Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the FitClass mobile application in improving physical activity and learning motivation among senior high school students in Physical Education. The study is motivated by the low levels of student participation in conventional PE learning and the need for technology-based innovations to enhance engagement and outcomes. A quasi-experimental method was employed using a pretest-posttest design involving both experimental and control groups. The research involved 60 Grade XI students from a senior high school, randomly assigned into two groups. The experimental group used the FitClass mobile application over a six-week period, while the control group followed conventional learning methods. Data were collected using physical activity observation sheets and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results indicated a significant increase in both physical activity (p < 0.05) and learning motivation (p < 0.05) in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the FitClassmobile application is effective in enhancing physical activity and learning motivation in high school Physical Education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the use of wearable technology, specifically smartwatches, in improving collaborative learning in Physical Education subjects. Smartwatches function as a direct physical activity monitoring tool, including indicators such as heart rate, number of steps, and duration of activity. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving 60 high school students, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group used smartwatches during Physical Education learning activities, while the control group followed the learning without the support of such technology. The results obtained showed that the use of smartwatches had a positive impact on increasing social interaction and cooperation among students. This device encouraged active engagement, provided instant feedback, and increased students' awareness of their physical performance, which then became the subject of discussion in group work. In conclusion, the application of smartwatches in the context of Physical Education learning has the potential to strengthen collaboration between students and increase their participation in the learning process.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menghadirkan tantangan dalam meningkatkan literasi pendidikan, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi Universitas Negeri Makassar menghadapi kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai konsep dasar pendidikan yang relevan dengan bidang mereka. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan buku Pengantar Pendidikan berbasis digital sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Metode rancangan kegiatan, cara pemilihan khalayak sasaran, bahan dan alat yang digunakan, desain alat beserta kinerja dan produktivitasnya, teknik pengumpulan data, dan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari program menunjukkan 75% mahasiswa aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi kelas, sementara 25% mahasiswa lainnya menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi yang lebih rendah atau pasif. Walaupun terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam penggunaan teknologi, program ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital mahasiswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya dukungan teknis dan pelatihan lebih lanjut untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan dan membangun budaya literasi digital berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian ini berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Prodi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi, serta membuka peluang untuk pengembangan pembelajaran digital yang lebih efektif di masa depan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of creative thinking of students in informatics subjects. One of the factors that influences creative thinking is the lack of use of learning models. This research aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning learning model. There is an increase in students' creative thinking abilities in class x informatics subjects at SMA N 2 Gorontalo. This research uses a quasi-experimental research method with a nonequivalent control group design, pretest posttest and observation. The samples for this research are class X-1 with a total of 31 students as the experimental class and class X-2 with a total of 31 students as the control class. The posttest in the experimental class had an average score of 80.16 and the average posttest score in the control class was 72.74, then the hypothesis test showed a significant 2 tailed value of 0.01<0.05. The observation results show that the aspect of students' creative thinking abilities, namely elaboration, reached 84% and an N-gain of 0.3960 was obtained in the medium category because students were able to complete projects according to schedule, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in creative thinking abilities by using the Project Based Learning model.Kata kunci: Model Project Based Learning, berpikir kreatif

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of sportsmanship and cooperation values through physical education in elementary schools. The study employed a mixed-method approach combining qualitative observations and quantitative assessments of student behavior and attitude changes. Data were collected from 120 elementary students aged 9-12 years across three different schools in Jakarta over a 6-month period. The research utilized pre-test and post-test designs to measure changes in sportsmanship attitudes and cooperative behavior through structured physical education programs. Results indicate that well-designed physical education curricula significantly enhance students' sportsmanship values (p<0.05) and cooperation skills (p<0.01). The integration of traditional games, team sports, and character-building activities proved most effective in developing these values. Students showed improved respect for rules (78% increase), fair play behavior (65% increase), and teamwork skills (82% increase). The study concludes that physical education serves as an effective medium for character development, particularly in fostering sportsmanship and cooperation among elementary students. These findings provide empirical evidence for curriculum developers and educators to prioritize character-integrated physical education programs

