Abstract

Proses belajar-mengajar, sering disebut proses mengajar, adalah suatu kegiatan dimana kurikulum lembaga pendidikan dipraktekkan untuk membawa peserta didik mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung selalu berorientasi pada guru, selain itu metode yang digunakan guru dalam belajar mengajar juga kurang beragam, sehingga siswa tidak dapat mengembangkan kemampuannya di kelas dan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar mengajar menjadi lemah. Pembelajaran membutuhkan materi yang menarik, mudah dipahami, mendorong partisipasi dan tidak membosankan. Penggunaan media flipchart merupakan salah satu media yang diyakini mampu mengatasi ketidaktertarikan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merangsang minat belajar siswa melalui media flipchart. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan sampel 7 siswa, dan uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji hipotesis digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media flipchart berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas 2 di Bimbingan Gombok Utara. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, minat belajar siswa ditentukan secara rinci. Secara umum siswa senang belajar dengan bantuan media flipchart, karena media tersebut lebih baik digunakan oleh siswa dan mereka lebih memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya penggunaan media flipchart berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa di Bimbingan Belajar Guidance Gombok Utara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajarn concept sentence terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Surat Pribadi oleh Siswa kelas VII SMP Budisatrya Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2022-2023. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Budisatrya Medan yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Sedangkan sampel diambil sebanyak dua kelas, yaitu 30 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvesional dan 30 orang siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran concept sentence. Berdsarkan kerangka teoritis dan kerangka konseptual dapat dirumuskan bahwa dalam penelitian adalah “Ada pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Concept Sentence terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Surat Pribadi”. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk melihat ada pengaruh hasil akibat adanya perbedaan perlakuan yang diberikan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah berupa tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t Independent Sample T-Test.Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik penelitian ini telah menjawab hipotesis yakni: memperoleh nilai rata-rata perbedaan antara post tes kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 74,40 (sbelum diberikan treatment) dengan nilai post tes eksperimen dengan rata-rata 79,97 (sesudah diberikan treatment) yaitu Asym.Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000, karena nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari <0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Hipotesis diterima” artinya ada perbedaan dari sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran concept sentence dalam kegiatan menulis surat pribadi oleh siswa SMP Budisatrya Medan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' ability to compose observation report texts. Based on interviews conducted with previous Indonesian subject teachers, it is known that the cause of the low ability to compose observation report texts is because students find it difficult to express ideas, provide understanding and object details, choose the right diction, spelling and punctuation. Likewise interviews with several students, they stated that the text material of the observation report was quite difficult plus the learning that had been carried out was not interesting. Therefore, to improve the skills of compiling observation report texts, the Discovery learning model and the Exploration of the Surrounding Nature (JAS) method are used. Using Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is often used to improve learning processes and outcomes. The research subjects were class VII-10 students of SMPN 11 Medan. Based on the results of the description and analysis of the discussion of cycle 1 and cycle II data, students' abilities in the Observation Reports (LHO) material increased by 35%. It can be concluded that students' abilities have increased through the discovery model and the JAS method in compiling the text of the Observation Report (LHO).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using storytelling-based experience, interaction, communication, and reflection (thinking) learning models on the collaboration skills of fifth grade students in the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia. The category of this research is Pre-Experimental research using the One group Pretest design. t-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was the fifth grade students of the North Gombak Learning Studio, Malaysia, totaling 8 students. The data were collected using tests and observations. Meanwhile, the research data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with the t test, based on the average posttest results obtained. the posttest average results of students' collaborative skills after the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was greater than the average pretest result before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model, the average pretest obtained before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was 63.75 after being given activities with the treatment of the storytelling-based Thinking learning model so that the posttest average score was 85.00. It can be concluded that the form of storytelling-based Thinking learning that is applied to Indonesian language learning has an effect on the collaboration skills of class V students at the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia

Abstract

Silabus matakuliah Kemuhammadiyahan di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam UMSU, masih harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan lulusan. Rumusan Kompetensi Dasar, metode dan capaian pembelajaran yang terdapat dalam Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), masih belum sesuai dengan standar teori perumusannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rumusan silabus dan RPS,  serta mengembangkan Silabus dan RPS matakuliah Kemuhammadiyahan bagi mahasiswa Program Studi PAI UMSU. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode Desain Berbasis Riset. Langkah-langkah penelitiannya; identifiksasi dan analisis masalah, merancang produk, uji validitas isi oleh para ahli dan revisi, serta melakukan refleksi produk. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis dokumen, wawancara, dan Focus Group Discussion, seta review rancangan oleh pakar.  Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang dilakukan secara interaktif.dan berlangsung. secara kontinu. Adapun langkah-langkah penelitian datanya adalah reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Konten Silabus matakuliah Kemuhammadiyahan di Prodi PAI UMSU  masih kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan lulusan. Semua Kompetensi Dasar yang dirumuskan menggunakan kata kerja non operasional. Metode yang dicantumkan bersifat konvensional. Rumusan capaian pembelajaran masih pada level C1 dan C2 dengan kategori LOTS. 2) Pengembangan silabus Kemuhammadiyahan Prodi PAI ditambah dengan beberapa pokok bahasan dari kurikulum Kemuhammadiyahan tingkat SMA. Pengembangan RPS dilakukan dengan merumuskan Kompetensi Dasar menggunakan kata kerja operasional. Metode yang dicantumkan harus dapat memicu berfikir kritis, kemampuan menalar, dan berpusat pada mahasiswa. Perumusan capaian pembelajarannya harus pada level C3-C6 (HOTS).

