Abstract

Write Line Inner Sheating at PT. KMI Wire and Cable has idle time due to processing time on Unbalanced work stations sometimes cause stop lines. Fromcalculations it is known that the cycle time gap / cycle time obtained is as big as 109.2 seconds and the figure is taken based on the biggest time from 6 stations existing work. The author intends to examine the causes of its occurrence processing time delays that occur on the Inner Sheating line and deliver give suggestions for future improvements. This research uses line balancing method and production system layouts. Among them is looking for the cycle time at the 6 largest stations as a reference in determining the next calculation, calculating the company's capacity, determining the efficiency of the machine, calculating the number of machines, adding the number of machines and additional floor area. Data is taken from field observations and records. The author uses two methods, namely the line balancing method and the system method production layout. he line balancing method and production layout system that has been carried out can be causing it to be able to meet market demand of 17,688 coils / month with the addition of machines / work stations, the required floor area is 14 m² with details, 7 m² at the Inner Sheat workstation and 7m² at the Outer Sheat station.

Abstract

BSR-10 type biofuel pellet forming machine is widely used in renewable energy industry to produce high quality biofuel pellets. However, prolonged operation and heavy loads on these engines can cause their temperature to rise excessively and potentially damage the electric motors. To overcome this problem, this study aims to investigate the effect of using a Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) as a protection against overheating in a BSR-10 type biofuel pellet forming machine. This research involves measuring temperature and engine performance when operated with and without TOR. Motor temperature and engine ambient temperature are observed and recorded during normal operation and heavy load situations. In addition, engine performance in terms of rotational speed, energy consumption and pellet production were also evaluated with and without TOR. The results showed that the use of TOR significantly reduced the motor temperature in the BSR-10 type biofuel pellet forming machine. When given a heavy load, the engine that is protected by TOR shows a more stable and controlled temperature compared to the engine without TOR. In addition, TOR-equipped machines also show improvements in overall performance, including more stable rotational speeds, more efficient energy consumption and consistent pellet production. In conclusion, the use of Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) as protection against overheating in the BSR-10 type biofuel pellet forming machine is effective in controlling motor temperature, improving engine performance, and preventing damage caused by excess temperature. This research provides a better understanding of the use of TOR in the context of biofuel pelletizing machines and can provide useful guidance to the renewable energy industry in improving the operational efficiency and reliability of their machines..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem question answering generatif berbasis Large Language Model guna meningkatkan efisiensi layanan informasi akademik di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah experimental development dengan tahapan pengumpulan dataset domain spesifik UNSIKA, preprocessing, fine-tuning model DistilGPT-2, evaluasi performa, serta implementasi dalam bentuk prototipe chatbot berbasis web. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 800 pasangan pertanyaan dan jawaban yang merepresentasikan kebutuhan informasi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki performa yang stabil dengan nilai training loss sebesar 1.23, validation loss sebesar 1.31, dan perplexity sebesar 3.41 yang mengindikasikan kemampuan generasi teks yang baik. Evaluasi kualitatif menunjukkan tingkat relevansi jawaban sebesar 92%, keterbacaan bahasa sebesar 90%, dan ketepatan fakta sebesar 89%. Waktu pelatihan model tercatat ±1 jam 25 menit dengan total parameter sekitar 82 juta, yang menunjukkan efisiensi komputasi yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan fine-tuning model bahasa berbasis domain lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan informasi akademik. Sistem yang dikembangkan mampu memberikan respons yang relevan, akurat, dan mudah dipahami, sehingga berpotensi menjadi solusi dalam mendukung transformasi digital layanan akademik di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Traditional hydroponic systems largely rely on manual observation and regulation of essential environmental variables, such as pH, nutrient concentration, temperature, and humidity. This dependence often causes inefficiency, inconsistent crop quality, and greater labor requirements. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes an IoT-based Smart Hydroponic System that integrates fuzzy logic control with computer vision using the SSD MobileNet architecture. The objective of this research is to design and implement an intelligent automation framework capable of improving hydroponic cultivation through continuous data monitoring, analytical decision-making, and autonomous environmental adjustment. Within this framework, fuzzy logic dynamically stabilizes nutrient and pH levels, while the SSD MobileNet model analyzes plant images to classify growth stages and determine harvest readiness. Experimental testing produced an average classification loss of 0.1283, demonstrating reliable detection accuracy. Compared with conventional methods, the proposed integration enhances adaptability, precision, and computational efficiency for edge-level IoT applications. This system introduces a novel and scalable approach to precision agriculture, enabling more effective automation and decision making in hydroponic farming. Future studies are encouraged to expand their implementation to various plant species and adaptive learning models for broader applicability.

