Abstract

Thin film characteristics are the properties possessed by the thin film, both physical and chemical properties. The characteristics of this thin film are influenced by several factors, namely the material that makes up the thin film, the thin film deposition method, and the conditions of the thin film deposition process. This research aims to identify and analyze research trends in the characteristics of thin films as electronic devices. This research method is descriptive and analytical. The data used in this research was obtained from documents indexed by Google Scholar from 2015-2024 using Publish or Perish and Dimension.ai. Research procedures use PRISMA guidelines. The data identified and analyzed are the type of publication, publication source, and the title of research on thin film synthesis that is widely cited. The data analysis method uses bibliometric analysis assisted by VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis show that the trend of research on the characteristics of thin films as electronic devices indexed by Google Scholar from 2015 to 2024 experienced a fluctuating increase, however, in 2023 there was a decline in the trend of research on the characteristics of thin films as electronic devices. There are many documents in the form of articles, proceedings, book chapters, preprints, and edited books that discuss research into the characteristics of thin films as electronic devices. Key words that are often used in research on the characteristics of thin films as electronic devices are thin film coating, heat transfer characteristic, film characteristic, and photovoltaic characteristic.

Abstract

The community in Bakubakulu Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, is one of the communities that is developing an agroforestry system. This research aims to determine the agroforestry patterns used on community land in Bakubakulu Village. This research was carried out for 3 months, from October to December 2022. Respondents were taken in this research using the Purposive Sampling technique, namely deliberate (not random) sampling of respondents according to the criteria. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods. Respondents' research results on agroforestry patterns according to the time dimension are Intermittent on sloping land and Coincident on flat land. According to the spatial aspect, the pattern respondents use is Regular Temporary on flat land and Random Permanent on sloping land. The types of plants most commonly planted by the community are candlenuts, sugar palms, cocoa, cloves, and coconuts. The Regular Temporary Pattern is the pattern most frequently applied by respondents

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of creative thinking skills in marine ecology in developing bioentrepreneurship towards sustainable development in prospective biology teacher students. The material in this research is plankton, especially the cultivation of Spirulina sp in the laboratory. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a one-group pretest posttest design. The research sample consisted of 27 students who took a marine ecology course in semester 5 at Central Kalimantan University. The test instruments were multiple choice (PG) reasoned and plankton material description test questions. The research results show that each indicator of creative thinking skills, namely flexibility, originality, and elaboration, is significantly different (p = 0.000). The research results show that plankton material towards sustainable development can improve creative thinking skills in prospective biology teacher students. The contribution of this research can have implications for sustainable development goals point 4, namely quality education, and point 14, namely life underwater.

Abstract

This study aims to identify students' misconceptions on the material of Kinetic Gas Theory in physics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive research. The subjects of this research were 20 students of class XI. The data was collected by means of a diagnostic test technique equipped with CRI (Certainty of Response Index) and free-guided interviews. The results of data analysis show that the average Lucky Guess level is 13%, concept understanding is 39%, not understanding concept is 20%, and average percentage of misconceptions are 28%. Based on the identification results, the highest misconceptions in students appear in the indicator of the question of calculating the ideal gas equation by 55%. The results of the analysis and interviews that have been carried out, misconceptions occur due to the students themselves because they do not understand the concept as a whole and the lack of interest of students to repeat the lesson.

Abstract

Medicinal plants are considered a rich source of bioactive metabolites and have the potential for the discovery and development of new drugs, one of which is the purple leaf plant which is known to treat various diseases. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of administering purple leaf ethanol extract over a certain period of time at doses of 500 mg/kgBB, 2.000 mg/kgBB and 5.000 mg/kgBB on the histopathology of the Wistar rat pancreas. In this study, an experimental method was used with a randomized block design, using 20 male Wistar rats which were divided into 4 research groups, 1 control group which was given Na-CMC. and 3 treatment groups were given purple leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 500 mg/kgBB (P1), dose of 2.000 mg/kgBB (P2) and  dose of 5.000 mg/kgBB (P3). The test preparation was administered orally, for 28 days. The results of subchronic toxicity testing of purple leaf ethanol extract on Wistar rats carried out for 28 days, up to a dose of 5.000 mg/kg BB, showed that at a dose of 2.000 mg/kg BB – 5.000 mg/kg BB it was toxic to the histopathology of the Wistar rats pancreas, which was characterized by the presence of cell degeneration, increased organ index and the presence of symptoms of toxicity

Abstract

This study aims to review the literature related to the influence of living in highlands and lowlands on cardiovascular ability. Highlands, with an altitude of more than 2,500 meters above sea level, have unique environmental characteristics such as lower oxygen levels, lower air pressure, and cooler temperatures. In contrast, lowlands typically have more stable conditions and higher oxygen levels. These environmental differences are believed to have a significant impact on an individual's cardiovascular ability. In this literature review, we evaluated various studies comparing cardiovascular parameters such as aerobic capacity, VO2 max, resting heart rate, and other physiological adaptations between populations living in highlands and lowlands. The results of various studies show that individuals living at high altitudes tend to have better physiological adaptations in terms of oxygen use efficiency and higher aerobic capacity. This is due to the body's adaptation to chronic hypoxia, which increases red blood cell production and oxygen transport efficiency. However, there are also some higher cardiovascular challenges at high altitudes, such as an increased risk of pulmonary hypertension and heart disease. In contrast, low-lying populations generally show more stable cardiovascular parameters but are less adaptive to hypoxia conditions. In conclusion, living at high altitudes and lowlands exert different influences on cardiovascular ability, with each environment providing its own advantages and challenges. More research is needed to understand deeper adaptation mechanisms and their implications for long-term cardiovascular health

Abstract

This study investigates erosion modeling in overburden excavation in mining areas with the approach of rain intensity and duration. The main variables considered included rainfall erosion as well as slope length and slope, which were identified as key factors in predicting soil management. The linear regression method evaluated the relationship between independent variables (rainfall erosion, length, and slope) and dependent variables (soil management). The analysis showed that in Model 1, not all independent variables significantly influenced soil management. However, Model 2 revealed that precipitation erosion and slope length and slope significantly affected the dependent variables. These results provide an in-depth understanding of how weather and topographic factors affect soil management practices in mining environments. These findings can be used as a basis for environmental conservation and mitigation decision-making, especially in minimizing soil erosion due to mining activities. By paying attention to these factors, it is hoped that soil management practices can be improved to achieve better environmental sustainability. Further research is recommended to expand this understanding in various geographical conditions and mining environments
