Abstract

Expert system for identifying skin types in skincare product selection using the certainty factor (CF) method aims to evaluate the user's skin characteristics and provide appropriate skincare recommendations, considering the different needs of each skin type. The CF method was chosen due to its ability to handle uncertainty in decision-making and provide accurate estimations. This system consists of several stages, starting with the collection of knowledge about skin types through questionnaires and interviews with dermatology experts. The collected data is then translated into rules processed using CF to provide diagnoses with the corresponding level of confidence. System testing shows that the skin type diagnosis provided has high accuracy, making this system a useful tool for helping individuals select the right skincare products. The results of this study indicate that this expert system is effective in assisting users in choosing products suitable for their skin types, reducing the risk of skin problems, and contributing to the improvement of skin health.

Abstract

In an era with advanced technology, technology can help with all needs and facilitate various activities. Attendance in a company is one of the measurement values in employee performance, the attendance used in taking attendance is sometimes still manual and the problem is when the location of the workplace is not in one place. Sometimes attendance data can be manipulated by employees due to lack of monitoring. An attendance application is needed that facilitates digital-based attendance to facilitate attendance and attendance. Building attendance using software development with the agile development method by utilizing face recognition technology and GPS (Global Positioning System) to track employee locations and website-based to facilitate access to various devices. The software that will be used to help build the application is figma as an application design, visual studio code to build website-based applications that support various programming languages. The attendance application is built with the aim that employees can take attendance easily and the company can monitor it easily to reduce fraud and data manipulation by employees due to lack of monitoring from the company.

Abstract

PT Athayasa Mandiri, specializing in heavy equipment and forklift maintenance, faces challenges in real-time monitoring of field technicians due to an ineffective manual system, resulting in delays and reduced service quality. To address this, an Android-based monitoring application is developed using GPS for location tracking and Google Maps API for navigation and route optimization. Built with Flutter for a modern interface and Firebase for reliable data storage, the application adopts the Design Thinking methodology to address user needs, including technicians and management. Key features include real-time location verification, travel history reports, and schedule monitoring, minimizing potential fraud while enhancing task coordination. This system improves transparency, accelerates decision-making, and boosts operational efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction. Additionally, the application is designed to support future IoT integration, providing strategic value and strengthening the company’s competitiveness in the industrial market.

Abstract

Taboo rattan is a large rattan with thinner and cream colored skin, and its contents (heart) are white and have rather larger pores, making rattan taboo is softer and more flexible, rattan taboos are widely used for furniture as raw material, each stem from taboos and taboos has a flaw, where every defect of the rattan affects the quality and price of the stem from a rattan taboo, so there are still many of the taboo taboo enthusiasts who do not know about defects. Sometimes people are often deceived into buying taboo taboos. Expert System is a branch of AI (Artificial Intelligence) which makes special extensions to the specialization of knowledge in order to solve a problem in the Human Expert. The method used is the backward chaining method that is suitable in identifying the rattan taboo defects because in this approach tracking starts from the destination, then find a rule that has the purpose for the conclusion. Furthermore, the tracking process uses the premise of the rule as a new goal and looks for other rules with new goals as the conclusion and the process continues until all possibilities are found. Backward Chaining is used to retreat from the destination to the path that leads to the destination. Therefore, it can be referred to as a driven goal. This research aims to make it easier for people to identify the defects of taboos and taboos, with the help of the application to provide knowledge about the defects in rattan taboos.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan suatu keseluruhan elemen-elemen terkait yang didalamnya terdiri dari wisatawan, daerah tujuan wisata, perjalanan, industri dan lain sebagainya yang merupakan kegiatan pariwisata. Dengan tingginya jumlah kedatangan wisatawan asing maka diperlukan adanya strategi dan kebijakan sedini mungkin yang dapat dilakukan oleh pemerintah kota batam dalam melakukan pengelolaan dan pembangunan sarana dan prasarana yang dapat mendukung perkembangan dan kemajuan pariwisata yang ada. Dengan tingginya jumlah kedatangan wisatawan asing. Maka di butuhkan sebuah metode yang dapat meramalkan jumlah atau frekuensi kedatangan wisatawan pada sebuah daerah. Seperti Artificial Neural Network backpropagation yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu menganalisa dan meramalkan jumlah wisatawan pada sebuah daerah. Setelah data didapat maka daerah tersebut dapat mengatur kebijakan bahkan menambah lokasi wisata pada wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SDLC model waterfall, model ini sangat sederhana dan mudah digunakan untuk penelitian pemula karena linier untuk setiap tahapannya dari studi kelayakan, literatur review, analisis permasalahan serta pengolahan dan implentasi algoritma artifisial neural network. Sehingga hasil penelitian dapat di implementasikan untuk melakukan prediksi kedatangan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke kota batam. untuk tingkat kesiapan teknologi pada penelitian ini adalah melakukan pembuktian konsep teoritis dan analisis dengan cara melakukan pengembanga teknologi dengan dasar model matematika sehingga dimungkinkan untuk disimulasikan.Sehingga nanti dapat ditarik kesimpulan yang bisa digunakan untuk mengambil keputusan pada masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Pada zaman teknologi saat ini, arus informasi bergulir dengan sangat deras. Dimana kecepatan dalam pengiriman data menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Teknologi jaringan sering digunakan dalam melakukan pengiriman data dari satu komputer ke komputer lainnya. Dalam lalu-lintas suatu jaringan, Internet Service Provider mempunyai peran yang sangat penting, karena penyedia layanan jasa internet untuk kliennya guna mendapatkan informasi. sebuah ISP mengalami gangguan internal, tentunya klien sama sekali tidak dapat mengakses internet. Untuk itulah dibuat suatu solusi dengan menambahkan ISP yang berbeda. Namun dengan adanya beberapa ISP, bandwidth yang diberikan oleh masing-masing ISP. Sehingga semua bandwidth harus digabungkan menjadi satu agar pembagian bandwidth untuk masing-masing pengguna mendapatkan layanan yang sama. Maka diperlukan suatu teknik yaitu load balancing. load balancing dapat menggabungkan beberapa jalur akses internet yang kemudian bekerja bersama-sama tampak seperti satu internet yang terintegrasi. Pfsense merupakan distro linux turunan free bsd, disesuaikan untuk digunakan sebagai firewall dan router. Pfsense tampilan sederhana dengan web gui administrator memudahkan kita mengoperasikanya. Dengan metode tersebut maka jaringan yang diperoleh oleh user atau penguna akan lebih optimal. Hal ini memungkinkan akses jaringan internet lebih optimal daripada hanya menggunakan satu jaringan saja. Penggabungan bandwidth ini akan memberikan manfaat pada efektivitas bekerja yang selalu terhubung ke jaringan internet.

