Abstract

Background: The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Raudhatul Atfhal (RA) Wagir-Pakisaji District still faces challenges, especially in the preparation of the Learning Objectives Flow (ATP) and technology integration. This research aims to assist teachers in compiling contextual ATP while improving technology utilization skills in early childhood learning. The method used is Community Based Research (CBR) with the support of Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA), involving RA teachers as active partners. Data were collected through observations, interviews, FGDs, and questionnaires, then analyzed in a simple qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results showed that 78% of teachers need assistance in the preparation of ATP, while 84% do not understand the integration of technology, especially in the arrangement of toys. Through two-stage training and mentoring, teachers experienced significant improvements: understanding of basic concepts of ATP reached the good category (mean 3.9–4.4) and simple technology use skills increased (mean 3.7–4.1). Real products in the form of contextual ATP documents and the design of the arrangement of play equipment were successfully produced by teachers. The conclusion of this study shows that CBR-based workshops are effective in increasing the capacity of RA teachers, although technological integration still requires continuous strengthening. This activity has the potential to be replicated in other PAUD units as a strategy to optimize the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Background: The availability and quality of learning materials directly impact the effectiveness of teaching. At SMA Negeri 4 Takalar, the majority of teachers (90%) rely on printed textbooks, which are limited in number, thus hindering students' access to learning resources. This community service program aims to enhance teachers' ability to design digital learning materials rich in multiple representations (text, images, audio, video, interactive quizzes) with the support of AI-based applications. Methods: The method employed involves in-house training and direct mentoring on the use of AI in creating digital learning materials, utilizing applications such as Prezi, ChatGPT, Canva, Invideo, and Book Creator. Results: The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of the multiple representations approach, which enriches learning materials with various multimodal elements. Additionally, teachers gained skills in creating AI-assisted digital learning materials, enabling them to independently produce interactive content. More than 80% of teachers have applied more diverse representations in their teaching modules, including text, images, audio, and videos. Conclusions: This program successfully improved teachers' ability to create digital learning materials for use in their respective classrooms.

Abstract

Background: Perkembangan energi terbarukan mendorong pemanfaatan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) off-grid sebagai alternatif sumber energi. Gampong Reuleut Barat, Kecamatan Muara Batu, membutuhkan program positif bagi pemuda untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sekaligus mendukung ekonomi mikro. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi pemuda dalam merancang dan membangun sistem PLTS off-grid sebagai backup PLN. Metode: Pelatihan dilaksanakan kepada pemuda Gampong Reuleut Barat melalui pemberian materi dasar PLTS, praktik merakit perangkat keras, dan evaluasi pemahaman dengan kuisioner. Kegiatan dilakukan secara partisipatif agar peserta aktif dalam setiap tahapan. Hasil: Peserta mampu merakit komponen PLTS secara bertahap sesuai materi pelatihan. Evaluasi kuisioner menunjukkan skor rata-rata pemahaman sebesar 66, menandakan peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan pemahaman konsep dasar. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan rancang bangun PLTS off-grid berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan pemuda desa sekaligus mendukung pengembangan ekonomi mikro berbasis energi terbarukan.

Abstract

Background: Salted egg production is one of the processed food sectors with strong market potential but still faces efficiency challenges, particularly in the egg washing stage. SMEs Digdo Bintang Telur in North Cikarang, as the partner in this program, still relied on manual washing methods, limiting production capacity to approximately 200 eggs per day and resulting in a high rate of shell damage. This Community Service Program aims to reduce the time and labor required for egg washing, minimize shell damage through the implementation of an automatic salted egg washing machine, and introduce digitalization in bookkeeping and marketing practices. Method: The implementation methods included socialization, training, machine installation, mentoring, evaluation, and the development of digital bookkeeping and online marketing. The implemented machine was equipped with adjustable speed control, cleaning brushes, inspection lighting to assess egg quality, and an automatic counter for clean and qualified eggs. The results showed a significant improvement, with productivity increasing up to sixteenfold and the rate of shell damage decreasing by 69%. Evaluation of digital bookkeeping revealed improved record accuracy, easier transaction tracking, and faster financial summaries through the use of digital applications and QRIS-based payments. In terms of marketing, analysis of social media reach and engagement (Facebook and Instagram) indicated an increase in online purchases of up to ten orders. Conclusion: This program proved effective not only in enhancing productivity through the innovation of an automatic salted egg washing machine but also in strengthening the partner’s competitiveness through bookkeeping and marketing digitalization.

Abstract

Background: Early childhood is a golden period of growth and development that serves as the foundation for the quality of human resources in the future. Developmental screening in early childhood is crucial to detect growth and developmental disorders at an early stage. Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers play a strategic role in conducting screenings within educational institutions. However, limited teacher capacity in performing developmental screenings often becomes a challenge. Methods: The program was conducted using a training approach designed based on the ADDIE model. The effectiveness of the training was evaluated by comparing the participants’ pre-test and post-test scores. Results: The activity was implemented at TK Muslimat NU 27 Malang and was attended by 12 participants, all of whom were PAUD teachers. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ knowledge and skills based on pre-test and post-test outcomes, as well as increased confidence in conducting growth and development screening in schools. Conclusion: This activity improved teachers’ capacity in children growth and development screening; however, further monitoring and evaluation of implementation are needed.

