Abstract

Kata Kunci: Islamic entrepreneurship; pengolahan sampah plastik The lack of adequate income to support life makes it difficult for mothers in the Majelis Taklimal Barokahl of Mekarsari Village. The lack of entrepreneurship is also a contributing factor. One of the efforts to provide a solution to this problem apart from cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit among the members, is also by providing training that can increase the value of an item, which was previously in the form of plastic waste, into a creation that can be of use value. Plastic waste can be a product that attracts buyers. Creative works of plastic waste have a promising commercial value. The processing of plastic waste into various handicrafts with sale value is expected to create business opportunities for members of the majelis taklim.. Likewise with the Islamic approach, in the sense that while being trained to be creative, the members are also given input to increase their entrepreneurial spirit. It is hoped that spiritual and economic well-being will be achieved for the partner community for this community service activity. Keywords: Islamic entrepreneurship; plastic waste management

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of financial knowledge and personality traits on the investment behavior of Gen Z and Millennial women with education level serving as a mediating variable.Method: The research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The study sample includes Gen Z and Millennial women in Bekasi Regency. A purposive sampling technique was used, combining online and direct questionnaire distribution methods as well as interviews. A total of 100 respondents were selected for the study.Result: The findings indicate that financial knowledge does not directly impact investment behavior or education level. However, personality traits significantly influence both investment behavior and education level. Additionally, education level significantly affects investment behavior. While education level does not mediate the relationship between financial knowledge and investment behavior, it does mediate the relationship between personality traits and investment behavior.Practical Implications for Economic Growth and Development: This research underscores the importance of financial knowledge for Gen Z and Millennial women, particularly as Gen Z is poised to become the "golden generation" by 2045. By fostering sound financial management practices through financial knowledge and personality traits, individuals can effectively convert income into long-term assets through various investment instruments. This, in turn, contributes to sustainable economic development and growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, solvability, and profitability on firm value in companies listed in the LQ 45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2013-2022. The study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual financial reports. The population consists of 45 LQ 45 companies, and through purposive sampling, 14 companies were selected as samples over 10 years, resulting in 140 observations. The independent variables include liquidity proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), solvability proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and profitability proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). The dependent variable is firm value proxied by Price Earning Ratio (PER). Data analysis uses panel data regression with Eviews. Model selection through the Chow Test and Hausman Test yields the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results indicate that liquidity (CR) has a positive and significant effect on firm value, solvability (DER) has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, while profitability (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on firm value. The adjusted R² of 0.771 indicates the three variables explain 77.1% of the variation in firm value.

Abstract

This study resolves this long-standing puzzle by identifying firm size as a critical boundary condition for dividend signaling effectiveness. Analyzing Indonesian manufacturing companies during 2019-2023 using Moderated Regression Analysis, we uncover three key findings. First, dividend policy powerfully enhances firm value, confirming that dividends serve as credible signals of managerial confidence in emerging markets. Second, profitability remains a universal value driver regardless of firm characteristics. Third, and most critically, firm size substantially amplifies the dividend-value relationship: large firms' dividend announcements generate significantly stronger market responses than identical signals from smaller counterparts. The underlying mechanism is visibility larger firms command greater analyst coverage, institutional investor attention, and media scrutiny, enabling their signals to reach broader, more sophisticated audiences capable of accurately decoding dividend implications. Conversely, smaller firms' signals may go unnoticed or be discounted due to limited information dissemination channels. Debt policy shows no systematic value impact, challenging trade-off theory's universal applicability in emerging market contexts. These findings extend signaling theory by establishing firm size as a boundary condition and offer immediate practical implications: corporate managers must calibrate dividend policies according to firm visibility, while investors should incorporate firm size when interpreting dividend announcements