Abstract

Background: Pluralism and multiculturalism are critical issues in the context of global education, particularly in increasingly diverse societies in terms of culture, religion, and ethnicity. Islamic education, as a value-based spiritual education system, holds significant potential in shaping inclusive and tolerant communities. However, challenges arise when exclusive interpretations of religious teachings hinder the development of a pluralistic educational approach. Aim: This study aims to examine the relationship between Islamic education and multicultural education management in efforts to develop an education system that is responsive to diversity. Method: The research employed a literature study approach by reviewing 50 scientific articles, from which 15 were selected based on their relevance to the theme, methodological approach, and contribution to the discourse. The selection process was carried out in three stages to identify articles that specifically addressed the values of pluralism, strategies of education management, and the challenges of implementation in the context of Islamic education. Results: The analysis revealed that pluralism, from the perspective of Islam, is an authentic value reflected in the teachings of the Qur’an, which emphasizes the importance of mutual understanding and respect for differences. Islamic education was found to be highly relevant to multicultural education management, as both prioritize justice, equality, and tolerance. Strategies identified include the integration of multicultural content into the curriculum, teacher training, inclusive classroom management, and anti-discrimination policies. Discussion: The study highlights key challenges, including limited teacher understanding of multicultural concepts, societal resistance to pluralism, and underdeveloped educational policies supporting diversity. To address these challenges, solutions such as curriculum reform, capacity-building for educators, and the creation of safe and inclusive learning environments are proposed. These strategies aim to strengthen the capacity of Islamic educational institutions to manage diversity effectively. Conclusion: This study concludes that Islamic education can serve as a strategic force in developing a multicultural education system. It contributes significantly to the creation of a peaceful, just, and respectful society by embedding the values of pluralism within educational management practices.

This research develops an e-catalog application called Brand Mansion Club to increase the sales profit of a homegrown luxury brand through digitalization. The application showcases exclusive products from Brand Mansion Studio, making It simplifies the process for customers to locate and buy the hight quality product. With innovative features, this application aims to improve marketing efficiency, expand the customer base, and increase sales profit for the homegrown luxury brand.This catalog application was designed for the Mansion Club brand, aiming To simplify user access to information on the products and services offered. Using the Android platform, the application offers an intuitive interface and functionality that allows users to browse and select products efficiently. The Brand Mansion Club application is tailored specifically for Mansion Club, a luxury brand known for its exquisite and exclusive offerings. By leveraging the power of the Android platform, The application offers users an easy-to-navigate, visually appealing, and intuitive interface. Users can quickly browse through the brand’s product catalog, access detailed product descriptions, and make informed purchasing decisions with ease. The app also integrates convenient features such as personalized recommendations, promotional offers, and real-time updates on new product arrivals, ensuring a satisfying and engaging shopping experience.

Abstract

The globalization era has now entered Industry 4.0 where technology has developed tremendously. In addition to the globalization, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced the entirety of the world to change their whole way of living. In response to these conditions, Muslims must be able to cope with the challenges they face in order to adapt. Digital ecosystem is a solution to the increased numbers of people utilizing their smart phone in their daily activities in this globalization era. Based on the problems stated, the development of an Islamic digital ecosystem application is needed. The UCD is the go-to method for this research because it complies with the objective of the research. The method that will be used for the testing and evaluation of this research is the SEQ and the SUS method. The end result of this research has come up with the solution with the IHYA Digital Ecosystem mobile application, that obtained the result of SEQ testing of average 5, 6, and 7 score and the SUS testing score of 84.2. And it is concluded that the IHYA Digital Ecosystem mobile application design can be easily used and accepted by the users. Abstract

Productive zakat is the allocation of zakat money to beneficiaries (mustahik) which is used to develop their business to meet their daily needs sustainably and is not directly used for consumption needs. The problem in this research is how the productive zakat distribution in BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City? Has the distribution productive zakat in BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City been effective? and has the distribution of productive zakat in BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City provided sustainable benefits for mustahik? On the previous studies, researchers only measured the level of effectiveness, while in this study productive zakat is said to be effective if it can provide sustainable benefits for its recipients. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method uses the allocation-to-collection ratio to measure the productive zakat distribution. While the qualitative methods uses an interview. The object used in this study is the BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City financial statement from 2019 to 2023. The result of this study indicates that the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City continues to decline from 2019 to 2023 in a very effective category, but decreasing to quite effective with an ACR percentage of 132% – 53,8%. It can be concluded that mustahik still felt the sustainability of the benefits of the productive zakat program business capital assistance provided by Baznas Sungai Penuh City. In the research data, it can be concluded that Mustahik continues to benefit from the zakat assistance provided by BAZNAS Sungai Penuh City until now.
