Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of drawing activities as a medium of visual expression for elementary school students in art learning. Referring to (Priyanto, 2020: 165), drawing serves as a means for students to illustrate imagination, convey experiences, and express their desires and feelings. This study aims to analyze the prosess and outcomes of visual expression in drawing activities among fifth-grade students of SDN Pandean Lamper 05. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation, involing 15 students as research subjects. The results indicate that the process of visual expression consists of several stages, namely providing stimulus, developing ideas, sketching, developing drawings, and presenting the artwork. The findings also show that students’ artworks reflect both similarities and variations of ideas influenced by their experiences and imagination. Furthermore, the use of art elements is dominated by lines and shapes, while art principles such as unity and balance begin to emerge, although still in a simple form. Variations in color usage are also identified, influenced by students’ technical abilities and self-confidence. In conclusion, drawing activities function as a medium of visual expression that reflects students’ experiences, feelings, and imagination, and highlight the importance of supporting creative freedom and gradually improving students’ technical skills in art learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of fourth-grade students' science concepts at the UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai in learning using the Mystery Box media. This study used a Quasi-Experimental Design method. The population in this study was all 66 fourth-grade students at the UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai. The sampling technique used was total sampling or saturated sampling. The results showed that the level of understanding of science concepts in the experimental class using the Mystery Box media obtained an average score of 81.94, categorized as high, and achieved classical mastery of 87.9%. Meanwhile, in the control class not using the Mystery Box media, the average score was 65.15, categorized as moderate, and achieved classical mastery of 21.2%. The hypothesis test results obtained a significance value of 0.001 (0.001 < 0.05), thus H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between learning using the Mystery Box media and learning without it on the understanding of fourth-grade students' science concepts at the SPF Unit of Bontomanai Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on student learning outcomes and skills at the elementary school level. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by reviewing and synthesizing 10 reputable journal articles published in the last three years from 2024-2025. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PjBL can significantly improve students' conceptual understanding, independence, and problem-solving skills due to its relevance to real-life everyday experiences. Although proven effective, the success of this model is highly dependent on the role of the teacher as a facilitator and the readiness of supporting devices. Thus, PjBL is a very potential alternative learning strategy in elementary schools, as long as it is carefully planned according to the stage of students' cognitive development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Islamic educational values ​​contained in the spring and old well festival tradition in Bangun Village, its internalization process in community life, and its relevance to current social conditions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a Phenomenography type, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the tradition contains Islamic educational values ​​in the form of faith, worship, morals, and muamalah. The value of faith is reflected in the community's belief that water is a gift from Allah SWT, the value of worship is seen in the implementation of collective prayers as a form of gratitude, the value of morals is seen in the attitude of mutual cooperation and concern for the environment, and the value of muamalah is seen in harmonious social relations between residents. The process of internalization of these values ​​takes place through habits carried out from generation to generation, active community participation, and the example of community leaders. In addition, the Islamic educational values ​​in this tradition are still relevant in today's community life because they are able to strengthen faith, strengthen social relations, and raise awareness in protecting the environment.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on improving VO2Max endurance among Persinas Asad athletes in Bone Regency. The problem addressed in this research is the need for effective training methods to enhance athletes’ aerobic endurance, particularly VO2Max, which is a fundamental component of physical performance in sports such as pencak silat. The objective of this study is to determine whether HIIT has a significant effect on increasing VOMax endurance. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method. Data were collected through observation and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of High Intensity Interval Training significantly improves VO2Max endurance in athletes. The findings demonstrate that interval-based training provides a meaningful increase in aerobic capacity, making it an effective alternative training method for enhancing endurance performance. Furthermore, VO2Max is identified as a crucial physiological foundation that supports an athlete’s ability to sustain physical activity over time. Therefore, the application of HIIT can be recommended as an efficient training strategy to improve VO2Max and overall endurance capacity in athletes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat meningkatkan kebutuhan akan sistem keamanan jaringan yang efektif, terutama pada organisasi dengan banyak pengguna dan perangkat yang terhubung ke jaringan. Ancaman seperti akses tidak sah, pencurian data, dan serangan siber menjadi tantangan dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur jaringan modern. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi keamanan yang mampu mengontrol akses jaringan secara terpusat, salah satunya melalui penerapan Network Access Control (NAC) menggunakan Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Cisco ISE dalam meningkatkan keamanan akses jaringan pada simulasi infrastruktur TI modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen melalui perancangan topologi jaringan, instalasi sistem, konfigurasi kebijakan keamanan, serta pengujian fitur Secure Access, Posture Compliance, dan Device Administration menggunakan TACACS+. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cisco ISE mampu melakukan identifikasi perangkat, autentikasi dan otorisasi pengguna, serta menerapkan kebijakan keamanan secara otomatis berdasarkan identitas dan kondisi perangkat. Dengan demikian, implementasi Cisco ISE dapat meningkatkan keamanan jaringan, mengurangi risiko akses tidak sah, serta mendukung penerapan konsep keamanan jaringan berbasis identitas dan Zero Trust.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategic role of religious education in reducing the potential for intolerance among adolescents, with Ungaran State Junior High School No. 3 serving as the primary research site. This study addresses the urgent need for a model of religious education that is not only doctrinal but also functional in fostering harmony within a heterogeneous school environment characterized by religious diversity. A qualitative approach using an intrinsic case study design was employed, with data collection via participatory observation of school activities, analysis of curriculum and policy documents, and in-depth interviews with four key informants—school administrators, teachers, and Muslim and Christian students—to provide a rich, in-depth description. Findings indicate that the internalization of religious tolerance is most effective through a combination of dialectical discussions that foster interfaith dialogue and physical symbolization, such as inclusive worship facilities for all denominations. These interactions break down negative stereotypes, creating a strong sense of school inclusion. The practical implications call for a dialogic reform of multicultural education curricula, although the study is limited to a single case and a small number of informants, so generalizations require further study in different demographic contexts.