Abstract

The creativity space activities for the nation's children aim to educate utilization goods used/trash become goods useful and selling value, apart from that, to instill a sense of nationalism, caring, creativity and empathy for children starting from an early age and to educate and familiarize children with being able to work in groups or collaboratively . This program will have benefits if the expected goals can be achieved. took the target subject of developing creativity in children aged 7 to 15 years in a learning house on the banks of the Deli river because it considers the importance of providing environmental awareness and instilling good character in the younger generation, especially children who live and are on the banks of the river. Through this training, children can learn various new skills and hone their talents. Participation in children's work activities can increase children's self-confidence and build social skills. Children are able to produce unique and creative works with the right support and guidance. Children's work training can also be a forum for teaching children values such as cooperation, perseverance and responsibility.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan ini diperuntukkan bagi guru-guru di SMK Tritech Informatika Medan, dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan kapabilitas guru bahasa Indonesia dalam memanfaatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan para guru yakni multimedia interaktif berbasis TPACK. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia akan kurang bermakna dan tidak berkesan serta membosankan tanpa sintegritas dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran yang tepat dan tidak efektif dilaksanakan tanpa adanya media pembelajaran yang menarik. Hasil Pelatihan terlihat bahwa kemampuan guru bahasa Indonesia sebelum menggunakan multimedia interaktif memperoleh 70,5 pada kategori baik. Kemampuan evaluasinya 75 atau cukup baik. Kemampuan reflesi dan remedial sebesar 75,01 atau cukup baik. Sedangkan kemampuan menggunakan media dan teknologi sebesar 65,05 atau rendah. Adapun, kemampuan pembelajaran setelah menggunakan multimedia interaktif sebesar 85,5, kemampuan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran 83,3, sedangkan kemampuan evaluasi sebesar 87,9, kemampuan pengguna media dan teknologi 88,7. Dari Hasil pelatihan tersebut, menunjukkan kombinasi pendapat dari para guru bahasa Indonesia sebagai peserta pelatihan tentang multimedia interaktif, tingkat kecenderungan kepuasan guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan, terkhusus terhadap penggunaan multimedia interaktif Sangat baik.Abstract: This activity is intended for teachers at SMK Tritech Informatika Medan, with the main objective of increasing the capability of Indonesian language teachers in utilising and developing the ability of teachers, namely TPACK-based interactive multimedia. Indonesian language learning will be less meaningful and memorable and boring without integrity in proper learning management and ineffective implemented without attractive learning media. Training results showed that the ability of Indonesian language teachers before using interactive multimedia obtained 70.5 in the good category. The evaluation ability is 75 or good enough. Reflection and remedial skills are 75.01 or quite good. While the ability to use media and technology is 65.05 or low. Meanwhile, the learning ability after using interactive multimedia is 85.5, the ability to implement learning is 83.3, while the evaluation ability is 87.9, the ability to use media and technology is 88.7. From the results of the training, showing a combination of opinions from Indonesian language teachers as trainees about interactive multimedia, the level of teacher satisfaction tendency towards training activities, especially towards the use of interactive multimedia is very good.

Abstract

This comprehensive study explores the predictive role of self-esteem in relation to anxiety, specifically trait anxiety and state anxiety. The research encompasses 229 college students from a university in Medan, Indonesia, who participated in an online survey. Utilizing Multi-Group Analysis PLS-SEM, the collected data underwent thorough analysis. The outcomes obtained from partial least squares structural equation modeling demonstrate that self-esteem has a negative impact on students' anxiety levels, encompassing both trait anxiety and state anxiety. Furthermore, the structural model was assessed across two distinct gender groups (Group 1: Female; Group 2: Male), and the results indicate the model's consistency across these groups. This study contributes novel insights to the existing literature on anxiety mitigation within educational contexts, particularly among Eastern populations. In conclusion, the findings emphasize the crucial role of self-esteem as a predictor of anxiety among college students in Indonesia. The research highlights a negative association between self-esteem and both trait anxiety and state anxiety. Additionally, by demonstrating the robustness of the structural model across gender groups, the study implies the universal implications of its findings. Overall, this research provides valuable insights for educators and practitioners seeking to address anxiety-related concerns and enhance the well-being of students in educational settings.

Abstract

This quantitative study examines the impact of entrepreneurial competence and education on the performance of small industrial enterprises, specifically in Medan's leather shoes and wood furniture industries. The research focuses on a sample of 154 businesses from a total population of 250, utilizing questionnaires and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for analysis. The findings highlight the positive influence of entrepreneurial competence and non-formal education on business performance. The study underscores self-efficacy's role as a mediator between entrepreneurial competence and performance, indicating that entrepreneurs with higher self-efficacy effectively navigate business challenges. However, the study doesn't confirm self-efficacy as a mediator for formal and non-formal education's impact on performance. This suggests that while competence and non-formal education directly benefit performance, the interplay of self-efficacy with formal education is more complex. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurial competence for business success and the role of self-efficacy in overcoming challenges. While self-efficacy's role in formal education needs more exploration, this study enhances understanding of factors affecting small industrial enterprises' performance, offering practical insights for ambitious entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Discovery learning model in Civics material on the critical thinking abilities of fifth grade students. The research uses quantitative methods with the discovery learning model. The Quantitative method is research that uses a lot of numbers, starting from the data collection process to its interpretation. This research was carried out in class V of the Gombak Selangor Malaysia DICTIONARY Learning Studio. using a population of 8 students who were also used as samples. This sampling technique uses a saturated sampling technique, where this technique makes the entire population the sample. The results of data analysis after the t-test data on pretest and posttest scores showed that from the 8 samples obtained an average score of 76.60 with a standard deviation of 10.784 and the average posttest score was 87.25 with a standard deviation of 6.798. After testing the hypothesis the tailed sig value is 0.000 < 0.05, a decision can be made that Ha is accepted. In other words, the discovery learning learning model in PKN learning has an influence on class V students of the KAMUS Study Studio, North Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia.
