Abstract

The implementation of deep learning in elementary schools continues to face significant challenges, particularly in strategic learning management and the availability of standardized assessment instruments capable of validly measuring higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to develop a strategic learning management model based on deep learning integrated with standardized assessment instruments to enhance elementary school students' analytical, evaluative, and creative thinking abilities. A mixed-methods approach was employed involving 240 students from eight elementary schools. Data were collected through cognitive tests, questionnaires, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using student cognitive achievement tests, Repeated Measures Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that the proposed model significantly improved students' deep learning competencies, with a 37.0% increase in the experimental group compared with a 12.0% increase in the control group. The developed assessment instrument also demonstrated excellent construct validity and high reliability. Furthermore, teacher readiness, technology integration, and institutional support were identified as the primary factors influencing the successful implementation of the model. These findings contribute a validated strategic learning management model and standardized assessment instrument that support the development of higher-order thinking skills and improve the quality of learning in elementary education.

Abstract

Good teacher management is essential to improve the quality of education at the elementary level. This article focuses on the analysis of teacher management in elementary schools and presents ways to improve the effectiveness of that management. Efforts to improve the quality of education through teacher management can be considered as one of the determining factors for success or failure in education. Management can be understood as a process of arranging so that something that is managed can run smoothly, directed, effectively, and efficiently. In addition, management also includes the implementation of activities by utilizing all available resources, which have been planned to be implemented and evaluated periodically according to certain procedures in order to achieve the goals that have been set. To improve the effectiveness of teacher management, good planning is needed, selecting needs that are in accordance with school conditions, and sustainable development strategies. This development can be done through professional training, competency certification, observation of learning practices, academic supervision, and the provision of fair and balanced compensation. With mature and structured management, educators can carry out their functions well in creating a quality and competitive learning environment.

Abstract

Educational institutions must navigate rapid change and increasing complexity, making school leadership a crucial factor in shaping organizational conditions. This study investigates the relationship between principals’ adaptive leadership and two organizational outcomes: positive school culture and school climate. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 63 vocational high school teachers through self-administered questionnaires. Adaptive leadership was the independent variable, while positive school culture and school climate were the dependent variables. Descriptive statistics and simple linear regression were applied for analysis. The results show that adaptive leadership is significantly associated with both positive school culture and school climate, accounting for a meaningful proportion of the variance in each. Leadership practices characterized by responsiveness, participation, and flexibility contribute to favorable organizational conditions. However, the effect sizes suggest that leadership is only one of several influencing factors. The findings support adaptive leadership theory in vocational education and highlight the need for further research on additional organizational variables and longitudinal school improvement processes

Abstract

Administrative service quality has become a critical component of student experience in higher education, particularly as institutions face increasing demands for efficiency, responsiveness, and service consistency. This study examines whether excellent service management significantly improves administrative service quality in higher education. Using a quantitative cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 277 undergraduate students who had directly interacted with faculty-level administrative services. Excellent service management was operationalized through indicators of responsiveness, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, clarity, and information consistency, while administrative service quality was measured using the SERVQUAL framework. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, and simple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that students generally perceive both excellent service management and administrative service quality positively. Regression results reveal a strong, significant effect of excellent service management on administrative service quality, accounting for 77.7% of the variance in students’ perceptions. Interpersonal service attributes emerged as the strongest, while digital responsiveness was identified as a key area for improvement. The study contributes to higher education service literature by empirically positioning excellent service management as a measurable antecedent of administrative service quality. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of aligning managerial service practices with both face-to-face and digital service delivery to support student-centered administration in higher education.

Abstract

Coding and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly introduced in primary education, yet evidence remains fragmented across computational thinking, AI literacy, digital literacy, ethics, and classroom implementation. This systematic literature review and evidence mapping synthesises primary-school studies published between 2021 and 18 July 2026. A verified screening log was developed through structured keyword searching, publisher and DOI verification, and backwards–forward citation checking. Eligibility was limited to empirical studies involving primary-school students, teachers, or schools and directly examining coding, AI learning, AI literacy, or classroom implementation relevant to pedagogical deep learning. Twenty-three studies were included. The evidence shows a shift from perception-oriented research toward concrete instructional designs, including block-based machine learning, unplugged–plugged sequences, collaborative inquiry, digital storytelling, AIoT, physical computing, analogy-based pedagogy, and debugging. Computational thinking and AI literacy were the most frequently reported outcomes. Stronger learning experiences shared three features: visible AI mechanisms, authentic problem contexts, and structured reflection. Evidence concerning long-term effects, equity, standardised assessment, and explicit deep-learning frameworks remains limited. The synthesis proposes a mechanism linking teacher readiness and infrastructure with pedagogical processes and student outcomes. These findings imply that primary-school implementation should prioritise teacher readiness, age-appropriate scaffolding, meaningful problem solving, and reflection rather than technology use alone, providing direction for curriculum design, teacher development, and educational policy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the obligation of a teacher in making a Lesson Plan (RPP in Indonesian language) prior to conducting instructional activities. Consequently, it is imperative for prospective teachers, specifically students enrolled in the PGSD programme at Ngudi Waluyo University, to possess the ability to effectively and accurately develop lesson plans in accordance with relevant regulations. The primary objective of this study is to examine the learning objectives of the theme RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) in the Indonesian Language and Literature Learning course within the elementary school curriculum of 2013, specifically focusing on the low grade level. The participants in this study were randomly selected fourth-semester thematic RPP 3 students of PGSD at the University of Ngudi Waluyo. These students were enrolled in the Low Class Elementary School Indonesian Language and Literature Learning course. The employed methodology is the descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the findings derived from the analysis of the three thematic lesson plans, it can be deduced that there exists a congruence between the learning objectives outlined in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and the objectives stipulated in the relevant laws and regulations. Each lesson plan demonstrates alignment with the analysed aspects, specifically: 1) the learning objectives under scrutiny, which encompass the intended learning outcomes as prescribed. The Core Competencies (KI) encompass various components, including spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and abilities. 2) The learning objectives are aligned with the Basic Competencies (KD). 3) The learning objectives incorporate Operational Verbs. 4) The learning objectives encompass the ABCD components.
