Abstract

This research aims to explore student recruitment strategies based on the quality of Islamic educational services and their implications. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data was analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, with service quality strategies analyzed through five ServQual dimensions that were reconceptualized within an Islamic values framework, measured using core service indicators whose results were then contextualized for their ethical accountability with Islamic values. Research findings indicate that incorporating Islamic values into ServQual dimensions produces progressive and comprehensive service strategy formulations. This approach successfully constructs a holistic educational ecosystem that is adaptive to students' academic, spiritual, and emotional needs. This research also presents recommendations for a comprehensive approach in measuring Islamic values-based educational service quality mechanisms. Strategic implications of this implementation include improvements in both academic and non-academic student achievement, an inclusive learning environment, strengthened institutional reputation, increased stakeholder satisfaction, and consistent increases in the number of applicants.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using the Fun Card learning media on students' learning interest in the Qur’an-Hadits subject at MTs Tahfidzul Qur’an Al-Fatah, Sambi Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of the study arises from the low learning interest of students in Qur’an-Hadits lessons, which are often delivered monotonously and lack engagement. Therefore, an engaging and motivational learning media is needed to involve students actively. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory method. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 75 student respondents. Validity and reliability tests were conducted using SPSS, followed by t-tests and the coefficient of determination analysis. The results indicated that the use of Fun Card media has a significant effect on students' learning interest, with a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05). The coefficient of determination was 66.6%, meaning that over half of the variance in students' learning interest can be explained by the use of Fun Card media. The implication of this study is that teachers should adopt innovative and engaging learning media to improve the effectiveness of Islamic education, particularly in Qur’an-Hadits instruction. Fun Card media can serve as a strategic alternative to create an active, participatory, and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Learning is an active interaction process between individuals and their environment that can lead to positive behavioral changes. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of using the Pijar Sekolah application as a learning medium on the effectiveness of Sociology learning at Al-Istiqamah Senior High School, West Pasaman Regency. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from school documents. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 40 students from grade X, phases E1 to E8. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25, preceded by descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results showed that the use of the Pijar Sekolah application had a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 3.082, indicating that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The novelty of this research lies in the application of Pijar Sekolah as a digital learning medium in Sociology subjects at the senior high school level, which remains underexplored in previous empirical studies, particularly in the West Pasaman region.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital era demands rapid adaptation from teachers, both in pedagogical practices and professional performance. In this context, transformational leadership and organizational culture play a vital role in enhancing teacher performance. This article aims to analyze the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational culture in improving teacher performance within digital-based educational environments. Using a literature review approach, this study synthesizes findings from relevant research published over the past five years. The analysis reveals that transformational leadership contributes to fostering work motivation, individual development, and teachers’ readiness to embrace technological change. Concurrently, an inclusive and innovative organizational culture strengthens collaborative spirit and workplace stability. Furthermore, the study finds a synergistic relationship between transformational leadership and organizational culture that collectively supports improved teacher performance. These findings suggest that enhancing the quality of digital education requires an integrated strategy that aligns leadership practices with the development of an adaptive organizational culture. The study recommends systematic implementation of transformational leadership and reinforcement of adaptive organizational values in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of guidance and counseling (GC) services as part of Islamic educational supervision at SMK Syubbanul Wathon. Supervision in Islamic education encompasses not only academic and administrative aspects but also moral and spiritual development of students. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis involving guidance counselors, school principals, and subject teachers. The findings reveal that GC services are well integrated into the school's supervision program, emphasizing Islamic approaches in guiding students through personal, social, and academic challenges. Guidance counselors play a strategic role in shaping student character based on Islamic and humanistic values. The school principal is also actively involved in supervising and supporting the implementation of GC services to create a religious and conducive school environment. This study shows that the integration of GC into Islamic educational supervision has a positive impact on students' character development and the overall learning climate. The novelty of this research lies in the systematic integration of guidance and counseling services within Islamic educational supervision at the vocational school level.

