Abstract

Kecamatan Timang Gajah adalah salah satu kecamatan yang menghasilkan produksi kentang hanya sebesar 72,50 Kwintal dengan luas lahan 5 Ha. Komoditas kentang yang dibudidayakan di Kecamatan Timang Gajah memiliki produktivitas rendah  yaitu  14,50  Kwintal/Ha.  Rendahnya  produksi  kentang  dipengaruhi  oleh faktor-faktor  produksi  seperti  bibit  kentang  yang  dipakai,  tenaga  kerja  yang digunakan,  jumlah  pupuk  yang  dipergunakan  dalam  proses  produksi  kentang. Tujuan  penelitian  yaitu  untuk  mengetahui  faktor-faktor  yang.  mempengaruhi produksi kentang di Kecamatan Timang Gajah Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Metode analisis  data  dengan  menggunakan  fungsi  produksi  Cobb-Douglass.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  produksi  kentang  di  Kecamatan  Timang  Gajah Kabupaten  Bener  Meriah  dipengaruhi  oleh  5  faktor  yaitu  luas  lahan  (x1),  tenaga kerja  (x2),  bibit  (x3),  pupuk  (x4),  dan  pestisida  (x5).  Berdasarkan  hasil  regresi diperoleh  bahwa  secara  serempak  faktor-faktor  produksi  yaitu  luas  lahan,  tenaga kerja, bibit, pupuk dan pestisida berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi kentang. Sedangkan  secara  parsial  luas  lahan,  bibit  dan  pestisida  berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap produksi kentang, sedangkan tenaga kerja dan pupuk tidak berpengaruh signifikan  terhadap  produksi  kentang  di  Kecamatan  Timang  Gajah  Kabupaten Bener Meriah.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Ara Cahayani Gayo Cooperative in Bandar District. Ara Cahayani Gayo Cooperative is a cooperative that has the largest number of members in Bandar District. Of the 2.753 members who joined Ara Cahayani Gayo, only 456 members came from Bandar district, while the rest mostly came from other districts. This shows that there are still few farmers in the District of Bandar who joined Ara Cahayani Gayo. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence farmers' decisions to partner with Ara Cahayani Gayo coffee cooperatives in Bandar District, Bener Meriah Regency. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative with binary logistic regression. Sampling using simple random sampling with a total of 46 partner farmers and 48 non-partner farmers. The results showed that of the 5 independent variables included in the model, there are 4 independent variables that have a significant effect on the decision of farmers partnering with Ara Cahayani Gayo, namely the land area with a significant value of 0.002, the number of family members with a significant value of 0.043, market assurance with a significant value of 0.001 and training with a significant value of 0.003. While 1 other variable, namely experience with a significant value of 0.124, has no significant effect on the decision of farmers to partner with the Ara Cahayani Gayo cooperative.Keywords: partnership, farmer decisions, coffee cooperative

Abstract

KWT Bungong Mane is an UMKM that produces products made from agricultural commodities, namely tempeh chips, potato sticks and purple cassava sticks. KWT Bungong Mane is located in Mane Tunong Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of the KWT Bungong Mane chips agroindustry in Mane Tunong Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency and analyze the level of profitability in the KWT Bungong Mane chips agroindustry in Mane Tunong Village, Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency. The method used in this research is feasibility and profitability analysis. The results of this research obtained an R/C ratio value of 1.43. A value of 1.43 > 1 indicates that the KWT Bungong Mane chips agroindustry is worthy of cultivation based on the R/C ratio criteria. A value of 1.43 can be interpreted as if every cost incurred by the business owner is Rp. 1, the business owner will receive income of Rp. 1.43. Then, based on the profitability calculation results, it can be seen that the margin of safety (MOS) value is 91.82% and the margin income ratio (MIR) value is 32.99%. From the calculation of the MOS and MIR values, the profitability of the KWT Bungong Mane chips agroindustry is obtained at 30.29% or the equivalent of IDR 2,480,751/month, this shows that the increase in prices of the main raw materials that occurred in the KWT Bungong Mane chips agroindustry is still safe. and has good prospects for business and development because it is able to generate profits. Keywords:  feasibility, margin of safety, margin income ratio, protability

