Abstract

This study examines the role of Sarani parents (baptismal sponsors) in the psychosocial development of adolescents at GMIT Imanuel Oenali. The presence of Sarani parents is considered important because they are not only witnesses of baptism but also spiritual companions who are expected to support adolescents in their emotional, social, and identity development. Adolescence is a transitional period characterized by identity exploration and psychosocial challenges, therefore guidance from adult figures is needed. This research used a qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews and documentation involving adolescents, Sarani parents, and church leaders. The results show that Sarani parents contribute to adolescents’ psychosocial development through spiritual guidance, emotional support, moral example, and involvement in church activities. Their presence helps adolescents manage emotions, build self-confidence, and develop positive social relationships. However, the study also found challenges such as limited communication and varying levels of involvement from Sarani parents. Overall, collaboration between Sarani parents, biological parents, and the church plays an important role in supporting the healthy psychosocial development of adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of shipping route optimization on exhaust gas emissions on the KMP Gilimanuk II operating on the Ketapang–Gilimanuk route. The research method used is a quantitative approach utilizing primary and secondary data obtained from the Deck Log Book and Engine Log Book during the sea practice period. Data analysis was carried out by calculating fuel consumption and exhaust gas emissions using the Activity-Based Emission Calculation method. The results show that shipping routes influence the amount of fuel consumption and the level of exhaust gas emissions produced by the vessel. Differences in operational conditions such as travel distance, sailing duration, and ship maneuvering cause variations in fuel consumption and emissions on each route. A comparison between Route 3 and Route 19, which have the same sailing time (16 hours), shows that Route 19 produces higher emissions of 2,099.39 kg CO₂e compared to Route 3 which produces 1,994.30 kg CO₂e.Based on these findings, it can be concluded that optimizing shipping routes plays an important role in improving fuel efficiency and reducing ship exhaust gas emissions. Optimization efforts can be carried out through selecting more efficient sailing routes, regulating ship speed at an economical level, and improving operational management of shipping activities.

Abstract

This study discusses the learning of maharah kalam using the Taqdimul Qissah method, from the perspective of social constructivism proposed by Lev Vygotsky, at the Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Boarding School and the Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative method with an evaluation study approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews with teachers and students in grade 3 at the middle school. The results of the study indicate that the taqdimul qissah method is implemented at the Al-Mashduqiah Islamic Boarding School through teacher storytelling, vocabulary explanations, comprehension discussions, and individual retelling practies. This is in accordance with Vygotsky’s principles. While at the Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Boarding School, this is implemented through storytelling, group discussions, collaborative retelling practices, and individual assignments to compose stories. The ndings indicate that learning occurs through social interaction, gradual support (scaffolding), and communication practices that encourage students to use Arabic actively. Thus, the taqdimul qishah method aligns with the learning principles outlined in Vygotsky’s theory.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of tactics and strategies possessed by futsal extracurricular players at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. The problem addressed in this study is the lack of clear information regarding the level of knowledge of tactics and strategies among these players. In futsal, tactics and strategies are essential aspects that influence game effectiveness, teamwork, and success in achieving victory. However, in practice, there are still players who lack understanding in applying attacking and defensive tactics, as well as game strategies appropriate to match situations. This condition can lead to poor decision-making on the field, lack of coordination among players, and suboptimal team performance patterns. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consisted of 30 players, with a sample of 24 players selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. The research instrument was a knowledge test in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 47 items. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using mean calculations and percentage categories. The results showed that the average score was 29.88, with a maximum score of 41 and a minimum of 13, and a standard deviation of 10.006. The category distribution indicated that most players were in the high category at 41.7%. In addition, 16.7% were in the very high category, 25.0% in the moderate category, 16.7% in the low category, and none were in the very low category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the players' level of knowledge is generally in the high category.