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Jenis penelitian ini adalah research and development yang bertujuan untuk menguraikan proses pengembangan e-modul operasi hitung bilangan bulat, mendeskripsikan kualitas e-modul berdasarkan tingkat validitas, praktisitas, dan efektifitasnya, serta menunjukkan spesifikasi e-modul operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Proses pengembangan e-modul mengacu pada model ADDIE yang mencakup 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implement, dan evaluate. Responden uji coba produk adalah peserta didik kelas VII 2 MTs Manongkoki dengan jumlah peserta didik 20 orang. Penilaian oleh validator pada e-modul dan instrumen penelitian dinyatakan kriteria valid. Penilaian praktikalitas e-modul melalui indikator keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respon guru dinyatakan memenuhi. Serta penilaian efektifitas berdasarkan indikator respon peserta didik, aktivitas peserta didik, dan tes hasil belajar juga memenuhi. Sehingga produk yang dikembangkan dari hasil penelitian memenuhi kualifikasi valid, praktis, dan efektif serta layak untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar di dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning dengan pendekatan saintifik metode diskusi dan tanya jawab. ABSTRACT  This type of research was research and development, which aimed to describe the development process of an e-module on integer arithmetic operations, to describe the quality of the e-module based on its level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, and to present the specifications of the e-module on integer arithmetic operations. The development process of the e-module referred to the ADDIE model, which included five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product trial respondents were seventh-grade students from class VII-2 of MTs Manongkoki, totaling 20 students. The evaluation by validators on the e-module and research instruments was declared valid. The practicality assessment of the e-module through indicators of learning implementation and teacher responses was considered satisfactory. Furthermore, the effectiveness assessment based on indicators of student responses, student activities, and learning outcome tests was also satisfactory. Therefore, the product developed from this research met the qualifications of being valid, practical, and effective, and was deemed suitable to be used as a learning resource in the learning process, especially using the cooperative learning model with a scientific approach through discussion and question-and-answer methods.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan penambahan wawasan dan metode pembelajaran yang lebih kreati dalam Olahraga atletik khususnya Lari estaek di kemas dengan modifikasi dengan menggunakan media bola voli dan pembelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik. Lari estaek di kalangan siswa SMP masih kurang minat dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di karenakan kurangnya variasi - variasi pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar Pendidikan jasmani olahraga di lingkungan sekolah khsusnya tingkat SMP. Maka dari itu kami membuat pengabdian masyarakat yaitu memodifikasi pembelajaran lari estafek dengan menggunakan media bola voli sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik . Jadi dengan adanya pengabdian ini, kita semua berharap bisa mengenalkan variasi-variasi pembelajaran di lari estafek pada peserta didik di tingkat SMP. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Tim Dosen dan Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahraga dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Berdasarkan sosialisasi yang dilakukan, diharapkan guru dan siswa mengerti dengan teknik-teknik dasar dalam lari estaek dan aturan-aturan yang terdapat dalam lari estafek.

Abstract

Tujuan dari jurnal ini adalah merancang dan membuat video profil multimedia sebagai sarana informasi dan promosi Universitas Teknologi Makassar yang baru saja direorganisasi menjadi STMIK Akba. Dengan bermunculannya beberapa mata kuliah baru, perlu dilakukan upaya untuk memberikan informasi yang benar kepada calon mahasiswa. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), yang mengumpulkan data melalui penelitian lapangan, tinjauan pustaka, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video profil berbasis multimedia Universitas Teknologi Akba Makassar berhasil diimplementasikan dengan memperoleh rating keseluruhan sebesar 87%, menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut merupakan salah satu sarana promosi dan informasi bagi calon mahasiswa yang efektif.

Abstract

PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata is a company engaged in organizing Hajj and Umrah. PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata since its inception has focused on the field of organizing Hajj and Umrah, and has dispatched thousands of pilgrims each year and provided the best service to pilgrims while in the holy land. In order for Aliyah Wisata to be better known by the wider community, a promotional media in the form of video motion graphics is needed so that the delivery of interesting information and able to convey information well to potential customers. This study aims to design a company profile video for PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata through motion graphic animation to be better known by the wider community, especially in Makassar City. This study uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method which consists of 5 phases, namely the concept phase (concept), the design phase (design), the material collecting phase (material collection), the assembly phase (manufacture), the testing phase (testing) and distribution phase. The final result of this research is an animated motion graphic video as a company promotion media regarding the implementation of hajj and umrah.

Abstract

Terdapat perubahan pada dunia pendidikan setelah pandemi Covid-19, yaitu pembelajaran kini mulai menggunakan teknologi digital. Penggunaan teknologi tentunya mempunyai dampak positif seperti adanya motivasi untuk belajar mandiri, namun juga memiliki dampak negatif jika dilakukan secara berlebihan seperti menyebabkan tekanan psikologis. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar digital terhadap kesehatan mental peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan menelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei yang dilakukan pada 200 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang diberikan menggunakan google form. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner kessler phychological distress scale yang sudah valid dan reliabel. Teknik analisis data berupa uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara durasi penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran daring dan kesehatan mental peserta didik (r = -0,45, p < 0,01). Semakin lama peserta didik terlibat dalam pembelajaran daring, semakin tinggi tingkat kecemasan dan stres yang mereka alami. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental peserta didik dalam konteks pembelajaran daring termasuk kesulitan teknis, terbatasnya interaksi sosial, dan overload tugas.