Abstract

In the context of education, needs assessment serves as a basis for developing relevant and priority development plans. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of data-driven needs assessment in the development planning process of SMAN 1 Sampanahan. Effective educational planning should begin with an accurate assessment of needs to ensure that school policies and programs align with the actual conditions of the educational unit. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that SMAN 1 Sampanahan has utilized various assessment tools such as internal surveys, academic performance data, and program evaluation results to identify priority needs. The assessment process involves school principals, teachers, and the school committee as key stakeholders. However, challenges remain in data integration and consistency of need reporting across departments. These findings highlight the importance of data literacy capacity to support needs-based planning at the school level. This study recommends strengthening digital-based assessment systems and providing data-driven decision-making training for educators and school personnel.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has brought complex challenges for teachers, including increased workloads, emotional exhaustion, and demands for technological adaptation that impact their well-being. This study aims to analyze the potential of a mindfulness-based supervision model integrated with digital platforms to enhance teachers' well-being. Through a systematic literature review (2014–2024), it was found that mindfulness approaches such as meditation, self-reflection, and emotional regulation can reduce stress and improve teachers' mental resilience. The integration of technology through mobile applications, interactive webinars, and predictive analytics expands the accessibility and personalization of supervision programs. However, its implementation faces challenges such as the digital divide and resistance to change. The results of the study indicate that a hybrid (synchronous-asynchronous) model with empathetic supervisor guidance is an effective solution for creating a sustainable and humane supervision environment. This research recommends the development of an adaptive supervision framework that combines mindfulness principles with digital innovation, as well as the need for technology literacy training for teachers and supervisors. These findings contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of educational policies in the digital age.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the digital era demands that teachers integrate technology into the learning process. This challenge not only requires technical skills but also a high level of work motivation. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of the principal’s transformational leadership in enhancing teacher work motivation at SDN Rancaekek 05 in the digital era. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Informants included the principal, teachers, and other educational staff. The findings reveal that the principal acts as a transformational leader through four key dimensions: setting an example and providing positive influence, delivering an inspiring vision, encouraging innovation in facing digital challenges, and attending to the individual needs and potential of teachers. Strategies implemented include technology training, teacher rewards, and open, participatory communication. This study highlights how transformational leadership can practically foster an adaptive work culture and enhance teachers’ professional motivation amid the challenges of the digital age, particularly in public elementary schools operating with limited resources.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzes Learning Transformation Management at Sekolah Alam Depok, focusing on the integration of digital media and field practices. The background highlights the need for learning innovations that combine technological advances with nature-based approaches, while respecting the school's limitations on gadget use by students. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed, involving observations and interviews with teachers and students. The results indicate that Learning Transformation Management at Sekolah Alam Depok successfully integrates digital media with field practices, enhancing student motivation and engagement. Students showed greater enthusiasm in learning activities that combined technology and outdoor practices. The use of digital media, such as educational videos and interactive presentations, clarified the understanding of concepts taught, even without personal devices. This integration made learning more contextual, engaging, and meaningful the novelty of this research lies in an effective learning management model that combines non-device digital media with outdoor learning practices, creating an innovative and adaptive learning environment suitable for nature-based schools in the digital age. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other schools in developing relevant learning strategies.

Abstract

The implementation of career guidance can steer students' career planning. Career planning among grade XII high school students is not yet mature. This study aims to analyze the implementation of career guidance in developing career planning for high school students at SMA Ma’arif Bandung. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Findings indicate that the program effectively enhances students’ understanding of their potential, career opportunities, and decision-making skills. Prior to guidance, 70-85% of students were confused and lacked knowledge about the world of work, but post-guidance, 80-90% could formulate clear career goals and concrete steps, with an average improvement of 50-60% in goal clarity, knowledge, and confidence. Supporting factors include principal support and external collaborations, while challenges encompass limited time, resources, and parental pressure. Recommendations include increasing session frequency, counselor training, and technology utilization. This study underscores the importance of structured career guidance in preparing students for post-high school transitions.
