sebanyak 407 responden, menggunakan pendekatan non-probability sampling dengan desain purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala chronotype yang telah di adaptasi kedalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Tarmizi Thalib (2019). Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan aplikasi JASP 0.16.3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 98 (24.1%) remaja berada daam kategori Morningness, 195 (47.9%) berada dalam kategori Neither, dan 114 (28%) berada dalam kategori Eveningness.
