Abstract

This study aims to assess the environmental impact of a contributing project in the context of building certification and compliance with qualitative data through literature analysis and documentation and Milles & Huberman model analysis techniques. The findings from the study are expected to provide valuable insights into the environmental implications of the project, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities to improve sustainability. The results will be crucial in informing policy decisions and guiding future initiatives in the field of green building, ultimately contributing to a more environmentally conscious and environmentally responsible development sector.

Abstract

This research aims to see how to design a drug supply prediction application using the Holt-Winter Exponential Smoothing method. The collection methods used in the research are as follows: observation, interviews. The prototyping system development method includes several important stages in designing research applications. The first stage is communication. After that, the Quick Plan stage. Construction of prototype stages. The final stage, deployment delivery and feedback, is the phase of system use by users. In addition, the team also conducts regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance. These stages together form an iterative process for developing research applications using the prototyping method. Based on the research results, it was found that the test results for the drugs amoxicillin, cefixime, paracetamol, and CTM showed that the MAPE value was less than 10% for these four drugs, which means that the predictive value has quite high accuracy. So it can be concluded that the Holt Winter Exponential Smoothing algorithm can be well implemented to predict drug supplies.

Abstract

This research aims to discover how to create and implement an expert system for prenatal disease diagnosis. To prepare this study, the author employed several data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and a literature review. The system to be designed was developed using an object-oriented paradigm and a Rapid Application Development (RAD) technique. Multiple development stages are involved in creating RAD, including requirement planning, workshop design, and implementation. Based on the study findings, it was discovered that the PHP programming language, MySQL database management system, Apache web server, UML tool, and RAD system development methodology were used to create an expert system for identifying illnesses in expectant mothers. The forward chaining method is used for this expert system, where the first stages are to create an inference tree and set rules. This system likewise computes the consistency test using the Bayes theorem method. With an 80% accuracy rate, SISPADIBU can be used as a diagnostic tool for disorders related to pregnancy. SISPADIBU can use the user-entered symptoms to present the diagnosis results. According to the survey results, 80% of users said that SISPADIBU was highly user-friendly, that the layout display was simple to use, and that it was constructive in educating users about pregnancy disorders.

Abstract

Micro business called UMKM is currently considered an effective means of alleviating poverty because it can create sizable job opportunities for domestic workers, thus greatly assisting the government in reducing unemployment. This has become the concern of the government in several regions. The local government has disbursed several budgets to provide Appropriate Technology (TTG) machines for UMKM actors. However, UMKM actors face many obstacles when they receive machine assistance from the government. The unpreparedness of human resources causes technology transfer not to work. It is not uncommon for beneficiaries to have only junior high school to elementary school education. Meanwhile, TTG machines are prone to damage if they are not cared for properly, so many machines end up badly damaged, and their owners cannot repair them. UMKMs, as the chosen activity partner, are TIA MELATI. This selection is based on visits to Partner locations, and information is obtained that the Partner's production decline is due to the damaged TTG machines that are owned but need the ability to make improvements both in terms of knowledge and from a cost standpoint. This activity aims to assist UMKM players in East Luwu to increase production capacity and expand the reach of product marketing to increase production, which impacts the welfare of its members. The results are that TTG machines owned by partners can function again so that production increases, as well as increased knowledge and ability to maintain and repair TTG machines owned.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of attendance, permission, sickness, and discipline on students' Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA). Consistent attendance in class allows students to follow the subject matter and participate in discussions, potentially increasing GPA. Conversely, permits and illness can interfere with the learning process and negatively impact GPA. Discipline, such as tardiness or inappropriate behavior, can also negatively affect academic performance. This study used Pearson correlation analysis to measure the relationship between independent variables (attendance, permission, illness, discipline) and GPA, as well as linear regression analysis to identify the influence of each factor. Data on attendance, permits, sickness, and discipline were collected from the academic information system for six semesters at one vocational college. The results of the analysis showed that attendance had a strong negative correlation with GPA, while sickness, permitting, and indiscipline also showed a negative relationship with GPA. The linear regression model shows that all these parameters have a negative coefficient to GPA, with permission having the greatest negative influence. This research suggests the importance of policies that encourage consistent attendance and reduce permits and attention to student health and discipline to improve academic achievement.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) issued an Independent Learning policy in order to achieve quality education for all Indonesian people. Quality education focuses on developing basic competencies and character to ensure students progress in learning so that they are more competent and have character. One of the Independent Learning policies that have been launched is the Educational Report platform. The Educational Report Platform that was launched, is a platform that provides data on reports on the results of the evaluation of the education system as an improvement on previous quality report platform. This research is a descriptive qualitative study to examine how the newly launched Indonesian Educational Report platform can be utilized in data-based education planning so that the planning carried out can be more targeted and the quality of education can be improved. The results of the study have shown that the use of Educational Report in data-based planning is a tool and a way to identify root causes, reflect on educational achievements, and become a material for constructive discussions with various education stakeholders to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Neural networks represent a widely adopted paradigm within the domain of machine learning, employed for a multitude of classification endeavors, encompassing image recognition and natural language processing. This investigation seeks to elucidate the influence of varying neuron quantities in hidden layers on the efficacy of neural networks in both binary and multi-class classification endeavors. The research utilizes a dataset procured from images depicting characters and digits, which were transformed into binary format via a thresholding methodology. The neural network architectures comprise one and two hidden layers, which are trained employing the backpropagation algorithm in conjunction with the Adam optimizer. The evaluation of the models is conducted through metrics such as accuracy, loss curves, and confusion matrices. Findings reveal that the configuration featuring two hidden layers with 40 sampai 99 neurons achieves the pinnacle accuracy of 99.64 percent alongside optimal loss stability. Furthermore, models incorporating a single hidden layer exhibited commendable accuracy, thereby indicating that a reduced number of neurons can proficiently encapsulate data complexity in less demanding tasks. This research underscores the criticality of selecting suitable neural network configurations contingent upon data complexity and classification objectives, while advocating for further investigation into regularization strategies to enhance performance.