Abstract

Kebakaran bangunan merupakan bencana yang sering terjadi dan menyebabkan kerugian material maupun korban jiwa. Sistem deteksi kebakaran konvensional masih memiliki keterbatasan, yaitu hanya mengandalkan sensor asap atau suhu tanpa validasi visual dan mekanisme penanganan otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem deteksi kebakaran berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dan kecerdasan buatan yang mampu bekerja secara real-time dan terintegrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan rekayasa sistem. Sistem dirancang menggunakan sensor MQ-2 untuk mendeteksi gas atau asap, sensor BME280 untuk suhu, kamera CCTV, serta mikrokontroler ESP32. Deteksi manusia dilakukan menggunakan model YOLOv8n yang dilatih dengan total 6.277 citra. Data ditampilkan pada web dashboard, disimpan ke database PostgreSQL, dilengkapi notifikasi telegram, serta fitur laporan PDF. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sensor MQ-2 dan BME280 mampu mendeteksi kondisi bahaya dengan nilai gas 671 ppm dan suhu 79,50°C. Model YOLOv8n menghasilkan akurasi 84%, presisi 90%, recall 93%, dan F1-score 91% dalam mendeteksi manusia. Web dashboard menampilkan data real-time, history kejadian, dan unduh laporan. Notifikasi telegram berhasil terkirim otomatis saat kondisi bahaya dengan terdeteksinya manusia. Database menyimpan seluruh data kejadian secara terstruktur. Kesimpulannya, sistem yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan kecepatan deteksi dan akurasi informasi kebakaran, serta memberikan respons adaptif melalui integrasi sensor, kecerdasan buatan, notifikasi, dan pelaporan otomatis. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan tidak hanya pada lingkungan rumah, tetapi juga gedung bertingkat maupun perkantoran.

Abstract

The rapid era of technological development has had a major impact on the world of education. At least the challenges faced by the education sector are related to the use of Chat GPT artificial intelligence in the science learning process. Through science education, students can engage in the impact of science in everyday life and the role of students in society. The provision of quality science education will have an impact on the development achievements of a country. for this reason, research was carried out. The purpose of the research is to explain ChatGPT for the Future of Science Learning. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines We must know and practice changes in education and learning patterns at all levels of education by describing the characteristics of learning that are currently needed. The results of this research show that in science learning there are several main domains on which the learning objectives using the science approach pattern are based on the advantages of this approach. GPT chat can be used to get answers to various problems and questions, providing precise and fast responses. GPT chat plays an important role in shaping the science learning system of the future. Many benefits have been found from GPT chat in science learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an advanced safe security system by combining Facelook and Fingerprint technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT). These technologies are expected to provide a higher level of security and facilitate access for safe owners. Subsequently, testing is carried out on the safe's opening mechanism after successful authentication via both the fingerprint sensor and the face recognition system. These trials encompass the evaluation of success rates, the speed of the opening mechanism, and the overall response time. Data from the testing phase is collected and analyzed to comprehensively assess the system's performance. The average notification delivery delay for the face recognition system was measured at 2.67 seconds with a standard deviation of 0.37. The notification delivery data revealed an average delay of 2.04 seconds with a standard deviation of 0.38 These findings collectively affirm the effectiveness of the integrated face recognition and fingerprint system in the proposed safe security setup