Abstract

The quality of the school's physical environment, specifically lighting and acoustics, is a primary determinant influencing learning comfort and students' psychological health. However, many elementary school buildings in Malang City still face technical constraints due to suboptimal architectural planning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of classroom and library performance against functional comfort standards. The method employed is quantitative descriptive through field observations and direct measurements in two rooms, each with dimensions of 8 x 8 meters. The data collection procedure implemented a grid sampling technique, consisting of 32 measurement points (Grid A-H) in the classroom and 49 measurement points (Grid A-G) in the library. The results indicate a significant natural lighting deficit, with average light intensities in the classroom (56.0–65.0 Lux) and the library (49.5–59.9 Lux) falling far below the minimum standard of 300 Lux (SNI 03-6197-2000). This is triggered by the suboptimal use of passive elements (glass blocks and boventlights) and building facade obstructions. Meanwhile, the acoustic aspect consistently exceeds the ideal threshold of 55 dB (SNI 7231:2009), with peak noise reaching 65.6 dB in the library due to fundamental master plan errors that placed the literacy area adjacent to the cafeteria. These conditions increase the cognitive load and the risk of visual fatigue for students. This study recommends the optimization of artificial lighting and the installation of sound absorbers to create a learning environment that is higher in quality, standardized, and inclusive.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a formative assessment instrument in the form of a Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based two-tier multiple choice using Wordwall media to measure students’ conceptual understanding of decimal numbers in grade V elementary school. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The subjects of this study were 16 fifthgrade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that the developed instrument met the feasibility criteria, with material validation at 70% (valid), language validation at 93% (very valid), and media validation at 76% (valid). All 15 items were declared valid based on the Pearson Product Moment test, and the reliability test showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.84, indicating high reliability. The item analysis results revealed that most questions were in the moderate difficulty category, had good discrimination power, and effective distractors. Therefore, the developed instrument is feasible to be used as a formative assessment tool to measure conceptual understanding and identify students’ misconceptions through an interactive learning medium.

Abstract

Effective marketing management is key to facing increasingly fierce competition and rapidly changing market1 dynamics. In this context, this study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach to explore marketing management techniques and promotional strategies that can increase sales and customer loyalty. The results of the study indicate that good service quality, including speed, friendliness, and responsiveness, significantly influences consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Furthermore, maintaining product quality that meets consumer expectations is also an important factor in building trust and loyalty. Competitive pricing, where consumers perceive they are getting value for their money, also contributes to repeat purchase decisions. Promotions conducted through KOLs have proven effective in building emotional connections between brands and consumers. KOLs with credibility and influence among their audiences can amplify promotional messages and increase product awareness. This study concludes that adaptive and innovative marketing strategies, especially those utilizing digital technology and social media, are crucial for MSMEs to create a competitive advantage in the modern marketplace. The results and recommendations from this study are expected to serve as guidelines for MSMEs in formulating more targeted and effective marketing strategies.