Abstract

Overhaul merupakan proses perbaikan secara besar dan pemulihan secara menyeluruh pada suatu mesin sehingga mesin tersebut dapat beroperasi secara normal kembali. Mesin Toyota kijang innova tipe 2KD-FTV merupakan mesin diesel yang digunakan sebagai media ajar Praktikum Mesin Otomotif Mahasiswa Politeknik Sorowako dan selama beberapa tahun tidak dapat berfungsi dengan baik, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk mengatasi kerusakan pada mesin ini. Untuk mempelajari studi ini ada dua metode yang digunakan, yaitu yang pertama adalah metode primer yang didapat dari praktek langsung dan observasi, sedangkan yang kedua adalah metode sekunder yaitu metode yang diambil dari data internal dan data external. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan overhaul sesuai prosedur yang meliputi pembongkaran mesin dan pengamatan fungsi dari setiap komponen yang terdapat pada mesin, memperbaiki dan mengganti komponen yang mengalami kerusakan, mengetahui cara kerja mesin dan merakit kembali mesin. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, perancangan, proses overhaul, assembling, waktu pengerjaan serta pengujian. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan penggantian komponen mesin, parameter-parameter seperti pemanasan awal, suara mesin, serta kepekatan asap pembakaran, menunjukkan kinerja yang optimal, sedangkan tekanan kompresi tiap silinder diperoleh rata-rata 310 PSI dan tekanan oli 39 PSI yangmana angka tersebut telah sesuai dengan standar mesin diesel tipe 2KD-FTV. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa overhaul yang dilakukan telah berhasil untuk mengembalikan performa mesin kenilai spesifikasi standar pabrik.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan kontribusi nyata dosen perguruan tinggi kepada masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan ini, dosen memecahkan berbagai masalah masyarakat dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka. Artikel ini membahas proyek revitalisasi pintu air di Desa Laskap, Karebbe, Kabupaten Luwu Timur oleh Tim PKM Akademi Teknik Soroako bekerja sama dengan PT Vale Indonesia. Proyek ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi pengairan sawah dan meminimalisir kebocoran air, yang menjadi kendala bagi petani setempat. Proyek dimulai dengan observasi awal untuk mendapatkan data valid bagi penyusunan rencana kegiatan, anggaran, dan waktu pelaksanaan. Persiapan alat dan bahan seperti pompa air, peralatan pengelasan, fabrikasi, serta material besi dan baja dilakukan sebelum pekerjaan dimulai. Pengerjaan mencakup pengeringan area pintu air, pembersihan, fabrikasi, penutupan lubang, pemasangan penyumbat atau seal, serta uji coba kebocoran. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan pintu air berfungsi tanpa kebocoran, meningkatkan efisiensi pengairan sawah. Tahap akhir proyek adalah penyerahan dan penandatanganan komitmen untuk menjaga dan memantau fasilitas yang diperbaiki. Proyek ini menunjukkan pentingnya kolaborasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah infrastruktur pedesaan dan diharapkan menjadi model bagi daerah lain. Dengan PKM, diharapkan kehidupan masyarakat meningkat secara signifikan melalui kontribusi dosen.

Abstract

PT. Huayue Nickel Cobalt (called hync) is a joint venture between Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd. And China Molybdenum Co., Ltd. As well as Tshingshan Stainless Steel in October 2018, the business range includes resource development, a nickel-cobalt metal extraction, and an integrated to completed product processing. The project adopts third-generation High Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) technology, one of the most sophisticated nickel processing technologies in the world. This technology enabled the maximum use of all the components of precious metals in the laterite nickel ore. This can thus extract nickel, cobalt, and manganese both simultaneously and integrated into the production of fresh energy batteries. HIRADC plays a crucial role in the K3 management system because it serves as a cornerstone of prevention and risk control efforts. Its application helps companies in determining effective safety and occupational strategies and strategies. PT Huayue Nickel Cobalt has its own problems with implementation, and there are several obstacles, such as a lack of employee awareness of safety procedures, a standard operational breach. This problem can affect company productivity and employee welfare, so further effort is needed to improve the works surveillance and safety training systems. The application of HIRADC assists in the creation of risk-control strategies for risk-control methods is proven to be effective in providing structured guidance for risk assessment, from danger identification, risk assessment, to appropriate control recommendations. This analysis can provide a basis for management decision making.