Abstract

USO (Universal Service Obligation) merupakan bagian dari kewajiban Pemerintah dalam memberikan pelayanan universal di bidang telekomunikasi dan informatika kepada publik.Kewajiban pelayanan tersebut dilakukan untuk mengurangi kesenjangan komunikasi akses dan digital di daerah khususnya daerah pedesaan, tertinggal, dan terluar serta terdepan, yang secara ekonomi sulit dilakukan oleh penyelenggara telekomunikasi komersial. Program Layanan USO selama ini diawali dengan layanan dasar (voice) hingga layanan data (internet).Hingga saat ini, berdasarkan hasil monitoring evaluasi perkembangan layanan USO, dari sisi anggaran, realisasi rata-rata per tahun sampai dengan 2014 adalah 41%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan belum efektifnya pelayanan USO. Esensi utama rancang ulang adalah tetap melanjutkan program eksisting namun merubah mekanismenya, yaitu tidak lagi bersifat “top down” dari pusat ke daerah tetapi dari daerah ke pusat yang juga disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan daerah, Pemerintah menyiapkan rancangan utama (Grand Design) Program USO dengan asumsi bahwa UU No.36 Tahun 1999 diganti dengan UU Telekomunikasi yang baru atau UU Konvergensi. Potensi yang mungkin dilakukan lewat perangkat PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk yang mampu menjadi motor pengerak melanjutkan USO dengan mengembangkan kembali FWA-CDMA yang pernah jaya hingga tahun 2015. FWA-CDMA mampu menjawab kebutuhan USO di daerah tertinggal, terluar dan terdepan Negara Indonesia ini karena PT Telkom memiliki infrastruktur telekomunikasi di setiap kecamatan di daerah-daerah tertinggal dan terluar serta terdepan itu. FWA-CDMA dapat di hubungkan langsung ke stasiun sentral telepon terdekat dan base station atau radio pemancarnya dapat dipasang di daerah tersebut dengan memakai pembatasan kode area telepon setempat tapi dapat bergerak dilingkungan daerah itu. Abstract

Perkembangan antena dimasa depan akan mengarah smart antena, dimana antena mampu menentukan beam mana yang paling kuat. Antena yang bekerja Multiband dan Multibeam menjadi sebuah hal yang mungkin dilakukan untuk perkembangan smart antena. Beam antena dapat berubah karena perubahan fasa, dan dapat diperoleh menggunakan butler matrik. Salahsatu kelemahan antena multiband adalah gainnya yang rendah, untuk meningkatkan gain dapat dilakukan dengan meng-array antena tersebut. Multiband dan multibeamsmartantena dapat diperoleh menggunakan phase array dengan penggunaan butler matiks sebagai perubah phase dan penggunaan antena multiband yang diarray. The development of the antenna leads to smart antenna, where the antenna is able to determine which beam is the strongest. Antennas that work Multiband and Multibeam are possible for the development of smart antennas. The antenna beams can change due to phase changes, and can be obtained using the butler matrix. One of the disadvantages of a multibans antenna is the low gain, therefore arraying the antenna can be used to increase the gain. Multiband and multibeam can be obtained using phase array with the use of the matler butler as a phase change and the use of an arrayed multiband antenna.

Abstract

Keselamatan merupakan hal yang utama dalam dunia penerbangan, sehingga setiap instrumen penerbangan harus dipastikan dapat bekerja dengan baik. ATIS (Automatic Terminal Information Service) adalah alat yang digunakan untuk memberi informasi seperti cuaca, landasan pacu aktif, dan informasi lainnya yang dibutuhkan oleh pilot ketika melakukan lepas landas atau mendaratkan pesawat terbang. Informasi tersebut disiarkan dan ditransmisikan setiap saat untuk mengurangi kesibukan komunikasi di radio penerbangan. Oleh sebab itu, ATIS merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam penerbangan. Kinerja ATIS harus selalu diperhatikan dan dilakukan pemeliharaan yang baik, sehingga dapat menghindari terjadinya gangguan aktvitas penerbangan dan tetap terjaganya keselamatan penumpang serta awak pesawat. Penelitian ini menyajikan kestabilan data ATIS dengan tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 99,9%.