Abstract

The presence of mobile rice milling machine really helps the society in grinding their grains. However, the income earned on the mobile rice milling business is erratic, often many times slightly. This research aims to find out the income earned and the obstacles in the mobile rice milling business of Mr. Saiful Mahdi in Meunasah Baro Village, Muara Batu Sub-district, Aceh Utara Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis methods to look at the income that is received, and descriptive qualitative to see business constraints. The results showed that the total cost is IDR 127,785,000/year, gross revenue is IDR 768,055,500/year, and net income is IDR 307,392,750/year. The value of R/C Ratio amounted to 6.01 and B/C Ratio are 2.41 shows that Mr. Saiful Mahdi's mobile rice milling business deserves to be kept. Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Bungong Seulanga selaku mitra sudah menghasilkan emping jagung sejak tahun 2018 namun sampai sekarang belum dikelola secara profesional. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil observasi dan wawancara bahwa pelaku agroindustri belum mengerti tentang analisis usaha dan juga tidak memahami tentang legalisasi usaha. Melalui Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tim pengabdi bertujuan untuk: (1) Memberikan pelatihan tentang analisis usaha yang terdiri dari analisis biaya produksi, penerimaan, keuntungan, tingkat kelayakan usaha (R/C ratio), dan harga pokok penjualan (HPP) yang menguntungkan agroindustri. (2) Memberikan penyuluhan tentang legalisasi usaha berupa izin usaha, izin dinkes, dan sertifikasi halal. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan materi dan contoh kasus kemudian diikuti dengan praktek langsung dari para pelaku agroindustri. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan materi terkait dengan legalitas usaha  serta  membagikan  modul  atau  brosur  yang  berkaitan  dengan  proses legalisasi usaha. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah mitra bisa melakukan analisis usaha secara sederhana dan mengerti tentang tata cara pengurusan izin usaha mikro, izin P-IRT dan sertifikasi halal. Proses pemberdayaan berlangsung dengan baik berkat dukungan dari semua pihak.

Abstract

Pestisida adalah substansi kimia dan bahan lain yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan berbagai hama. Bagi petani jenis hama yaitu tungau, tumbuhan pengganggu, penyakit tanaman yang disebabkan oleh fungi (jamur), bakteria, dan virus, nematoda (cacing yang merusak akar), siput, tikus, burung dan hewan lain yang dianggap merugikan. Pengendalian secara kimiawi menggunakan pestisida kimia merupakan salah satu teknik pengendalian OPT yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh petani di desa Paya Gaboh. Paya Gaboh merupakan salah satu gampong yang ada di kecamatan Sawang, Kabupaten Aceh Utara, provinsi Aceh, Indonesia. Petani di desa ini cenderung melakukan budidaya tanaman sawah dan hortikultura (sayuran). Dalam aktivitas budidaya nya, petani sering kali mengalami kegagalan panen karena adanya serangan hama dan penyakit tanaman. Solusi yang tepat adalah dengan pembuatan pestisida organik yang terbuat dari bahan nabati dan hewani. Lokasi pengabdian masyarakat diambil pada daerah Kabupaten Aceh Utara mengingat lokasi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Malikussaleh yang terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Utara, maka diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi langsung terhadap masyarakat. Jenis Luaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah: (1) laporan pengabdian dengan status submitted, (2) jurnal pengabdian internasional published artikel di media massa cetak/online dengan status published, (3) video kegiatan dengan status uploaded, (4) HKI dengan status granted, (5) peningkatan skill mitra dengan status completed, (6) produk olahan kopi dengan status completed.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan kegagalan seorang anak untuk tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal disebabkan dampak dari kekurangan gizi secara kumulatif dan terus menerus. Gampong Keutapang  adalah  gampong ini berada pada wilayah rawan gizi antara  gampong lokus stunting harus segera dicegah supaya tidak mengalami kekurangan gizi. Lahan pekarangan memiliki peran sangat kompleks jika dimanfaatkan  secara optimal yaitu selain meningkatakan produksi juga sebagai keindahan penataan budidaya sayuran. Inovasi budidaya sayuran organik di perkarangan  merupakan  salah satu solusi yang  mencukupi kebutuhan gizi keluarga. Kegiatan  budidaya sayuran organik bertujuan mensosialisasikan dan pelatihan budidaya sayuran untuk  memperbaiki gizi keluarga. Metode yang dilaksanakan terbagi tiga tahapan yaitu memperkenalkan inovasi budidaya sayuran organik, sosialisasi konsumsi sayuran organik, dan menyediakan sarana produksi serta melaksanakan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk cair organik. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan  untuk memperkenalkan inovasi budidaya sayuran organic, keunggulan sayuran organic, dan penyediaan sarana produksi dalam budidaya sayuran organik. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu memperkenalkan inovasi budidaya sayuran organik, sosialisasi keunggulan pemanfaatan pekarangan, dan menyediakan sarana produksi serta melaksanakan pelatihan budidaya sayuran organik. Hasil yang dirasakan adalah  terjadi perubahan tambahan  pengetahuan dan pengalaman peserta pengabdian tentang   inovasi pertanian sebagai suatu solusi mengatasi keterbatasan lahan dengan cara budidaya sayuran organik. Pemanfaatan lahan perkarangan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi pangan sehari – hari yang bebas dari bahan kimia sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan gizi keluarga.

