To enhance students' critical thinking abilities, it is essential to adopt an interactive learning model where students actively participate, and the instructor acts as a facilitator. This can be achieved through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in the teaching and learning process. This study aimed to evaluate the improvement of learning outcomes and critical thinking skills through the application of the PBL model among students. Conducted as classroom action research, it involved 40 students from Yogyakarta State University. The research comprised two cycles, each consisting of two sessions. Instruments used included observation sheets for learning implementation, critical thinking assessment sheets, and tests. Data analysis was performed quantitatively using descriptive analysis methods. The findings revealed that (1) the learning process was effectively implemented, with observation data from both cycles rated as good, with a mode of 4 (good); (2) students' learning outcomes improved, with the average post-test scores increasing from 70.85 in Cycle 1 to 80.63 in Cycle 2; (3) students' critical thinking skills also enhanced, with the average score rising from 68.54 in Cycle 1 to 82.08 in Cycle 2. The conclusion of this study is that implementing PBL in the learning process can significantly enhance both critical thinking and learning outcomes. Ethnomathematics plays a very important role in life, especially in mathematics learning. Even so, ethnomathematics is still rarely known to the public. As a result, ethnomathematics research is still rarely carried out. So, ethnomathematics is a good topic to discuss in research. But before that, do an analysis first. So, researchers conducted analytical ethnomathematics research using bibliometrics to explore publication characteristics, find trends, and find future research directions in the field of ethnomathematics. The data used is sourced from the Scopus database. The science mapping steps taken are study design, data collection, data analysis, data visualization, and interpretation. From the analysis, 580 documents were obtained that had been published from 1984 to 2023 with the core of the study being learners, mathematical concepts, learning mathematics and physics. Based on this information, it is clear that ethnomathematics still needs to be explored more deeply, considering that most documents are not articles. As for the characteristics of ethnomathematics research, apart from the lack of material in the form of articles, it turns out that ethnomathematics, which is currently developing, is a learning system in mathematics. Even ethnomathematics can improve high-order thinking skills (HOTS). Apart from that, research on teaching, design, and thinking processes in ethnomathematics is still small but very important. Based on this information, the most suitable novelty for future ethnomathematics research is research on the design of ethnomathematics-based mathematics learning models.

The development of AI technology has opened new opportunities for the delivery and reception of education. Therefore, a profound understanding related to students' perspectives, expectations, and concerns regarding the utilization of AI in the learning process becomes a crucial aspect. This study explores the perceptions of university students in Indonesia towards the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. A quantitative descriptive survey was conducted involving 200 students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Bengkulu University. The instrument used is a student perception scale about AI adapted from Buabbas et al. (2023). Data analysis used descriptive analysis and Chi-Square test. The findings indicate that most students have a positive view of the use of AI in learning, seeing it as a tool that can enrich their learning experience and increase access to educational resources. However, concerns were also raised about the replacement of teachers' roles by AI, the loss of human elements in learning interactions, and data privacy issues. The study concludes that while AI has great potential to transform education, a careful, human-centered approach that involves the active role of teachers and safeguards students' privacy and data security is necessary. Further research is recommended to provide more comprehensive information about the impacts and benefits of the emergence of AI in education.

This study examines the inheritance of peace values based on indigenous knowledge in the community in Langsa after the Aceh conflict. Conflict causes damage to tolerance, respect for all forms of difference, and social capital due to disruption of the inheritance of values. If these problems are not addressed immediately, there is a risk of creating new patterns of conflict in the future. This study was conducted with a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis, while the data processing steps are data reduction, data display, and conclusions and data verification. This study found that indigenous knowledge framed in Islamic law was effective in transmitting the values of peace in post-conflict Aceh. The inheritance of the value of peace by using local resources can lead the community to values that maintain unity and tolerance. Utilizing local resources in passing on the value of post-conflict peace can maintain a peaceful situation and early detection of social conflicts.

Mathematical connection ability is needed because it relates to students' problem-solving abilities. This research was conducted to determine the ability of junior high school students' mathematical connections based on the region in the comparative material. This study uses the Manova test, which begins with quantitative research and continues with qualitative research. A sample of 251 students was taken using a cluster random sampling technique in one of the provinces in Indonesia with the most immigrants aiming to pursue education at various levels. The test instrument in this study was used to measure the ability of mathematical connections between mathematical ideas, mathematical connections with everyday life, and mathematical connections with other disciplines. The results of the Manova test show that the school environment affects students' mathematical connection abilities. In different areas, students have their own advantages in each mathematical connection indicator. So, it is suggested that schools pay attention to the learning methods used to suit students to improve students' mathematical connection abilities.