Abstract

Background: Produksi cabai sebagai sumber mata pencaharian utama masyarakat di Majalengka mencapai 45.414 kwintal. Namun, produktivitas tanaman cabai mengalami penurunan akibat ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia yang mahal dan menurunkan kesuburan tanah. Selain itu, kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan limbah organik rumah tangga membuat peluang pemanfaatannya sebagai pupuk cair belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan limbah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk cair sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman cabai. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan demonstrasi di JSIT Majalengka pada bulan Agustus 2025. Hasil: Hasil  dari  kegiatan ini adalah  dapat  meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan limbah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk untuk mendukung produktivitas tanaman cabai Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan limbah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk cair ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat serta mengatasi kekhawatiran masalah kurangnya pengolahan limbah serta penurunan produktivitas tanaman cabai di Majalengka.

Abstract

Background: FKIP Unsyiah Kindergarten is a kindergarten fostered by Syiah Kuala University, located at Jl. Inong Balee, PPG Dormitory, Kopelma Darussalam Village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. There are many games that are appropriate for the children's age in the FKIP Kindergarten yard, such as swings, slides, and others. All of these games train students' psychomotor skills. Meanwhile, games that train students' cognitive skills are also in the classroom, such as LEGO and block building. The games in the FKIP Kindergarten yard are still not enough to create or even build and support knowledge related to ethnoscience in order to clarify local wisdom for students. The purpose of this community service is to provide training and mentoring for teachers in developing interactive learning media, Ethnoscience Puzzles to Support Local Wisdom. Method: This PKM activity will use 5 stages of activities, namely Socialization, Training, Technology Application, Mentoring and Evaluation, and Program Sustainability. Results: There is a 27% increase in partner capabilities. This means that teachers gained a number of new skills during the community service activities provided by the community service team, where the initial ability of the partners was 62% and after the activities, the final ability increased to 89%. Conclusion: The training and mentoring activities had a positive effect on teachers at the FKIP Unsyiah Kindergarten.

Abstract

Background: Keterbatasan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital di sekolah, khususnya pada forum MGMP Matematika SMA Kota Lhokseumawe, berdampak pada rendahnya variasi metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya pelatihan dalam pengembangan media berbasis teknologi, salah satunya Augmented Reality (AR) menggunakan aplikasi Assemblr Edu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran di era society 5.0. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dengan melibatkan 13 guru secara aktif sejak tahap analisis kebutuhan hingga implementasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam dua pertemuan, meliputi pengenalan konsep AR, praktik pembuatan media melalui Assemblr Edu, serta pendampingan dalam evaluasi hasil karya guru. Hasil: Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media AR, ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya rasa percaya diri, kreativitas, serta relevansi produk dengan kebutuhan siswa. Evaluasi juga memperlihatkan tingkat kepuasan tinggi, di mana 100% peserta berminat mengikuti pelatihan lanjutan dan 85,7% merasa lebih percaya diri menggunakan AR. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan ini tidak hanya memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Background: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Nagari Paninjauan, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, yang menghadapi persoalan ketergantungan tinggi pada pupuk kimia, pemanfaatan limbah pertanian yang belum optimal, serta kelembagaan BUMNag yang masih lemah. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam mengolah limbah pertanian menjadi pupuk dan pestisida organik serta memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi berbasis kelembagaan desa. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) dan pestisida nabati, pendampingan produksi menggunakan fermentor berkapasitas 200 liter, pelatihan business model canvas bagi pengurus BUMNag dan anggota PKK, dan uji lapang pada lahan percontohan. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan petani dalam memproduksi POC, tersedianya sarana fermentor untuk produksi skala besar yang lebih konsisten, serta lahirnya rancangan model bisnis sederhana untuk pemasaran produk organik. Uji lapang memperlihatkan bahwa kombinasi POC dan pupuk anorganik (70:30) mampu menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang mendekati penggunaan pupuk kimia penuh, mendukung konsep Integrated Nutrient Management (INM). Kesimpulan: Program ini memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan pemanfaatan limbah pertanian, dan memperkuat kelembagaan petani menuju sistem pertanian berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan sekaligus memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Background: The problems faced by the 31 teachers of Banda Sakti Elementary School's learning community partners include teachers' low understanding in handling students' math anxiety, difficulties in guiding students who are less motivated and limitations in developing digital teaching media such as interactive e-modules. This problem impacts the learning process which is less effective and students' learning motivation is low. The solution offered is training in creating e-modules integrated with mindfulness and growth mindset strategies, then the goal is achieved so that teachers can design teaching materials that can reduce students' learning anxiety and increase their motivation in learning mathematics. Methods: The method is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), with a participatory approach covering five stages: (1) Identification and analysis of the initial situation, (2) Participatory planning, (3) implementation of activities in the form of 3 sessions of  learning, and feedback (5) Evaluation of the program. Participants were given a pretest before the training began and a posttest after the training ended. Results: Based on the evaluation results, the average pretest scores were 48.06%. After the training, the average posttest score increased to 81.29%. These results indicate that the training also effective in improving their pedagogical competence and technological skills. Furthermore, participants were given a satisfaction survey questionnaire after the training. The results indicated that the training was effective and provided tangible benefits to teachers. Conclusion: It needs to be implemented continuously so that teacher competencies continue to develop in line with the challenges of technology-based education.