Abstract

Lowland rice farmers in North Aceh Regency do not yet have a good level of ability in developing rice agribusiness. Ability is one element of empowerment. Low ability shows low empowerment. Empowered farmers mean having adequate knowledge, attitudes and skills so they are able to manage their farming business well. The research aims to determine the level of empowerment of rice farmers based on socio-economic characteristics. This research uses primary data derived from interviews with lowland rice farmers. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods.  The results of the analysis show that there are differences in levels of empowerment when viewed based on age, income and land area. Meanwhile, in terms of education, experience, number of dependents and source of income, it is generally known that all farmers are in the same category, namely empowered.

Abstract

Farmers Group Bungong Seulanga is the only producer of corn chips in North Aceh Regency. Since 2018, the agroindustry has not experienced development. This study aims to determine how the constraints, production costs, revenues, profits, business feasibility level, and cost of goods sold. The data used are primary and analysed used descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the business experienced obstacles related to production techniques, quality of chips, production stock, marketing, packaging, management and business legalization. Agroindustry produces chips as much as 25 kg / month with production costs other than labor wages of Rp. 348,250, -. Agro-industry revenue of Rp. 1,250,000, - and a profit of IDR 901,750. If the labor wage is calculated, the business will suffer losses and it is not feasible because the total cost reaches Rp. 1,948,250. The HPP which benefits the corn chips agroindustry is currently above Rp. 77,930 / kilogram.

Abstract

Soy milk is one of the processing products which is the result of soybean extraction. Soy milk has a balanced combination of nutrients, which is almost similar to cow's milk but is free of gluten, cholesterol and lactose. The soy milk in Sidodadi Village consists of 2 types of soy milk businesses, namely Cita Rasa soy milk and Halalan Toyyiban soy milk which have different qualities and tastes. The population in this study was consumers of Cita Rasa and Halalan Toyyiban soy milk, the respondents in this study were 60 respondents. This research aims to determine consumer preferences regarding the combination of soy milk product attribute levels and the level of importance of soy milk product attributes in purchasing decisions for soy milk in Sidodadi Village, Vocational Youth District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method using conjoint analysis. The attributes that consumers consider are brand, flavor variants and texture. The results of this research show that the combination of soy milk attribute levels is consumer preference based on utility value, namely soy milk with the Halalan Toyyiban brand (0.008), original taste (0.328), thick texture (0.02). The attributes most considered when purchasing soy milk products based on relative importance (NPR) are first the attributes of taste (72,982), brand (14,446), and texture (12,571).
